Chapter 760: Chapter 759: Oh My Precious Darling (3)

Bella Acker saw how anxious the old man was and understood he genuinely wanted to give Talia a welcome gift.

"Old man, Talia really likes flowers."

"Really?" The old man’s eyes lit up; there were several flower shops at the market.

"Really." Bella Acker nodded.

"Then I’ll go buy flowers for Talia." The old man, no longer pretending to be frail with Bella Acker’s help, briskly walked to the flower shop and grandly waved his hand, "Here, here, here, here, I want all the flowers."

The flower shop owner was stunned.

Bella Acker quickly stepped forward upon hearing this, "Old man, we don’t need that many, we can’t fit them at home. Talia likes daisies, just buy her a bouquet of daisies."

"Then buy all the daisies."

"Old man!" Bella Acker was helpless.

The old man sighed, "Alright, mix these colors together, make me a bouquet of daisies."

Bella Acker finally smiled.

"Okay, just a moment." The flower shop owner picked out daisies and some green leaves as embellishment, wrapped a beautiful bouquet of daisies, and handed them to the old man, saying, "That’ll be a hundred thirty."

"Alright." The old man reached for his wallet, suddenly remembering he didn’t have any money on him.

The shop owner watched him, the old man watched her back.

Understanding the situation, Bella Acker quickly handed a hundred thirty to the shop owner, "Thank you." She thought about how the old man insisted on buying a gift for Talia, not arguing over paying, but ended up making him embarrassed.

The old man looked awkwardly at Bella Acker, "I forgot I didn’t bring any money."

"It’s alright, Talia will like the gift you gave her." To save him further embarrassment, Bella Acker changed the subject, "Let’s go, don’t keep Talia waiting too long."

"Okay, okay, let’s hurry back." Mentioning Talia, the old man quickened his pace immediately.

As they returned to the entrance of the community, a car parked in a temporary spot by the roadside opened its door, and Talia was the first to rush out, running toward Bella Acker, "Mommy."

The girl was wearing a mid-length, thickened brown furry cotton jacket today, with cute bear designs on the pockets and hood. Paired with a beige bear knitted hat and matching snow boots, she was irresistibly adorable.

Bella Acker set the groceries she was carrying aside and crouched to catch the girl charging toward her.

"Mommy, I missed you so much." It was the longest time the girl had been apart from Bella Acker in years, and she had been missing her mother deeply. Yet, being precocious and sensible, she understood her mother needed to work, so she didn’t cry or make a fuss.

Now, seeing her mommy, she couldn’t help but nuzzle her face into her mother’s embrace.

"I missed Talia too." Bella Acker rubbed the girl’s face and held it to give her a kiss.

The old man watched the mother and daughter affectionately together, waiting on the side with the flowers in his hand.

After a while, Bella Acker released the girl and said, "Talia, this is..."

"Grandpa." The old man cut off Bella Acker, presenting the flowers to the girl, "Talia, I’m your grandpa."

Bella Acker laughed and said, "Talia, these flowers were bought especially for you by grandpa, thank grandpa quickly."

She intended to introduce him as grandpa, but the old man insisted on upgrading himself to great-grandfather.

"Thank you, grandpa." The girl accepted the flowers and held them with a sweet smile, not forgetting to compliment, "Wow, they’re so beautiful! Grandpa has great taste!"

Bam! Heart hit hard.

Oh my, my precious Bonnie!
