Failed Experimental Subject S-001, Noah, has been given one mission by the System: ensure that his fellow subjects, E-001 (Alan) and G-002 (Daniel), fform the world's strongest Esper-Guide bond. According to the vision he received, their powerful Esper-Guide bond is the key to unlocking unlimited potential and securing the future of the world.

To fulfill that mission, Subject S-001 is released from the laboratory and ordered to find his runaway fellow subjects. This is his final chance to prove that he is not a defective experiment.

However, unknown to everyone else, Noah is not a defect. He is a man reincarnated into a doomed story he read long ago. Worse still, he is an SSS-Class Guide-Hybrid whose only goal is to stay hidden.

Determined to use this last shred of freedom, Noa plans to escape the laboratory that tormented him and the fate it forced upon him.

But little does he expect that the world awaiting him is completely different from the one he remembers. Worse, the two people he is supposed to bring together slowly begin falling for him instead, causing the future he foresaw to unravel before his eyes.

With the world's end drawing near and the “true ending” nowhere in sight, Noa must make whatever adjustments are necessary to ensure the two fated people end up together... even if it means sacrificing himself. After all, if that is what it takes to save the world, then so be it.
