Chapter 789: Chapter 788: He’s Been Kicked Out of the House? (2)
Did I just get charmed by the Boss’s charisma?
Special Assistant Lawson held his chest, silently chanting in his mind.
I like women! I like women! I only like women!
Damian Sinclair left the company to go pick up people at Sharon Cheney’s house.
Talia was playing the latest violin piece she learned when the doorbell rang.
Sharon went to open the door and was momentarily stunned when she saw Damian Sinclair outside, "President Sinclair, why are you here so early?"
"I got off work early since there wasn’t much to do." Damian Sinclair casually changed into a pair of slippers at the entrance and walked into the living room, commenting.
At the company, the busy-as-a-dog Special Assistant Lawson suddenly sneezed loudly. The secretary next to him, who was reporting work, asked concernedly, "Special Assistant Lawson, are you catching a cold? You should buy some medicine."
"I’m fine, just a sudden itch in my nose. So busy, there’s no time to buy medicine. Explain this part to me in detail again, and I’ll make a note to report to the Boss tomorrow."
While Special Assistant Lawson was busy as a dog, President Sinclair leisurely sat in the living room listening to the little girl play the violin.
After the song finished, the little girl held her violin and gave a formal bow.
Bella Acker, Damian Sinclair, and Sharon Cheney all applauded her.
"Our Talia is amazing," Sharon praised.
Bella Acker nodded with a smile, "She can remember so many scores, I wonder how much she can store in her brain."
The little girl put away the violin, beamed, and squeezed next to Damian Sinclair, saying, "Mommy’s also great at memorizing scripts, she can remember so many words."
"Little flatterer." Bella Acker laughed as she gently pinched her nose.
Damian Sinclair picked the little girl up and settled her on his lap, "Mommy and Talia are both amazing."
"Hehe, Daddy’s the big flatterer." The little girl’s eyes curled with laughter as she cupped Damian Sinclair’s face and kissed him heartily on the cheek.
Bella Acker subtly frowned, "Talia, it’s not okay to talk to President Sinclair like that..."
Before she finished, Damian Sinclair interrupted, "Talia talking to me like this is just fine. Talia, are you hungry?"
"Not yet. Daddy, shall we wait for Uncle to come back and then go eat together?"
"Okay, it’s all up to your plan. Daddy’s ordered Thai food, is that alright?"
"I want pineapple rice." The little girl immediately raised her hand.
"Sure." Damian Sinclair patted the little girl’s back, "Shall Daddy take you to change clothes?"
"Alright, Daddy carry me high up."
The little girl reached out her hand, and Damian Sinclair lifted her above his head and placed her on his shoulders, "Let’s go, change clothes upstairs."
Bella Acker watched, utterly at a loss for words.
"President Sinclair, put her down and let her walk by herself. You’ll spoil Talia like this."
"Our Talia is smart, she can’t be spoiled." Damian Sinclair carried the little girl as he headed to the room upstairs, saying, "Even if she gets spoiled, it doesn’t matter. She’s Damian Sinclair’s daughter; she can do whatever she wants."
Bella Acker wanted to say something but Sharon Cheney tugged at her hand, watching the two already gone to the room, she whispered with a smile, "Let President Sinclair be good to Talia if he wants to, don’t be too anxious. Anyway, Talia looks like you, and her age is reported one year younger, no one will ever suspect."
"Godmother..." Bella Acker didn’t know what to say.
Besides not wanting Damian Sinclair to know about Talia’s parentage, every time she saw Talia so dependency on Damian Sinclair, she felt guilty.
As a single mom, she ultimately couldn’t give the child the most complete love.
