Logan is a young man from Earth who had died after being diagnosed with a rare illness that had kept him hospitalised for years.

But to his surprise, Logan didn't just die and move on to the afterlife.

Instead, he woke up in a different hospital to see a beautiful woman with pointy ears crying incessantly to what should have been his corpse whilst she kept blaming herself for not being the mother she should have been for him over the years.

Watching all this immediately touched him and he vowed internally to never make his new mother cry again and to also seek revenge on those who had caused his death in this world.

But to his surprise, the following night, his mother could be seen standing alone in what looked like a pool of blood and bodies scattered all over the floor.

"No one messes with my boy and gets away with it," Logan's elven mother uttered softly, but Logan couldn't help but exclaim inwardly.

'What? Was my mother always an S-rank assassin or martial artist? I thought she was just a rich and beautiful elf who spent most of her time pampering me!'

But as Logan watched his mother casually wipe the blood from her blade, another terrifying thought suddenly crossed his mind.

If his mother was this terrifying…

Then just what kind of family had he been reincarnated into?
