As dawn broke, at a place approximately thirty kilometers away from Landuin’s Tomb, the Tzeentch Eternal Legion and the Nurgle Plague Legion were still battling.
Carlos, the Fate Weaver, was covered in wounds all over. Its already very balding feathers were almost all plucked clean. The movements of the Plague Giant Sword were not fast, but Carlos was enveloped by that terrible plague. Its speed slowed down, and with each breath, the Fate Weaver could smell the rot of its own innards.
The Father of Disease’s condition was also far from good. The first Great Nurgle Demon, under Nurgle’s command, standing at five to six meters tall, had its skin covered with marks of burns and penetrations from the Fate Weaver’s witchcraft and attacks. One of its eyes was burnt blind, and one horn was cut off.
The swamp was full of traces of battle between Nurgle Demons and Tzeentch Demons.
The witchcraft flames of the Tzeentch Demons clashed with the unique pus of the Nurgle Demons. In an intense tug-of-war, these two Chaos Demon Legions fought bravely with the firm intent not to leave any opponent undefeated. They did not care about casualties at all.
Born in the Garden of Nurgle, the furry flies buzzed, forming thick black swarms under the sky. The small Nurgle Spirits sang songs of praise to the Kindly Father, and the Nurgle Demons, carrying many plagues, extinguished the witchcraft flames of the Tzeentch Demons again and again.
Indeed, Demon Weapons can injure these disgusting Nurgle Demons, but to them, unless it’s a critical hit, it’s just adding another wound to their already festering and corrupt skin. It means nothing to them since their bodies are inherently riddled with rot, decay, and pus.
Even after the Tzeentch Demons’ weapons injure them, no blood is seen, only various digestive juices, bile, pus, and body oil spray out. Their skin bursts easily, and aside from deeper wounds, Nurgle Demons feel no pain upon damage.
However, the Nurgle Demons also have their weaknesses: their movements are slow, and their overly bloated bodies with ruptured torsos make any action laborious, resulting in sluggish movements.
Even so, the Tzeentch Demon Army was falling behind in its confrontation with the Nurgle Demon Army, with the blue Eternal Legion gradually being overpowered by the green Plague Legion.
The Fate Weaver knew what was happening and couldn’t help but fume at the thought, with smoke coming out of its two bird heads.
After arriving in Brittania, the Tzeentch Demon Army had already undergone several battles. Even with victories, there were inevitable losses, unlike the full-strength Plague Legion.
The Fate Weaver itself, after acquiring the Fifth Holy Artifact, had established an energy channel from the Chaos Domain to the Mortal World. It should have been able to decisively defeat the Father of Disease, Kugas. However, in the confrontations with the Knightly Army, Laine, Kaled, Mogiana, Bohemond, and then the Forest King Olein, too much magic power had been expended.
Continuing like this would be disastrous! The Fate Weaver realized it must quickly settle the score with the Father of Disease, or it would be exhausted by Nurgle’s plague sooner or later. With a precise plan and intense thought, Carlos immediately spread its wings and swiftly closed the distance to the Great Nurgle Demon.
The Father of Disease, Kugas, also discerned Carlos’s plan, but the Great Nurgle Demon was not known for speed. In an instant, the Fate Weaver was over the Father of Disease’s head, bringing down its Witchcraft Staff. Few could survive the Fate Weaver’s fierce assault.
Kugas certainly would not stand idle. The first Great Nurgle Demon under Nurgle’s command knew it couldn’t possibly dodge Carlos’s attack, so it immediately raised its Plague Giant Sword for defense.
The massive shockwave overturned all nearby Chaos Demons. The battle between the two Great Chaos Demons was enough to turn the spectators into shreds.
The Witchcraft Staff struck the Plague Giant Sword. The Fate Weaver’s dual heads glared angrily at the Father of Disease’s fat and ugly face. If not for these Nurgle Demons, it would have already completed its plan!
The Witchcraft Staff smashed heavily on the surface of the Plague Giant Sword. A foul green mist spewed forth, the toxic fumes from the Father of Disease’s Plague Giant Sword could instantly annihilate most mortals in the Mortal World. Even the Fate Weaver was momentarily blinded by the poison.
"Carlos, you, and your master, the God of Crow, are destined to fail. This is the rule of the Chaos Domain!" Kugas roared.
"Watch yourself be destroyed, Kugas!" the Fate Weaver also roared in anger. It did not stop chanting its spell for a second, its cold, merciless tone accelerating.
Until the multicolored Holy Fire of Tzeentch erupted from its Magic Staff, a terrifying brilliant light burst from the Fate Weaver’s Witchcraft Staff. The Great Nurgle Demon only felt its eyes being consumed by flames. Kugas was deprived of all senses; the witchcraft flames dispersed its poison mist and scorched its body. The Holy Fire of Tzeentch caused immense pain to the Great Nurgle Demon. The Father of Disease screamed and fell back, its entire face and chest charred black by the flames.
