Wizard: Scamming a Demon God
Chapter 471 - 349: Silver Law
'She understood that this was the Terra Kingdom's attempt to win her over. Unfortunately, it was an open plot, and she couldn't refuse!'
'After all, Philo wasn't like her; she didn't have the right to choose.'
"It's about to begin." Glancing at the two people making eyes at each other, Philo frowned slightly and cleared her throat. She gently pressed a slender, pale hand against the heavy gate, and the mysterious patterns on the Star Realm Gate began to glow with a purple light.
KRKKKKK!!!
A heavy grinding sound echoed as the Star Realm Gate slowly began to open. Violent Void Magic Power spilled from within, making the three's robes rustle loudly.
After a dazzling flash of light, the trio's surroundings changed!
They had arrived in a starry expanse. Above them was an incredibly mysterious cosmos, where faint, multicolored starlight seemed to have traveled an immense distance to reach this place. From this starlight, Isaac sensed faint fluctuations of Divine Power.
Isaac raised his finger, and a wisp of starlight coiled around its tip. A look of surprise crossed his face. He had long known that the stars in the sky were transformed Deities, but whether in the Real World or the world of the Wilderness Dungeon, he had never felt the presence of Divine Power within starlight.
At least, not in starlight that could be so casually collected.
This couldn't help but set Isaac's mind racing. 'If I were to hold a trading ritual with an Outer God here... what kind of changes would that bring?'
"Hey! Don't you dare do anything reckless!" Beside him, Philo, who was also a Mad Witch—though far less "pure" than Isaac—was still in the same line of work. While she couldn't exactly predict his every move, it wasn't hard to tell if he was about to go crazy based on the subtle changes in his expression.
Thus, upon noticing the pensive look on Isaac's face, she had quickly given him a stern warning.
Hearing this, Angel also shot Isaac a rather stern look. As her own power grew, Angel's understanding of Mad Witches had deepened.
She once believed the Path of the Mad Witch was the most suitable path for her, convinced that with the Magic Scripture Chronicles of Time, she would always come out on top in any trade with an Outer God!
But now, she knew just how naive her past self had been!
Outer Gods were not such simple Existences!
Short-term gains and losses were irrelevant to Outer Gods. What They truly cared about was what a Mad Witch possessed after death or upon promotion to Tier Five. To an Outer God, trading with a Mad Witch was more like fishing; the initial investments were nothing more than chumming the waters.
Once the fish was on the hook, that was when They began to reap their harvest!
After all, this was only *like* fishing, not *actually* fishing. Outer Gods possessed none of an angler's spirit; to get the fish, They would stop at nothing!
So, upon hearing Philo's words, she tore her gaze away from the sphere-like New World below and looked seriously at Isaac.
"Ahem." Feeling their gazes, Isaac coughed lightly, waved his hand to disperse the starlight at his fingertip, and said with some embarrassment, "Relax, I know what I'm doing... Is this the Little World? It's amazing!"
Isaac fixed his gaze on the purple-glowing sphere at their feet, a look of astonishment on his face.
Isaac was no stranger to Little Worlds. After all, starting from Tier Three, a Wizard gained the ability to construct one. However, those Little Worlds were incredibly barren, no different from the countless specks of dust that were the Little Worlds of the Boundless Void. They had little value and could only be used as storage space.
But this was the first time he had ever observed a Little World like this.
Faced with Isaac's awkward change of subject, Philo and Angel exchanged a glance, each seeing a trace of helplessness in the other's eyes. Fortunately, they had anticipated such a situation before inviting Isaac.
Isaac's power and potential were undeniable; he was just a little too crazy!
Unlike other Mad Witches who risked trading with Outer Gods purely to grow stronger, Isaac held almost no reverence for them. Not only did he often outright snatch things from the Outer Gods during his usual trades, but he seemed to want to trade with them at the slightest provocation...
...as if it were just a hobby of his.
Therefore, before deciding to cooperate with him, the two had already prepared themselves mentally. As long as he didn't trade with an Outer God right in front of them, they would let it be.
So, they accepted his clumsy attempt to change the subject and turned their gazes to the magnificent sphere below.
"Let's begin."
"Mhm," they replied in unison.
As the words fell, a Crystal Ball flew from Philo's hand, hovering between her and Isaac. The two began Casting simultaneously. Magic Power surged from their bodies and, under their control, tadpole-like Magic Texts poured from the Crystal Ball, cascading downward like a tide and silently seeping into the sphere.
Star Realm Navigation—a Magic spell specifically used for developing a New World. This spell could confuse the World Wall, silently deploying lifeforms that met its criteria into the Little World. Depending on the Caster's mastery of the spell, it could delay the Little World's detection of the pioneer force to varying degrees.
Since Angel was a Witch and had not yet learned this spell, she was mainly responsible for deploying the pioneer force.
SHHHHHHH~
A profound Magic Book materialized before Angel. A clock-like phantom flashed behind her for a brief moment, causing the Little World's World Wall to fluctuate slightly. The long-prepared pioneer force immediately surged into the Little World.
Among them were Demon Eye Soron and the Demon Dominator Agares.
Meanwhile, inside the Little World...
"Hmph. So they've come after all?" In the center of the continent, within a magnificent grand hall, a Knight of unusual build, clad in black heavy armor, frowned and looked up toward the heavens beyond!
They had some foreknowledge of the invaders, but they didn't know exactly when they would arrive.
Just as he was preparing to personally go and clean up those little bugs, he suddenly felt a strange restraint. Indeed, just as he had expected, the real threat was not the bugs that had entered, but what lay beyond the heavens!
He likely wouldn't be able to act without dealing with the three figures outside.
"It's just as you said, Gandalf."
At these words, the old, white-haired man in a gray robe standing beside the Black Knight nodded and said, "King, the time for a decision is here. Do we resist with all our might, or..."
"Don't you already know the answer?" the Black Knight replied faintly, not answering his question directly.
Hearing this, the gray-robed Star Mage, Gandalf, nodded. Yes, he already knew the answer. From the moment this world's coordinates were exposed, they had been left with no choice.
They were not completely ignorant of the Boundless Void, and so they had heard of the constantly conquering Paradise World. Likewise, both he and the Black Knight yearned for it.
After all, in this world, the path forward was nearly severed; they could practically see the end of their road from where they stood!
The Black Knight was in a better position; the Path of the Knight could at least lead to Tier Four, and even Tier Five wasn't entirely hopeless, just exceedingly difficult. But the path for them Casters was bleak...
Forget Tier Five, even Tier Three was nearly their limit. Therefore, he naturally yearned for the legendary Paradise World, where Casters were said to be extremely powerful!
In that world, perhaps he could advance further!
No!
'I can *definitely* advance further!'
However, yearning for that world didn't mean they would surrender without a fight. As rulers of a Little World, they understood a fundamental principle: what is too easily obtained is never cherished!
So, as harsh as it sounded, the reality before them was this: they needed to resist with all their might, to display their own value as much as possible, so that they could sell themselves for a good price upon their inevitable defeat...
Thus, after receiving the Black Knight's answer, Gandalf pressed his palms together and then slowly pulled them apart. A silver orb of light instantly materialized. The moment it appeared, countless threads of light shot out, connecting to every living being in the entire Little World!
