[BL]The Matchmaker Guide Doesn't Want Love

Chapter 70: Ch 70: Someone Broke into my Room

  • Next Chapter

Noah decided to open Alan’s room door 20 minutes after Kris had let out a loud yell to hear what the people were talking about.

And as expected, they were all talking about Kris and his room. It was gossip about how someone had broken into his room and left a message saying they ’liked’ him, and that was why they decided to harass him.

Most espers had sympathy for Kris, but they were also jealous of him and took this opportunity to knock him down a little.

Some even complained that he was overreacting and that there was no need to get this sensitive.

For now, things were progressing in the way that Noah wanted, and he had a feeling the other esper would soon contact him.

As expected, his phone buzzed before the call connected. It was time to start acting once more.

"H-Hello, Senior Kris...what can I-"

[I don’t have time for this. Do you know who thrashed my room? Hurry up and tell me!]

The esper demanded this as if he had any right to do so. But as annoyed as Noah felt, he knew better than to express his feelings.

So he pretended to be shocked when he replied.

"Your room got thrashed? Are you alright? Where will you live now? Was there a note left behind?"

Noah asked, and his interrogation seemed to be making Kris irrationally mad because he snapped immediately.

[You do not need to know anything about it. I just wanted to confirm if you knew anything about this. But your stupid voice tells me that you have no clue.]

Kris was very judgmental, and he had immediately pinned Noah as a dumb guide who could not do much.

It made Noah feel annoyed, but honestly, this was much better than the alternative, which was for Kris to always keep his guard up around Noah.

"Senior, I-"

[Just keep your ears open and your eyes peeled. If you hear anything about this, then tell me. I will teach my stalker a lesson once I get my hands on them. This is neither funny nor fun.]

The man complained, showing his hypocrisy.

’You did not seem to have a problem when you were stalking Daniel and terrorizing us, but now you become filled with justice because you are the victim? I knew you were a two-faced bastard.’

Unfortunately, Noah could not voice these words out loud, and he had to control his feelings on this matter.

"I understand. But please call me if you need any help. I will try my best-"

And the senior cut the call, not wanting to talk to Noah anymore.

This was fine with Noah, and his mood improved immediately after knowing that he had caused Kris trouble. Now, he just needed to continue until Kris was driven mad...uhmmm, until he was taught a lesson.

"I wonder how long it will take for Kris to run to the teachers and report this incident. Not that I expect anything to come out of it."

...

"Teacher, we are here to talk to you about that follow-up investigation. Did you get to look into that student who released that monster in the school?"

Alan knocked on the door to the teacher’s common room and spoke out loud. He knew that if he did this, then the teachers wouldn’t be able to ignore him.

As expected, the door opened immediately, and a teacher looked at him with an annoyed expression before calming her expression.

"I am afraid that the investigation is ongoing, but with no results. We will need time on our end to verify some results...but isn’t the current situation fine? You and Daniel are living together, so you should not mind this. Who knows...maybe there might develop something more between you?"

The teacher suggested this in order to lighten the mood, but she honestly looked so done with this whole thing.

Daniel’s face looked a little soft, but Alan had no such feelings of softness toward their teacher. He was going to grill her, and he was going to grill her hard.

"Now this feels unfair! You promised us results, but you are just avoiding telling us anything so far. Are you sure you are not trying to shield the esper responsible?"

Alan asked, and the teacher let out a sigh when she looked at him. There was fear in her eyes, but also conviction.

"Student Alan, I am afraid that this is the limit of what we can do right now. If you have a problem, please take it up with the board yourself. That is all I can tell you."

The teacher told him, but before she could head back inside, another person joined them.

Alan tried to hide his sinister smile once he noticed that it was the culprit he had been looking for—Kris. And he looked both angry and annoyed.

Their teacher looked startled, but once she noticed that neither Alan nor Daniel were doing anything, she let out a sigh and turned toward Kris with an awkward look on her face.

"What do you want, Student Kris?"

She asked, which made Kris angrier.

"I need to file a report. Someone trashed my room and is playing tricks on me. Is this how the academy handles student security?"

He raged, making the teacher frown.

Alan could read her eyes questioning how Kris, of all people, could say these words out loud.

Her intention to ignore this was obvious on her face, but she ended up caving under the pressure.

"What do you want us to do, Student Kris? We are too busy right now, so we don’t have time to look into someone’s prank-"

"I want access to the security cameras. I want to be able to know who snuck into my room and then teach them a lesson. This is unacceptable behavior, and anyone who did this should be punished."

Kris firmly said that, and the teacher looked even more awkward. Her eyes darted toward Daniel and Alan, who were smiling coldly now.

And Alan decided to strike while the iron was hot.

"That’s right, Teacher. Anyone who breaks the rules like this needs to be punished, no matter who they are. Right, Senior?"
