Chapter 21: Ch 21: I guess I will help

"Hey...can you let me go...? I think my arm is starting to turn red..."

Noah complained, but Alan’s eyes told him that there was no point in saying all this to the esper. He was far too gone, and Noah could feel him trying to draw guidance out of his body.

It was bearable right now, but this forced guidance would start to hurt soon. Before that, Noah decided to put an end to this.

"You bastard! Let go of me!"

Usually, Noah liked to resolve a situation peacefully, but this time he chose violence. He decided to grab Alan’s hand and kick him near his knee. But the esper did not even budge.

"Darn you! Are you made of steel? You are truly leaving me with no other choice but to utilize force."

Noah complained, and when there was no response, he decided to start reverse guiding.

Alan complained, but his words were more like hisses. Noah took it as a success and pushed Alan a little more when the ground collapsed beneath their feet.

Both he and Alan started to fall, and Alan quickly wrapped his arms around Noah to protect his head.

"Ugh-"

Alan hit the ground first, and Noah was able to use his body as a cushion. And despite this added burden, Alan was able to stand as if nothing had happened.

"This feels unfair. Here I am with a broken leg and forced to flee from you while you get to survive a fall like it’s nothing. And where are we now?"

The cave looked unusual and Noah’s senses were picking up mixed energy from inside. His instincts made him want to take a step back...but where could he go?

Something lunged toward him, and Noah did not have enough time to dodge.

Thankfully, Alan pulled him to safety, and the sleek monster that attacked them quickly regained its form.

"Is this...the boss of this dungeon?"

Noah asked in disbelief as he watched the monster shifting forms. It did not look too strong, but it was fast. And currently, that speed was Noah’s biggest weakness.

"Alan, we need to kill that boss if you want guidance."

Noah tried to entice Alan into fighting, but the esper was far too focused on him to pay attention to his surroundings. He was even willing to take attacks if it meant he got to keep touching Noah.

And this behavior of his made Noah feel guilty.

He knew he could end Alan’s suffering in one minute if he wanted to. And there was a solid chance that Alan was too far gone to remember anything.

But the small chance of being found out kept Noah from doing what was right.

Alan noticed his hesitation, and his animal-like eyes looked at Noah and then at the boss before he let go of Noah and lunged toward the boss.

It was not a long fight.

The dungeon boss had just started to evolve, so it could not withstand attacks from an SSS-Class esper for long. That was how Noah ended up with monster bits all over himself.

"This...feels disgusting..."

He complained, only to be tackled by Alan next. He landed on his back, and Alan loomed over him with his dark eyes and dangerous glare. Noah’s brain told him that he needed to run, but his body refused to move.

His mouth was the only thing that moved.

"Alan..."

He called softly, and he noticed the esper looking agitated. He leaned down to bite Noah, only to pull back and let out a grunt.

"Ughhh, N-No...Can’t...lose...control..."

Alan had started fighting with himself to regain control of his body. He had realized that he had lost control somewhere along the way, and now he was fighting hard to regain it.

But an esper was not capable of fighting corruption without help, and an SSS-Class esper was no exception. Doing so could permanently damage an esper’s mind.

[Warning: Target is about to enter a mentally unstable state. Please help the target before his well-being is compromised.]

Noah looked at that message with a blank expression, and then he looked at Alan’s suffering face, feeling unsure about what he should do.

Ideally, he knew that helping Alan was the right thing to do, but his common sense kept holding him back.

"Hey, Alan, get a hold of yourself. We need to get you back to Daniel. I cannot cure you-"

"I...won’t be...able to make it...back without...exploding. You...help me..."

Alan’s consciousness barely returned, which made Noah feel hopeful. But his words took away all the hope he was beginning to feel.

So Noah tried to reason with Alan again, and this time, he sounded even more desperate.

"I am sure you can make it back. No, you have to make it back. I don’t have enough energy to help you-"

Alan reached out to grab Noah’s face before he smashed their lips together.

The sudden contact made Noah’s mind go blank and his control over his powers started to fade. By the time he realized what was happening, it was too late.

Alan pressed harder against Noah’s lips before he nibbled at them to make Noah open his mouth. Noah could feel his guiding leaving his body, and he tried to regain control of the situation by taking control of the kiss."

"Open your mouth. I will feed you my guidance. Just...take it slow..."

Alan pressed his whole weight against Noah and the guide could feel the esper’s excitement twitching against his lower body.

It was the side effect of corruption and guiding was making Alan’s condition worse. Noah needed to stop now if he did not want to make a mistake.

But would it truly be that bad? Alan looked like he truly needed help and Noah was able to give him what he wanted. Surely one time would be fine...?

"Shh, don’t think about anything. You don’t need to remember what is happening. I will help you out."

Noah promised as he opened the gates of his guiding and he started to control them.

The esper moved his lips away from Noah’s own before he began to press them against the guide’s neck. He was licking and biting Noah like a dog.

Meanwhile, Noah’s hands began to roam around dangerous territory and finally, he grabbed Alan’s hardness and began to stroke it.

Alan instantly stopped biting and he leaned against Noah even more.

"Ah, I guess there is no point in stopping you now. It will be better to get this out of your system. Luckily, you are too far gone to recall what is happening so I will be able to make an excuse for this."
