Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth
Chapter 308 - 309: Opening the Path to Morning Star Wizard
Chapter 308: Chapter 309: Opening the Path to Morning Star Wizard
The Captain stared at the Dean in astonishment.
"What do you plan to do next? Continue on expeditions to other worlds, stay in this one, or return to the academy?"
The Dean frowned, continuously studying the Banner of Dusk in his hand while also asking for Andre’s opinion.
"Asking me that, you must already have a plan for me, don’t you?"
Andre looked at the Dean, understanding what was on his mind.
"Mm. Originally, I planned for you to join the expeditions, but you are simply too important to the Main Institute. So important that we cannot afford to lose you."
"So, personally, I want you to return to the academy and enter some Secret Realms for secluded cultivation."
The Dean nodded, explaining his thoughts regarding Andre.
"You can come out when you’ve grown into a Morning Star, or even a Moonlight."
The moment the Dean said this, the few people standing near him stared with wide eyes.
This kind of treatment was reserved only for the Dean’s successor.
’Is the Dean planning to groom Andre as his new successor?’
"Morning Star, hmm..." Andre looked at the Dean, his expression turning odd.
"What is it?" The Dean looked up at Andre, who seemed to have a difficult expression.
"Actually, as for the Morning Star Realm... I can break through whenever I want!"
Andre said, looking at the Dean.
"Huh?" Hearing this, the Dean couldn’t help but blink, looking at Andre with an expression of utter disbelief.
"What are you talking about?" The Captain was also a bit numb from the shock.
Although the Captain already knew from the Dean that Andre had been blessed by the Wizard Civilization Will...
...a blessing was a blessing, and breaking through to a new Realm was a different matter entirely.
Besides, this was the breakthrough from a Level 3 Wizard to a Morning Star Wizard—the point where a Wizard truly began to transcend humanity.
The difficulty of this single step was greater than the combined difficulty of breaking through all the way from an Elementary Wizard Apprentice to a Level 3 Wizard.
And Andre was saying he could break through whenever he wanted?
’What kind of damn joke is this?’
"Are you serious?"
The Dean saw a searching look on Andre’s face. Andre looked at the Dean and nodded.
"Right now, I just need to supplement my knowledge with some books on time, space, and the Soul, and I can break through to become a Morning Star Wizard at any moment."
Andre held out his hand. Wisps of gray mist slowly seeped from his palm. Then, the gray mist condensed into liquid, which compressed continuously until it became a single speck of dust.
Then, the speck of dust suddenly exploded, forming an illusion.
When this illusion shattered, the expressions of the Dean and the Captain changed drastically in an instant.
Because as the illusion shattered, they both felt an extremely faint, yet distinct, flash of the Power of the World.
"Power of the World... Dean, can a Child of the World master the Power of the World?"
The Captain asked the Dean. At that moment, he felt that calling Andre a monster wasn’t an exaggeration, but a simple descriptor.
Andre really was a monster.
"They can, but that’s using this world’s Power of the World by virtue of their position as a Child of the World. But the flash of Power of the World that just appeared... HISS!"
At this moment, the corners of the Dean’s mouth twitched continuously as he looked at Andre.
He could clearly feel that the Power of the World that had just appeared and vanished was generated by Andre himself.
This was equivalent to Andre having already cleared the path to becoming a Morning Star Wizard.
He just needed to flood himself with resources, and Andre could become a Morning Star Wizard.
’Since when was becoming a Morning Star Wizard this easy?’
The Dean looked at Andre, extremely troubled.
He had never encountered a situation like this before.
Andre, however, remained silent. In truth, he knew how he had managed to clear the path to becoming a Morning Star Wizard.
The reason lay in the cycle represented by the Möbius Ring.
As mentioned before, Andre had always used the part of his Chaos Magic Power that symbolized creation.
He rarely used the part that represented destruction.
But rarely using it didn’t mean it didn’t exist.
Destruction was a crucial part of Chaos Magic Power, but that alone wasn’t enough for Andre to clear the path to becoming a Morning Star Wizard.
The real reason was the cycle.
Each time his Chaos Magic Power cycled between creation and destruction, new matter and new Elements were born in the process.
And this speed was extremely fast. How fast?
A full cycle was completed for every ten beats of Andre’s heart.
This speed allowed Andre to grasp the structure of many kinds of matter and many Elements.
Originally, Andre wouldn’t have been able to do this, but he had the irresistible advantage of a world’s consciousness willingly opening itself to him, allowing him to enter the World Origin Space and absorb the Power of World Origin wantonly.
The Power of World Origin and Chaos Magic Power were two sides of the same coin.
They could be converted into one another, and both could be used to derive all things in existence.
At first, Andre only had Chaos Magic Power in his body and had no idea how to derive all things in existence, let alone an entire world.
After fusing with the Power of World Origin, the missing part of the Power within Andre’s body was completed.
Thus, Andre became able to use his Chaos Magic Power to derive all sorts of powers and all sorts of Elements within his body.
Through these Elements, he glimpsed the knowledge required to create a world.
And the most important step in breaking through from a Level 3 Wizard to a Morning Star Great Wizard is creating one’s own world and then supporting it with one’s Soul.
Furthermore, thanks to his Child of the World Talent, Andre gained a deeper understanding of the derivation process of the Power of the World.
As a result, Andre had a very clear understanding of how to create a world.
The only issues were that his Soul wasn’t strong enough, he didn’t understand the Soul well enough, and he hadn’t mastered the other two important components of a world.
One was space, and the other was time. These two components determine a world’s breadth and depth.
Otherwise, if he had mastered all this knowledge back then, he would have likely broken through directly to Morning Star when he became a Level 3 Wizard.
"What am I supposed to say to that?"
The Dean’s mouth twitched continuously, a bitter smile on his face.
"Although Wizards who receive the blessing of the Wizard Civilization Will are usually beings capable of rewriting the status quo of the Wizard World..."
"...isn’t Andre a bit too off the charts?"
"It hasn’t been long since he became a Level 3 Wizard, and he’s already cleared the path to becoming a Morning Star Wizard."
For a moment, the Dean didn’t know how to describe Andre.
