Chapter 1280: Chapter 549: The Annihilation of Tzeentch’s Demon Army (Part 2)
"I will not return to my master’s garden!"
The Father of Disease erupted with incomparable fury, unleashing a scream filled with pure hatred. Kugas’ belly suddenly swelled up, and he opened his mouth wide, spewing out a torrent of plague pus over three meters tall and more than two meters wide!
All the Tzeentch Demons attempting to protect the Fate Weaver instantly dissolved in this extremely terrifying filth, leaving only a pit of yellow-green pus in the area.
"Ahhhh! Ahhhhh!!!" The Fate Weaver felt his whole body melting, emitting the most piercing screams of agony, and all the Tzeentch Demons that tried to protect him were instantly swallowed and dissolved by the filth.
The two Chaos Great Demons were simultaneously heavily wounded. Kugas painfully tore at his own skin, barely freeing himself from the Fate Weaver’s witchcraft flames after much effort. The numerous burnt-through holes on his body caused this topmost Great Nurgle Demon immense pain.
The state of the Fate Weaver was absolutely not much better. No Chaos Demon, including the Nurgle Demons, dared to approach the area covered by the pus vomited by the Father of Disease. The constantly bubbling, boiling, and roiling yellow-green pus emitted a stench potent enough to make the strongest Chaos Demons faint on the spot.
Relying on expending all of his magic power at the last moment, the Fate Weaver barely avoided being melted into a puddle of pus. Struggling to rise, the Great Demon of Tzeentch was covered in traces eroded by the pus, his feathered wings burnt clean, every wound on his body deep to the bone, with one of his bird necks nearly burnt through and the other not much better off.
Yet he still crawled out from the polluted substance, albeit in extreme distress.
The severe injuries of the two Chaos Great Demons greatly affected the stability of the link between the Mortal World and the Chaos Domain. The Tzeentch Eternal Legion and the Nurgle Plague Legion turned to ashes en masse after losing energy, with only a few demons remaining, struggling for survival, either praising Saint Tzeentch or expressing gratitude for the Father’s love.
"Huff~ Huff~" Kugas attempted to lift his Plague Giant Sword, but Carlos knew he couldn’t give the Great Nurgle Demon a chance to recover. Releasing his last ounce of strength, he flashed to Kugas’ front: "To fight against the Master of Destiny, one must endure suffering!"
Five Holy Artifacts appeared in Carlos’ hand.
These were the five lost Holy Artifacts of Brittania, five cavalry lances bestowed by the Lake Fairy to the twelve original Holy Grail Knights.
"This is..." The Great Nurgle Demon widened his eyes: "You actually..."
The grievously wounded Father of Disease found himself powerless to resist the Holy Artifacts summoned by Carlos. He watched helplessly as the five cavalry lances, under the control of the Fate Weaver, pierced into his chest.
Amidst a piercing scream, the heart of the Father of Disease was completely impaled by the five cavalry lances. The Fate Weaver screamed: "You won’t defeat me here! Kugas!"
"Ugh~" Kugas gasped deeply, knowing he was defeated and would be banished.
"Don’t get too complacent." Kugas suddenly laughed. The Great Nurgle Demon, in his final moments, grabbed Carlos’ arm: "The entire world will fight against you. You’ve already lost, Carlos. This won’t be your last failure."
Having said that, the Great Nurgle Demon let out a final cry, his body collapsing, disintegrating into ashes amidst wailing.
With the defeat of the Father of Disease, the entire Nurgle Plague Legion lost its link to the Mortal World, and all the Nurgle Demons disintegrated amidst screams.
Only the Tzeentch Demons remained over the swamps of Musillon. As the Fate Weaver reveled in the joy of defeating the Father of Disease, he soon sensed something amiss.
The time approached noon; the Tzeentch’s Demon Army, which once filled Carlos with immense pride, was now reduced to less than a tenth of its original strength. From tens of thousands of Chaos Demons, less than a thousand remained, and the teleportation gate had been destroyed by the Nurgle Demons.
Worse still, the Fate Weaver was severely injured, with that nauseating pus still corroding his body. He attempted to cast a Healing Magic but couldn’t feel a trace of magic power. His subordinate Tzeentch Demons faced the same predicament, many of them disintegrating on the spot due to the diminished Wind of Chaos without having sustained any injury.
At this moment, the blare of horns sounded.
"Toowoo~ Toowoo~"
The Human, Dwarf, and Wood Elf Alliance Army, having observed the entire battle from a distance, reentered the battlefield, firmly encircling the Fate Weaver and his Eternal Legion!
Cannon fire roared, as artillery from the Imperial Army and the Dwarf Army unleashed their full might, bombarding the position of Tzeentch’s Demon Army with unrelenting force.
Arrows rained down, with the Wood Elf and Human armies drawing their bows together, a torrential hail of arrows continuously harvesting the remnants of the Tzeentch Demons. Dwarf Musketeers and Human Musketeers fired in unison, the dense barrage picking off formidable foes.
Damn it! The Fate Weaver already sensed extreme misfortune. Before he could react, the entire battlefield was drowned out by a massive artillery blast.
"Boom!!!"
The holy radiance of the Lake Fairy enveloped the battlefield. A fearsome bursting shell landed at Carlos’ location, and in a dazzling flash of light and an earth-shattering explosion, a dozen Tzeentch Demons around Carlos were blasted to pieces on the spot.
This is the power of the new super-heavy cannon "Mogiana’s New Toy," developed by Laine through the combined forces of divine power and Dwarf Engineering!
