Chapter 527 -380: A Saint Descends! But the Wizard Version

After passing through the World Gate with his Demonic Puppet Legion, Isaac arrived on a vast, endless plain. This was the Kingdom Alliance’s stronghold in Bruleidi.

It was also their only stronghold.

For a normal nation, this grassland had many advantages. It was extremely suitable for developing animal husbandry, with an abundance of grass and rich natural resources. Its various flora and fauna were also quite valuable.

Unfortunately, it had one major drawback—it had too few Extraordinary resources!

This wasn’t much of a disadvantage for the former native inhabitants. But for the other three powers, it held very little value. They wouldn’t feel the slightest bit of regret leaving such a large expanse of grassland entirely to the Kingdom Alliance.

In fact, being able to placate the Kingdom Alliance at such a small cost was considered a bargain.

On the grassland, the Silver Knight directed the Demonic Puppet Legion in setting up camp. Shushu perched on Isaac’s shoulder, while Liu Li and the Saint Master stood quietly behind him. Isaac had already communicated with the people from the Kingdom Alliance before his arrival, so their landing spot was designated as their campsite.

Of course, it was only a temporary camp.

Neither Isaac nor the Demonic Puppet Legion would be staying here for long. If they were to suffer any major losses, they would retreat directly to their territory in the Real World.

Still, the necessary defensive measures had to be taken.

Four rays of light shot out from Isaac, transforming into four Deities that concealed themselves in the Void, silently guarding the temporary camp.

At the same time, a crystalline purple radiance of Divine Power unfolded layer by layer before Isaac. A slightly ethereal Mage Tower appeared in front of him—the Illusory Space.

This was one of the applications of the Void Witch’s Divine Authority, allowing him to temporarily manifest a space from his memory. Unfortunately, its current power was insufficient. If it were a Tier Five Divine Authority, the manifested Mage Tower could even possess its full might!

As it was now, it could only serve as a temporary base.

At most, he could use it to review some data; he couldn’t even conduct experiments.

However, that was only for Isaac. For the Silver Knight and his Demonic Puppet Legion, it was a decent place to rest and recuperate.

Just as Isaac was about to step into the ethereal Mage Tower, a beam of divine light flew over from the distance and landed not far away.

The radiance faded, and Isaac’s brow twitched slightly as he looked at the figure that appeared.

“Father? What are you doing here?”

That’s right. The person who emerged from the divine light was none other than Isaac’s father, Gaia Solomon.

“The Solomon Kingdom is a member of the Kingdom Alliance. Isn’t it normal for me to be here?” Gaia said with a laugh, looking in amazement at the Demonic Puppet Legion behind Isaac.

The Solomon Kingdom also had a Demonic Puppet Legion, which they had purchased from Isaac. Initially, they were just standard, rather ordinary Demonic Puppets. However, thanks to Cheryl’s modifications, they had gradually become one of the Kingdom’s core legions.

But compared to the one behind Isaac…

‘They’re still far inferior. I don’t know how this kid managed it. Isn’t he a Wizard?’

Gaia was very surprised. Logically, Arcanists should have been more skilled in this area.

Isaac, on the other hand, had no idea what his father was thinking. He looked at Gaia, his lips parting as if to say something, but in the end, he remained silent.

‘The Solomon Kingdom is indeed a member of the alliance, and it’s true that according to the rules, they have to send people here, but…’

‘Shouldn’t my older brother have been the one to come?’

‘In this Extraordinary World, the rulers of most nations always led the charge, since most Kings were their nation’s strongest individuals.’

‘Of course, the Solomon Kingdom was something of an exception. Caesar was still only a Tier Three High Knight, but he had a special status and was supposedly backed by a powerful Deity. His combat strength wasn’t necessarily that much weaker than my old man’s, this watered-down Tier Four.’

‘Coupled with the peer-to-peer combat rules in the Tier Five Little World, Caesar could obviously be of greater use and would also be less likely to die.’

However, saying something like that would be too damaging to his father’s pride, so after a moment of consideration, he decided against it.

“Is that so?” Isaac nodded. After a moment’s thought, he made a casual gesture. The four-cornered Deific protection around the camp became three-cornered, and a golden beam of divine light flew behind Gaia, where the figure of a tall Knight flickered and vanished.

“This is the Knight’s Shield, a Tier Four Virtual Deity. His Divine Authority is ‘Absolute Defense.’ I was planning to switch him out for ‘Knight Domain,’ which has a wider range of applications, but I haven’t gotten around to it. Perfect timing, he can be of use now. With him here, as long as a Tier Five expert doesn’t intervene, he can hold out until I arrive, no matter the situation.”

After a pause, Isaac added, “No, wait. ‘Boundless’ might have the power to break ‘Absolute Defense,’ so Father, you should avoid the battlefield near the Terra Kingdom for now. At least, not until I’ve had a chance to test that fellow’s true strength.”

Having lived for so many years, how could Gaia not understand Isaac’s meaning? But the painful part was that Isaac was telling the truth…

Lies don’t wound, but the truth is a swift blade!

Fortunately, Gaia was already used to being put down by Caesar. ‘Sons being more brilliant than their father and all that…’

‘It wasn’t the first time. Between Cheryl and Caesar, which of them wasn’t more outstanding than him?’

‘Among his children, only Remington was a bit stupid.’ He had long grown accustomed to this reality. Thus, he only felt a slight discomfort with Isaac’s arrangements—just a bit of wounded pride. More than that, he felt the pride of a father!
