Chapter 1906 1906: Cap 1902: Elza
Pov Cortana:
I stood with my Sister in front of a Origin Beast. Its appearance was that of a centaur, its upper body a light blue woman wearing a gray cloak, and its lower body a lean white wolf.
On its back was tied something large, a book whose crystal cover depicted a tree that grows from a seed, ages into a large tree, and dies, rotting, before a new seed emerges, repeating the cycle.
This was Elza, a new Origin Beast, a few centuries old. Her emotional intelligence, thirst for knowledge, and wisdom of her surroundings were natural from birth. She studied Life and Death for 100 years, Reincarnation for 20 years, and traveled between various universes, studying alongside Gods and Demons for 280 years before encountering several Entities who didn’t attack her without reason.
“I don’t know if I should say ‘I’m happy to see you again’ or if I should say ‘nice to meet you’…” (Lena)
“You are new beings in every sense; you simply inherited your memories, giving you a starting point with more knowledge and wisdom.” (Elza)
“We understand that, but it’s not that simple. We are more emotional than Life and Death. In our minds, we’ve known you your entire life, taught you, and watched you develop, yet this is our first time meeting you in person.” (Me)
Her expression of surprise at my words makes sense. She knows that Life and Death are not affected by emotions, which my words, as well as my sister’s actions, show that we are different, which was our intention to show her sincerely.
“Yes, you may be right, so allow us to begin the introductions…” (Elza)
“Elza, I am Elza, Origin Beast of Magic, scholar of existence, and Keeper of the Blank Grimoire.” (Me)
I look once more at the Grimoire on her back. It’s different from what it once was, a gift given by Death and Life. Its power never existed. It was merely a test for this child, a vessel that would grow with her and become her own Origin Artifact. What that book has become now reflects her travels and understanding of life.
“Reincarnation appeared to me and told me about you, so I came here right away. It took me weeks, but here I am.” (Elza)
“I am Lena, the Entity of Rebirth, daughter of Vida and Zenos, the current Bringer of Chaos, and sister of Cortana.” (Lena)
“I am Cortana, the Entity of Death’s Nurture, daughter of Death and Zenos, the future Entity of Chaos, and sister of Lena.” (me)
“I understand…” (Elza)
She nods as if she grasps the meaning behind our words. Her wisdom has truly increased greatly, and her former naivety is no longer present. Fortunately, she has fully grown.
“Lena…?” (me)
“They’re still fighting, they’re doing splendidly.” (Lena)
Lena closes her eyes as she checks the situation of our Avatars. Her enemy was the Avatar of Greed. His attack power isn’t the best, but his ability to achieve what he desires is a good experience for the growth of those two who still don’t fully understand our Concepts.
After confirming those two, my eyes turn to Elza. She seems to be here for genuine reasons; it seems she hasn’t changed much from the image we have in our memory.
“Why are you here, Elza?” (me)
“To learn. Your Concept coincides more with my interests in studies, and I’m also interested in the power of Chaos and its implications.” (Elza)
“How did you get in here?” (Lena)
“This universe wouldn’t allow you to enter without notifying us or Zenos.” (Lena)
“I didn’t know it was necessary, I just walked in directly. It was easy to sense two Reality Power frequencies. Knowing how systematic the Ascendants are, I chose the second Reality Power trait to use as a Target, activating my teleportation. That’s how I got here.” (Elza)
“He hasn’t noticed me yet. I’m suppressing my Aura and presence. I didn’t know this universe had gained sentience. It was truly a spectacular surprise.” (Elza)
“I advise you to accompany us and not interfere with the others until you have Zenos’s approval. This universe belongs to him.” (Me)
“I don’t care.” (Elza)
My eyes move directly to the crescent-shaped earrings made of bone and red crystal. They seem to contain traces of chaotic power. Then I look at the necklace, which was a metal pendant with a crystal inscription in the shape of a wolf, which also possesses a different chaotic power than the earrings.
Lena must have felt it too. Their presence in her possession is strange. The necklace has always been with her, given to her by Death as an item that belonged to the first Chaos Bringer. But those earrings are different. Their presence is faint, yet they resemble the oldest Chaos Artifacts, even though they aren’t one of them. They seem more like an object forged with the power of Chaos, not nearly as good as a Source Artifact.
“Where did you get the earrings?” (Me)
“I bought them from one of the Merchant’s Avatars; anything with the power of Chaos is always welcome.” (Elza)
“I see. Now come, I must introduce you to two beings who weren’t pleased that they couldn’t sense your presence here.” (Lena)
“(She’s hiding something from us.)” (me)
“(I know, but she doesn’t seem to be lying in what she’s revealed so far.)” (Lena)
“(I’ll take her to Freya. She’s better at reading people’s character than we are. Elza’s strength isn’t that great either. In the unlikely event that she turns out to be an enemy, any of us can easily handle her.)” (Lena)
“(Very well, but pay attention; she must have realized we’re analyzing her.)” (me)
It was clear to both of us that something was wrong. Elza wouldn’t get involved in a game between the Entities like this universe, especially with the number of Entities present here. She dislikes conflict and values peace above all else. It would be impossible to get here without realizing what she was getting into, which implies a strong motivation triggered by an unknown motive.
With these thoughts, we kept an eye on her as we took her to Freya. She didn’t seem to care or change her mind, but I won’t let these suspicions rest until I find out what she’s hiding.

Pov Sarazar:
At the beginning of the battle, long before Zenos defeated the Titan of Taint.
Lolth and I were facing the Avatar of Greed. Surrounding us were a Dragon with metallic scales, each forged into a Divine Artifact, a 10-kilometer-tall Titan made of miasma, a Zombie Undead made of hundreds of God body parts fused into a powerful Corpse God, a Cursed Fairy born from the refining of billions of Fairies, and the living castle, an Artifact of Ghost Origin.
We were outnumbered, and that’s what that old man must have been thinking, but I was happy, and Lolth was raging. I’ve never had a better opportunity to use my power than this.
“You should surrender yourselves, and perhaps I, the great Phanoth, could negotiate a price for your release.” (Phanoth)
“Is he serious?” (Lolth)
“So it seems.” (Me)
“You two don’t understand your position. One command from me is all it takes for you to be destroyed.” (Phanoth)
Snap
He snaps his fingers, and the castle shifts several parts of its structure, revealing a room with a large crystal containing an absurd amount of power. There were also magical circles spinning around it. I don’t know much about magic; the ancient Sarazar studied it little, and I haven’t had time to conduct my own study yet.
“These around are my collection, at least a small part of the collection that I know isn’t enough to fight an Avatar, no matter how weak. Still, they’re a good distraction.” (Phanoth)
“(That crystal holds a lot of stored power, but it’s just a way to store it and not use it.)” (Lolth)
“(The castle has trillions of Souls within its structure; every brick in that castle seems to contain hundreds of Souls.)” (Sarazar)
“(That energy is the real bait.)” (Sarazar)
“I’ll take care of him, and you take care of everyone else.” (Lolth)
“Deal.” (me)
“You think you can fight me? Fools…” (Phanoth)
“< Origin Ritual: Releasing the Limiter >” (Phanoth)
AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!
RRROOOAAAAARRRRR!!!!
All the creatures, including his castle, began to let out bone-chilling screams and roars. The power of the crystal he displayed vanished while the castle reformed into a fortress-like Golem. Everyone else’s bodies were reduced by 30% to 50%.
“You think I don’t know about you? Two new Avatars who serve the new Entities… I know about you and knew you would be on the side of the Bringer of Chaos.” (Phanoth)
“(His arrogance is exactly as Cortana said.)” (me)
“(He’s very old and thinks he knows a lot, but let’s be quick. We still have to help Ronan and Zenos; their enemies seem worse than ours.)” (Lolth)
Yes, that Demon clearly possesses the power of Concept and the Avatar of Hatred is unknown, we must not prolong this battle, especially when there are still enemies lurking.
