Chapter 790: Chapter 789: He Was Kicked Out of the Family? (Part 3)

Bella sighed, "Godmother, I’m going up to take a look."

Sharon smiled softly, patting her arm, "Go ahead. Don’t be so nervous, just relax a bit."

"Got it."

Bella nodded, smiling slightly as she followed her upstairs.

Talia had her own separate room where she kept her things. However, she usually slept in Ethan’s room.

It was obviously not the first time Damian was helping Talia change clothes, as Bella saw him handling it quite skillfully when she entered the room.

"Mommy." The little girl was holding a small doll, happily waving her little hand at Bella.

Bella walked over, took the doll from her, and asked, "Why not change clothes by yourself?"

While abroad, Talia had learned to dress herself from the age of three and didn’t need any help.

The little girl sighed, spreading her hands innocently, "I can’t take away Daddy’s joy."

Bella was speechless as Damian put the last coat on the little girl, saying with satisfaction, "All done."

"Daddy’s amazing." The little girl gave Damian a thumbs up.

"Good girl." Damian pinched her cheek.

Bella was speechless, "Talia can handle these things herself. You shouldn’t spoil her; otherwise, she won’t be able to do what she can now."

"No worries." Damian looked at the little girl, "Right, Talia?"

"Don’t worry, Mommy. Daddy’s not around often, so I usually dress myself." The little girl said, pricking up her ears to listen to the downstairs sounds, "Oh, Uncle’s back. Uncle!" 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Upon hearing Ethan’s voice downstairs, the little girl immediately dashed out of the room, running downstairs.

"Ethan’s back." Bella also stood up, ready to go downstairs, but Damian stepped ahead of her, extended his arm, and gently closed the door.

The two locked eyes, and Damian said, "Ms. Acker, didn’t you say you were going to take care of me tonight?"

Bella’s brow twitched, and she realized she had almost forgotten about it.

"President Sinclair, I was just sending a sticker for fun; it’s not serious."

"Does Ms. Acker usually send such stickers casually when chatting with people?" Damian raised his eyebrow.

Of course not, unless it’s a chat between female friends where it’s typically unrestrained.

However, admitting that would imply he was still special, right?

Bella stubbornly replied, "Of course, everyone’s just joking around; no one takes it seriously."

"What if I do take it seriously?" Damian stared at her intently, not even blinking.

"Uh..." Bella hesitated and said, "President Sinclair, chatting like that makes it easy to kill the mood."

Damian’s otherwise expressionless face finally showed a faint smile that was hard to discern, "If Ms. Acker wants me to forget about tonight’s promise, that’s possible, but I have one condition."

"You still want to set conditions?" Bella’s eyes widened as she looked him up and down, "President Sinclair, you’ve really made me understand the phrase ’there are no honest businessmen.’"

"Thank you for the compliment, Ms. Acker." Damian curled his lips slightly, pointed to his lips, and said, "Come over and give me a kiss, and I’ll let it go."

"What?" Bella thought she heard wrong.

Damian replied earnestly, "If you don’t kiss me, I’ll call Ethan and Talia to judge."

Bella was speechless at being threatened, "President Sinclair, I never realized you could be so shameless when you act up."
