White Dragon Lord

Chapter 451: The Titans' Revenge

  • Next Chapter

Beneath the starry sky, the White Dragon Lord gazed down at the scarred Monkenado Titan World.

Having endured the bombardment of the Dimensional Annihilation Cannon and served as a chaotic battlefield for Abomination Rank powerhouses, the Monkenado Titan World was severely damaged. A colossal crater dominated the center of the continent where the mantle had been pierced, leaving cooled lava solidified at its depths.

Around the crater, dozens of bottomless fissures tore across the land. Rivers poured into these chasms, leaving their old beds dry, and every bird and beast had died out.

"Amos, we've run into a tough nut to crack." The Ancient Gold Dragon's plea for help interrupted the White Dragon Lord's thoughts.

"Felicia, Willy, Elena, go support the Dragon Legion. There are still Titans in this world putting up a stubborn resistance," the White Dragon Lord transmitted to his dragon brother and sisters. "Take three floating towers with you."

"Understood!" the three replied in unison.

Standing amid the roaring gales, the White Dragon Lord watched the distant earth. The Dragon Legion and the monster army were ravaging this world, driving every Titan and giant to extinction.

Though they occasionally met resistance, it was quickly crushed by the powerhouses who rushed to the scene. In the White Dragon Lord's Soul Sight, an endless stream of Titan and giant souls drifted up into the sky.

"Speed up, all forces! I want to see your results before the sun rises!"

The White Dragon Lord's command echoed in the ears of the various legion commanders, and the army immediately accelerated its pace. He returned to the Floating City; trivial matters like clearing out the interior of a plane could be left to his subordinates.

Time flew by. The sun revealed a sliver of itself in the eastern sky, casting golden sunlight across the devastated land.

By now, not a single intact Titan city remained in the Monkenado Titan World, though a few Titans still hid in the deep mountains and ancient forests.

The great sweep began!

In the sky, the Dragon Legion formed groups of five, patrolling the heavens within the plane. On the ground, gnolls drove hyenas to search through the jungles, while floating towers streaked across the sky from time to time.

The hiding Titans were dragged out one by one and slaughtered beneath the iron and blood-stained blades of the Yafeiawei Empire.

Three days later, there was not a single living Titan left in the entire Monkenado Titan World. The army began a carpet-style plundering of the whole world.

The main force of this plunder was the Dragon Legion. Thanks to the dragons' acute sense for treasure, the vast majority of the wealth in this large material plane was gathered up and transported into the Floating City.

The White Dragon Lord calculated the spoils of this war. He discovered that even after deducting the rewards for the army, the net profit was five times the total net worth of the Yafeiawei Empire.

And this was without counting the value of the plane itself. If this large material plane could be sold, the profit would double again, almost enough to pay off all his debts.

However, no one would dare take over this plane at the moment. The reason was simple: the White Dragon Lord had just recently conquered it, and Titan powerhouses might come looking for revenge. Right now, this plane was a hot potato.

But once this war between the dragons and the Titans ended, the White Dragon Lord estimated that many factions would be interested in this large material plane.

Large organizations like the Nordhill Guardian Council needed material planes. First, they could be used for immigration, and second, they could serve as cultivation bases for raw materials.

Deities wouldn't complain about having too many material planes either. A plane capable of supporting biological life was an excellent place to "raise" believers, and a large material plane put up for sale was something barely seen once in ten thousand years.

Therefore, the Monkenado Titan World would still be in high demand.

But the prerequisite was that the White Dragon Lord had to hold onto this plane until the war ended.

The White Dragon Lord used the Floating City to oversee the Monkenado Titan World, simultaneously ordering the artisans of the Yafeiawei Empire to rebuild the Magic Tower Defense System.

While the Monkenado Titan World was bustling with frenzied activity, several major events unfolded across the multiverse.

The Star Titan was besieged by the Dragon Race, completely enraging the Titans of the Rootless City. The Titans in the city mobilized en masse, scouting for news of the dragons and launching offensives. They eventually encountered the dragons of the Obsidian Sanctuary, and the two sides erupted into several massive battles in the Star Realm.

Aside from the war in the Star Realm, the Titans also launched retaliatory strikes against the Dragon Race. Several dragon planes were attacked. Unwilling to show weakness, the Dragon Race—led by Abomination Rank dragons—launched their own revenge operations against the Titans.

Even Mount Celestia, renowned for its peace and beauty, saw several small-scale skirmishes break out. The main combatants were the dragon forces of the Northern Temple and the Titan forces of Glory Fort.

One day, while the White Dragon Lord was researching magic in the Floating City, the Five-Headed Dragon Queen suddenly descended in an avatar.

"Amos, the Senedar Dragon World is being invaded by Titans. The leader of the invading Titans is your old rival—Sindona, Mother of Lightning. The Dragon Race needs you."

After leaving behind the planar coordinates, the avatar of the Five-Headed Dragon Queen vanished.

The White Dragon Lord raised a brow. The Five-Headed Dragon Queen delivering a message in person conveyed three pieces of information.

First, she needed the White Dragon Lord to help the Senedar Dragon World, which amounted to a plea for aid.

Second, the fact that the Five-Headed Dragon Queen had to ask him for help proved that she had no spare Abomination Rank combatants under her command.

Third, lacking any spare Abomination Rank fighters meant she had committed all her forces to the Abyss Battlefield. The Dark Titans had likely done the same, meaning the war in the abyss had reached a fever pitch.

"You take some people and make a trip there. I will continue to hold down the fort in this world," the White Dragon Lord transmitted to his clone. "If you find a chance to butcher her, I will rush over immediately."

"Understood. I will lead the Dragon Legion into battle."

Elsewhere, the White Dragon Lord's clone rallied the Dragon Legion and called upon his dragon brother and sisters. The multitude of dragons teleported together to the Senedar Dragon World.

The moment they entered the plane's interior, the White Dragon Lord saw lightning flashing across the sky and numerous flying Titans hunting down the native dragons of this world.

Several Storm Titans were grinning savagely as they chased a bronze dragon. Suddenly, they saw the space ripple, followed closely by a massive white dragon appearing in the plane's sky along with tens of thousands of other dragons. Terrified, they instantly turned and fled.

The White Dragon Lord looked at the fleeing Titans and rapidly chanted a spell. Several ice spears shot toward the Titans' exposed backs. The legendary ice spears pierced straight through the Titans' chests and continued flying into the distant sky.

For an Abomination Rank clone of the White Dragon Lord, dealing with ordinary Legendary Rank Titans was no different from slaughtering chickens.

The White Dragon Lord looked toward the distant sky. There was a violent aura of lightning there. He would never forget that lightning aura; after all, it had been his closest brush with death since stepping into the Abomination Rank.

"Divide into small groups. Purge the Titans inside this plane and gather the survivors." After issuing combat orders to the dragon army, the White Dragon Lord turned back to his dragon brother and sisters. "I leave the tough nuts to you guys."

"As you command!"

The White Dragon Lord flew toward that familiar aura, and that familiar aura was also flying toward him.

It didn't take long for the White Dragon Lord and the Mother of Lightning to meet high in the sky.

When enemies met, their eyes blazed with hatred.

The two great Abomination Rank powerhouses stared each other down high in the air, clashing with their sheer imposing auras. One radiated endless frigid air from within, freezing the moisture in the atmosphere into frost that drifted down like fine snowflakes.

The other was wreathed in crackling lightning. Electricity danced like silver snakes, filling the air with the pungent, ionized scent of ozone.

Frigid air and lightning each claimed half the sky. Down on the ground, creatures felt a bone-piercing chill on one side and a paralyzing numbness on the other.

Sensing the insurmountable auras of these powerhouses, the surrounding dragons and Titans quickly backed away from the area, lest they become innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire.

"I heard you organized the siege against His Majesty Sinzela. With just this level of skill?" The Mother of Lightning felt somewhat puzzled. The White Dragon Lord before her was only equal in strength to herself, completely contradicting the intelligence reports.

Naturally, the White Dragon Lord was not about to tell her that the one standing before her was merely a clone.

"This level of mine is more than enough to deal with you!"

With that, the White Dragon Lord launched his attack. Spells flew rapidly from his lips, and at the same time, the voice of the soul echoed out.

Hearing the chanting and the soul voice simultaneously, the Mother of Lightning's expression grew solemn. Even though she had prepared multiple pieces of magical equipment to protect her soul, she still had no confidence in facing Soul Magic, the most bizarre magic in the multiverse.

The White Dragon Lord finished his spell first. Ice-blue magical energy coalesced around him, wrapping him up like a thick fog.

Legendary magic—Frost of the Misty Marsh!

Frost of the Misty Marsh boasted excellent defensive capabilities along with crowd-control effects. This legendary magic could drain an enemy's stamina, continuously whittling down the Mother of Lightning to build an advantage, while also cutting off her line of sight to protect himself.

Guide of Heavenly Thunder!

Pitch-black clouds formed in front of the Mother of Lightning, where leaping bolts of electricity looked like silver snakes. A massive bolt of lightning blasted toward the White Dragon Lord, illuminating the entire sky.

The White Dragon Lord instantly cast several Ice Shields, blocking the lightning's path.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Like a spear piercing through bucklers, gaping holes were blasted through the centers of the Ice Shields one after another. It wasn't until the final shield was struck that the lightning finally dissipated.

Seeing this, the Mother of Lightning's heart grew heavy as her thoughts raced. This white dragon's control over magic was simply sublime. She wasn't naive enough to believe it was a mere coincidence that the final shield stopped the lightning. This was the enemy's calculation, designed to neutralize her attack at the absolute lowest cost.

First, the White Dragon Lord had to rely on his sheer visual judgment to determine the intensity of the lightning strike. Then, he had to calculate the exact number of shields needed to block it, and instantly cast just enough Ice Shields before the lightning hit him. The difficulty of doing all this was easy to imagine.

A chill ran through the Mother of Lightning's heart. Had she not sworn a venomous oath, she truly wouldn't want to face such a terrifying foe.

Meanwhile, the White Dragon Lord's Soul Magic was completed.

Master Tier Soul Magic—Soul-Perishing Needle!

A formless, traceless needle of soul energy shot toward the Mother of Lightning. If she hadn't been constantly on guard against the White Dragon Lord's Soul Magic, she really might not have noticed it. She dodged just in time, slipping out of the Soul-Perishing Needle's path of attack.

The two Abomination Rank powerhouses fought to a standstill in the sky, but on the Legendary Rank battlefield, the situation was completely one-sided.

The dragon army was entirely made up of graduates from the Dragon Academy. After joining the Dragon Legion, they had drilled extensively in squad-based combat. They knew how to coordinate, using their own strengths to cover their teammates' weaknesses before executing tactical strikes against the enemy.

The Titans, fighting as isolated individuals, could only scatter and flee before the united dragon squads. But not everyone could escape. Once the Dragon Legion realized the enemy was trying to run, they would pick out the most valuable targets to besiege, leaving them to die a miserable death under the dragon fire.

When they encountered a High-Tier Legendary Level tough nut, the five-dragon squads would adopt a defensive posture while calling in their own powerhouses for support.

High-Tier Legendary Rank Titans who attacked the dragon squads would be shocked to find these dragons cooperating flawlessly, making it impossible to take them down anytime soon.

And once the three dragons arrived, even the most rampant Titan would have to flee in a panic. The three dragons had killed over a thousand Titans on the Abyss Battlefield, including double digits of High-Tier Legendary Rank Titans. Their blood-forged infamy struck terror into the hearts of their enemies.

While fighting the Titans, the dragon army also gathered the surviving dragons of this plane.

The Senedar Dragon World was a medium material plane. There were no humans or other intelligent races here, so the Dragon Race lived quite comfortably, with over 30,000 dragons residing in it.

It had to be known that Nordhill, despite being a giant material plane, only had ten to twenty thousand dragons.

But the Dragon Race lived a bit too comfortably in this plane, resulting in a severe lack of powerhouses. Of the only three High-Tier Legendary dragons, just one remained after the Mother of Lightning's relentless hunt.

With the Dragon Race holding a comprehensive advantage, the dragon survivors joined the fray under the leadership of that last remaining High-Tier Legendary dragon, rapidly accelerating the Titans' defeat.

Receiving the news of their losing battle from her subordinates, the Mother of Lightning felt deeply anxious. However, with the White Dragon Lord constantly pestering her, there was nothing she could do.

Finally, after several hours of combat, the Mother of Lightning managed to shake off the White Dragon Lord at the cost of a minor injury. She tore open space and drilled into the endless spatial turbulence.

"Consider yourself fast." The White Dragon Lord didn't give chase, because even if he caught up, there was nothing he could do to the Mother of Lightning.

His clone's Soul Magic was far inferior to his main body's, and without powerful equipment like the Floating City, killing the Mother of Lightning in a one-on-one fight was unrealistic.

As for summoning his main body, he thought about it and dismissed the idea. The Magic Tower Defense System in the Monkenado Titan World was still under construction, and that place was still a land of humiliation for the Titans. Countless eyes were fixed on that plane. If they lost the oversight of the White Dragon Lord's main body and the Titans seized the opportunity, the consequences would be unthinkable.

After waiting a while, the White Dragon Lord watched the dragon army return to formation, accompanied by a massive flock of native dragons.

"Reporting to the Legion Commander: we annihilated 542 enemies in this battle. Zero dragons died on our side; we had eight severe injuries and sixty-four minor injuries."

The White Dragon Lord nodded in satisfaction. It was impossible not to be proud of such combat results.

The deputy commander of the Dragon Legion, Willy, continued to report: "We've gathered 24,323 survivors, and there are still some hiding within the plane."

"How many dragons did this world lose?"

"So far, we've tallied 432 dead. If we count those whose bodies haven't been found yet, the estimate will be even higher."

The White Dragon Lord looked toward the sole High-Tier Legendary Rank dragon among the survivors. It was an Ancient Dragon level Copper Dragon.

At this moment, the Copper Dragon was sweeping a complicated gaze over the orderly Dragon Legion around it. Sensing the White Dragon Lord's gaze, the Copper Dragon turned its head, glanced at the White Dragon Lord, and hurriedly lowered its head.

Then, gritting its teeth, it flew toward the White Dragon Lord's direction.
