Wizard: Scamming a Demon God
Chapter 525: The Interesting Bruleidi
Chapter 525 -379: The Interesting Bruleidi
After a moment of thought, he prepared to join the battlefield. But not to help the Terra Kingdom. He planned to go meet the Eldest Prince and see just how special the Venerable Bone—which originally belonged to Caesar—truly was.
However, he didn’t intend to side against the Terra Kingdom, either. After all, his relationship with Philo was still quite good, and he wasn’t prepared to make things too tense with Terra.
His intuition told him that the Emperor’s death might not have been so simple, so absolute.
‘That old geezer probably has other tricks up his sleeve!’
Besides, with the promises from the Demigod Mages, the Terra Royal Family wouldn’t be wiped out for the time being. They could hold on for a long time. Although their power had weakened significantly, it wasn’t impossible for them to rise again.
After all, accumulated resources could be stolen, but accumulated knowledge was much harder to take away. In this day and age, passing down knowledge was incredibly simple. You just had to store it with the Truth Association, and then you could rest easy.
And it was this knowledge Isaac was after. As long as the Terra Royal Family’s bloodline endured, they could continuously access all sorts of knowledge from the Truth Association.
Furthermore, this world had the special Wizard class of Mad Witch. ‘What if, in the future, some member of the Terra Royal Family gets desperate enough to walk the path of a Mad Witch and just so happens to succeed? Wouldn’t the Terra Empire have hope once again?’
In the Extraordinary world, anything is possible!
All in all, while the Terra Kingdom was currently a mess—and would predictably continue to be a mess—there was no need for Isaac, personally, to offend them too deeply.
‘Caesar, the one who had his Venerable Bone gouged out, isn’t even worried. So why should I be?’
So for this New World expedition, Isaac planned to intervene as a third party, purely to scour for resources and, at the same time, to witness the power of Boundless.
Normally, a situation like this wouldn’t happen. Because apart from those Little Worlds with nothing in them, all other Little Worlds are extremely valuable resources. A Tier Five Little World, in particular, is the most precious of the precious!
Because for a Little World, Tier Five is its absolute limit!
The only difference between them is, at most, the number of Tier Five powerhouses. Anything higher would be a Tier Six Great World—a completely different level. Although such worlds also have considerable value, their development difficulty is too high, and they cannot be absorbed into the Real World. Consequently, their relative value is somewhat lower.
Of course, the former reason is more important: the development difficulty is too high.
Because, in a sense, a Tier Six Great World has no World Wall!
That means anyone can just waltz right in!
Inside…
‘It’s pure chaos!’
Therefore, under normal circumstances, a Tier Five Little World like this would be developed exclusively by a single faction. They would immediately lock down its world coordinates and the transport channel of its World Gate to prevent any other faction from finding it.
But the current situation is rather unique. The Terra Kingdom’s Little World was discovered by the Autex Empire through a brute-force carpet search of the Boundless Void. The Autex Empire then entered a stalemate with the Terra Kingdom for a time. After discovering that their people couldn’t defeat the Eldest Prince within the Little World and conquer it, they chose to break the Terra Kingdom’s world blockade and broadcast the world’s coordinates to everyone. Now, as long as you have a World Gate, you can go directly to that Little World and grab a piece of the pie!
‘A World Gate…’
Isaac was still in the process of building his own. The thing was technically complex, and the required materials were relatively High Level and hard to gather on short notice.
However, the Flesh Sect, the Truth Association, and the Mad Witch Association all had massive World Gates open to their respective members. The Truth Association even had a World Gate open to all powerful individuals—as long as you paid the fee, you could use it.
For now, it wasn’t a major problem.
Soon, following Isaac’s command, his entire domain began to operate like a war machine. A Demonic Puppet Legion of three thousand was quickly assembled by the Silver Knight.
Unlike before, Isaac did not bring Soron or Agares on this expedition. The former still needed to digest his recent gains—frequent combat was not actually conducive to a Wizard’s growth. As for the latter, although the trouble he’d caused wasn’t major, he had still made a mistake and needed to be put in confinement to reflect on his actions.
Besides, this Little World was different from the previous ones. This was a Tier Five Little World.
The biggest difference between a Tier Five and a Tier Four Little World was the intensity of the combat. Unlike in Tier Four Little Worlds, where the fighting was at most between Tier Three powerhouses, a Tier Five Little World was a free-for-all battlefield for Tier Four combatants!
Once the World Wall had been sufficiently weakened, any life form below Tier Five could freely enter and exit the Little World.
Furthermore, unlike with Tier Four, the battles in a Tier Five Little World were decided from start to finish by Tier Four combatants. The Tier Five experts from both sides would only face off against each other in the Void; they would not descend to join the fight.
This was for two reasons. First, a battle at the Tier Five level would cause such a massive disturbance that a Little World of this scale would be destroyed before long—an outcome nobody wanted to see. Second, even in the Real World, a Tier Five powerhouse, even if only a Knight, was a significant figure in their own right.
Under normal circumstances, such an Existence would “sell” themselves for a good price, taking the opportunity to join the forces of the Real World after the battle. After all, they too yearned to advance further.
