Chapter 1277: Xi Pretending to Be Pitiful

Zhou Chengchen woke up naturally, already late, stretched comfortably, opened his eyes, saw the still unfamiliar surroundings, and paused slightly before immediately realizing what was going on.

He looked back at the empty space next to him, sat up, and looked at the spot where someone had obviously slept. Zhou Chengchen leaned his head on his knees, a bit lost in thought.

She had clearly just come back to accompany her brother to watch a game, so how did she end up in Xi Siyan’s bed?

After washing up, she went downstairs wearing Xi Siyan’s large slippers and immediately saw the man sitting on the living room sofa, white shirt, black trousers, the whole body exuding an ascetic vibe.

Xi Siyan had a laptop on his lap, heard the commotion, looked over in the direction of the stairs, and immediately set the laptop aside.

"Awake? Breakfast?"

She picked up a dumpling and popped it into her mouth, mumbling as she ate, "I’m going home today."

"Okay, should I go with you?"

"Fast?"

Xi Siyan frowned.

"Yeah, we just got back together, and you want to meet the parents? Too fast."

Xi Siyan frowned even deeper, "What’s fast about it? I’ve been waiting three years."

Xi Siyan’s face remained calm, yet in his eyes appeared the same aggrieved look as yesterday.

Yesterday, Zhou Chengchen had only cared about softening her heart and hadn’t thought much, and now seeing the aggrieved expression again, Zhou Chengchen had an epiphany, was this guy purposely pretending to be aggrieved here?

Of course, not wanting Xi Siyan to come back with her now wasn’t really because of things being too fast; rationally, she did feel they were moving fast, but emotionally, she didn’t feel that way at all.

But looking at Xi Siyan’s appearance, Zhou Chengchen eventually softened, reached out and squeezed Xi Siyan’s hand, "How about I don’t go back today, I’ll go back tomorrow, and we go buy some stuff today?"

"Shopping?"

"Some daily necessities."
