Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth
Chapter 300 - 301: Power in Hand
Chapter 300: Chapter 301: Power in Hand
"The Institute wants conquest, not extermination. If we keep fighting like this, the World Will is going to turn on us. I’ll be fine, but the Institute’s plan will fall through."
Andre said to Farrete after knocking down a few of the leaders.
Farrete, however, looked at Andre with a wary expression.
"Andre, do you have any idea what you’re saying?"
Farrete asked Andre in a low voice.
The Cosmic Sea World hadn’t even been conquered by the Institute yet, and here Andre was, already siding with them. If anyone else found out, they would definitely cause trouble for him.
"Of course I know what I’m saying. The Institute’s previous orders were to conquer this world, not to exterminate every race in it."
Andre said to Farrete with a sense of resignation.
At that moment, Andre was perfectly clear about what he was doing.
In fact, throughout the history of the Wizard World, most worlds ruled and conquered by the Wizard Civilization were assimilated. This was done by spreading the Wizard common tongue and teaching their unique ways, gradually integrating the native races into the Wizard Civilization.
He was just following that same procedure now!
"If you think there’s a problem with my orders, you can send a message to the War Mother Ship right now and ask what their stance is on the races in this world."
Andre said to Farrete, his voice laced with resignation.
As a Wizard himself, he naturally didn’t want to give this order.
After all, it was the kind of thing that would get him bad-mouthed behind his back.
But the Cosmic Sea World was different from other worlds. Its World Will was very active.
Previously, the World Will had created a Child of the World to fight the Wizard Civilization to the death.
Now, with his arrival, the Cosmic Sea World had given the position of Child of the World to him. At the same time, benefiting from the Chaos Magic Power within him, the Cosmic Sea World’s World Will had undergone a transformation. Compared to before, it now possessed a hint of true sentience.
Under these circumstances, the World Will would never allow the Institute to exterminate all the races in its world.
If that happened, the World Will would definitely retaliate with abandon.
Even with the Dean and his Grandmaster here, it would be difficult to resist.
A Level 5 World could give birth to a being at the Red Sun Grand Wizard Level. If the World Will truly went all out, even at the cost of depleting the Cosmic Sea World’s foundations, the Institute wouldn’t gain much of an advantage.
The Dean and his Grandmaster might be able to block the World Will’s attacks, but could anyone else?
At that point, everyone in this world, aside from the Dean, his Grandmaster, and a few Moonlights, would die at the hands of the World Will.
In this situation, the Institute had to integrate these races, to make them one with the Institute.
"Alright then, I’ll send a message and ask?"
Farrete was also unsure of the mothership’s stance, so he could only fly back to his Star Realm Battleship and send a message to the War Mother Ship.
"Sigh." Andre sighed as he watched Farrete’s retreating figure.
’Sometimes, you can’t truly understand the feeling of something until you experience it firsthand. Just like right now.’
After sighing, Andre made a casual gesture. A few leaders who had been sneaking up behind him were instantly pressed to the ground.
"See clearly who I am."
After pinning the leaders to the ground, Andre turned around. Facing the Racial Alliance Army before him, he revealed the Crown insignia between his eyebrows.
The moment the Crown insignia appeared, an immense Power of the World descended upon the Racial Alliance Army.
With the descent of this Power of the World, the Racial Alliance Army finally recognized who Andre, the man standing before them, truly was.
"He’s the newly born Child of the World! Why is he siding with the enemies invading our world?!"
As the members of the Racial Alliance Army saw the Crown on Andre’s forehead, a wave of murmurs broke out.
"Quiet! This is the moment your fate is decided!"
Hearing the murmurs, Andre felt a surge of irritation. Finally, he addressed the Racial Alliance Army.
As Andre spoke, the Power of the World sealed the mouths of everyone in the Racial Alliance Army.
’I was already annoyed, and now they’re just making things worse!’
At that moment, Andre’s frustration turned to rage, and he was looking for an outlet!
As Andre filled with rage, the air around him began to scorch. Flames rose and heatwaves danced.
Aboard the Star Realm Battleship, Farrete relayed Andre’s words to the War Mother Ship.
The captain handed a piece of paper to the Dean. After reading it, the Dean smiled and waved his hand, and the paper bearing the message turned to ash.
"No one is born a decision-maker. All decision-makers are forged by fighting their way through one tangled mess after another."
The Dean said to the captain with a smile.
"What do you mean, sir?" The captain didn’t quite understand what the Dean meant.
Although Andre had become the Child of the World for the Cosmic Sea World, there was no need for the Dean to have such high expectations for him.
"There are some things you haven’t experienced, so of course, you wouldn’t understand."
The Dean said to the captain with a smile.
"Send the reply. From now on, Andre is in charge of everything in the Cosmic Sea World."
When the Dean said this, everyone, including the captain, turned to look at him in astonishment.
"Dean, this is no small matter. You’re just going to let Andre call the shots?"
The captain blinked at the Dean, half-doubting what he had just heard him say.
"Of course," the Dean replied, nodding at the captain.
"But... why?!"
The captain grew anxious. He had followed the Dean for so long and had never received such treatment. How could Andre get it just like that?
"I’ll tell you why." Seeing the captain’s anxious look, the Dean beckoned him closer.
Puzzled, the captain leaned his head toward the Dean.
The Dean then whispered a few words to the captain.
As the Dean finished speaking, the puzzled look on the captain’s face instantly turned to shock.
"Is that true?"
The captain struggled to suppress his astonishment as he looked at the Dean.
"I saw it with my own eyes. And thanks to him, I, too, have received the attention of the great Wizard Civilization Will."
The Dean smiled and nodded at the captain.
"Hiss... In that case, we should go with Andre’s opinion. After all, the great Wizard Civilization Will has never made a mistake!"
The captain looked at the Dean and stated his new opinion, his change of heart happening in the blink of an eye.
