Chapter 312: Chapter 313: Andre’s Brilliant Achievements

"Twenty years? Is that something a newcomer to the academy would do?"

The Dean frowned at Andre.

In the Wizard World, it wasn’t unheard of for people like Andre to exist—those who spent all day immersed in books.

But such individuals, such Wizards, were usually those who could no longer advance.

That was why they turned their attention to books, hoping to use the experience of their predecessors to help them break through and advance further.

"How long have you been at the academy?"

The Dean took a deep breath and asked Andre.

"I entered the academy when I was sixteen. I’m fifty-three now."

Andre stated his age.

"Thirty-seven years? You’ve been in the academy for thirty-seven years?"

After Andre stated his age, even the Dean was a little shocked.

"Yes. The year I entered the academy was exactly ten years before the expedition began."

"In these thirty-seven years, don’t tell me you’ve just been reading books the whole time?"

The Dean looked at Andre, feeling a little anxious.

"Not entirely. Besides reading, I also studied Pharmacy and Casting Science."

"Then, in addition to those two disciplines, I also minored in some Spellcrafting and knowledge of Witchcraft Arrays."

Andre looked at the Dean and listed the subjects he had studied.

After Andre listed his disciplines, the Dean suddenly felt a pang in his heart—a heart that was already almost fully converted to Energy—and it even felt like it was about to explode.

In the span of thirty-seven years, this new Wizard had not only studied the entire Demon Pattern Encyclopedia covering the Elementary Wizard Apprentice, High Level Wizard Apprentice, and Level 1 Wizard stages, but he had also minored in the four incredibly difficult disciplines of Pharmacy, Casting Science, Spellcrafting, and Demon Pattern Array Study.

And on top of that, he had achieved considerable skill in these four fields.

"I remember a Master Alchemist suddenly appeared in the academy a few decades ago. What’s the connection between that Master Alchemist and you?"

At this, the Dean looked at Andre and suddenly spoke.

"If you’re talking about the Master Alchemist who opened a Potion shop in the market, then that person should be me," Andre admitted forthrightly.

"A Master Alchemist?" By now, the Dean’s gaze had become a little dazed.

"You’re not just a Master Alchemist, are you? You’re also a Master of Casting, right?"

The Dean took a deep breath, looking at Andre for confirmation.

"My skill in Casting Science has not yet reached the level of a master."

Andre’s words momentarily sobered the dazed Dean.

But Andre’s next sentence nearly made him pass out.

"But my skill with Witchcraft Scrolls is about the same as my skill in Pharmacy."

"Witchcraft Scrolls?" The corners of the Dean’s mouth twitched uncontrollably when he heard this.

The effort required to depict Witchcraft as an illustration and then inscribe it onto a Scroll was immense.

This was because it placed extremely high demands on one’s Spellcrafting and Witchcraft Array Study.

And now Andre was saying his skill with Witchcraft Scrolls was comparable to his skill in Pharmacy.

This was equivalent to saying that Andre was also a Curse Master and an Array Master.

"Master of Demon Patterns, Master Alchemist, Curse Master, Array Master, Scroll Master!"

The Dean’s face was grave as he stared at Andre, having listed his titles in each of these disciplines.

Although he was limited by his relatively low Realm...

...a master was still a master. As long as Andre’s Realm increased...

...it wouldn’t be long before he could master the knowledge corresponding to his Realm, and even innovate upon it.

"Five master titles in one person?"

The Dean looked at Andre and couldn’t help but sway on his feet.

One had to understand that becoming a master in even one discipline was already incredibly difficult.

Because to become a master, one had to face countless trials and tests.

And now, Andre held the title of master in five disciplines. Even the Casting Science he denied might be at the master level as well!

By that count, it would be six master titles in one.

A person with six master titles was a peculiar case in the Wizard World—both rare and not so rare.

This was because some Wizards, after becoming Morning Stars and attaining incredibly long lifespans, would revisit these disciplines and slowly hone their skills over time.

But for Andre, from being a mortal to entering the academy until now, only thirty-seven years had passed.

Thirty-seven years to study the entire Demon Pattern Encyclopedia for three stages, minor in four disciplines, and reach the level of master.

And that wasn’t all. He had even forged his own path.

He had continuously advanced along this path he carved out for himself, going from a mortal to a Level 3 Wizard in thirty-seven years, and had even opened the way to becoming a Morning Star Wizard.

Any other person who accomplished even two or three of these achievements in thirty-seven years would already be considered a top-tier genius.

Just achieving the title of master was enough to make many people toil for decades, or even centuries.

Not to mention, among all of Andre’s accomplishments, the most difficult was forging his own path and reaching the rank of a Level 3 Wizard.

This achievement was something that perhaps the core descendants of the Wizard Towers in the Wizard Ancestral Land could possibly accomplish.

But they could absolutely never do it in just thirty-seven years.

And yet Andre had accomplished all of these things within those thirty-seven years.

Not only had he accomplished them, but Andre had also been patient enough not to reveal his achievements.

This temperament, this mentality, was practically unparalleled in this age.

"Tell me the truth. Who were you in your past life?"

The Dean looked at Andre, rubbing the bridge of his nose, then asked the question that was on his mind.

He believed that Andre must be the Soul reincarnation of some old monster to have achieved all this in a mere thirty-seven years.

"What? What past life?"

Andre looked at the Dean, his face a picture of ignorance.

"Stop pretending. You’ve already accomplished so much, and you’re still putting on an act?"

The Dean looked at Andre, thinking that he still had some reservations.

"What act? What past life?"

Andre was a bit baffled. ’I don’t remember reincarnation being a thing in this world, is it?’

Seeing that Andre was still refusing to admit his identity, Dean Dong raised his hands, formed a hand seal, and chanted an incantation, making a gesture over Andre’s forehead.

Then, a cluster of purple flames appeared between Andre’s eyebrows.

’The flame of his Soul shows no trace of history... Does this mean Andre doesn’t have a past life?’

The Dean stared wide-eyed at this flame of the Soul, which pulsed with vigorous life and showed no trace of a history.

"This...?" The Dean looked at the flame of the Soul, stunned for a moment.

So, Andre really wasn’t the reincarnation of an old monster!

He was a new monster!
