Chapter 1281: Chapter 549: The Fall of Tzeentch’s Demon Army (Part 3)
"Ugh!" One wing of the Fate Weaver was shattered in the explosion, and it had lost its ability to fly. It was barely supporting itself upright with the Witchcraft Staff, shrieking loudly and powerlessly, angrily cursing the despicable and shamelessness of these order races, and berating the damned Nurgle and its subordinate Nurgle Demon Army for their untimeliness.
It was losing this war.
In the east, Laine, enveloped entirely in silver flames, rode the giant Griffin Empress and charged all the way. All the Tzeentch demons in his path fled in panic; the enemies attempting to block the Lake Fairy Chosen Champion had been completely swept away, and the Griffin’s claws tore and crushed the Tzeentch demons, charging directly at Carlos.
In the south, the knights of Brittania and the Imperial Knights assembled together, launching the final charge under the leadership of Bohemond, Francois, and Kaled, the three Holy Sanctuary Holy Grail Knights. The thunderous hooves resounded, and the long spears formed a forest.
In the west, the Wood Elves, led by Olein and Alaros, sounded the wild horn. Woodland Cavalry, Wild Cavalry, Desolate Forest Rangers, and Sword Dancers created a green wave, with Olein at the forefront, ready to claim Carlos’ bird head as a prize!
At this moment, even the most confident Great Demon under Tzeentch’s command felt that things were amiss. Severely wounded, it could no longer handle so many powerful foes simultaneously.
It tried to retreat, knowing it was not one of the fools or idiots under Khorne’s command; it would not fight to the death. As the Order Alliance Army swept over the demons, nearing its location from three directions, Carlos finally resolved to retreat.
Its figure began to flicker as it left the Mortal World, returning to the Tzeentch Crystal Labyrinth within the Chaos Domain.
The leftover Tzeentch demons fought desperately to block Laine and the others’ advance, allowing Carlos to carry away the Holy Artifact. The remaining Tzeentch demons were strong beings favored by Carlos, delaying the Alliance Army’s assault.
It seemed that no one could stop the Fate Weaver from leaving.
And one deity had been waiting for this moment for a long time.
The heavy clouds parted under the goddess’s divine light, appearing in the Mortal World was the unparalleled form of the Lake Fairy. Lilith’s eyes were tightly closed as she incanted an ancient Great Curse Technique. A radiant white energy vortex engulfed the Fate Weaver’s body, drawing this Chaos Great Demon into the light trap woven by the goddess.
"No! No!" cried the crazed Great Demon of Tzeentch within the light vortex.
"Don’t even think about taking my Holy Artifact away from the Mortal World!" The Lake Fairy’s face was icy and slightly angry, increasing her divine power output: "Return to your filthy Chaos Domain! You dog of the Evil God!"
"No! No! No! I will not fail like this! I will return, and then, the Mortal World will be doomed! The Moment of Destruction is imminent!" Within the goddess’s light web, the Fate Weaver’s body was torn to pieces; the Tzeentch Great Demon, the scourge of Musillon, had been banished.
With Carlos’s banishment, all Tzeentch demons automatically disintegrated, and the Eternal Legion was expelled from the Mortal World.
Five Holy Artifacts fell onto the swamps of Musillon.
The Alliance Army hadn’t even had the time to celebrate their victory before the Lake Fairy’s warning followed: "Knights, it’s not yet the time to cheer for victory!"
"While you battle the Chaos Demon Army, Musillon’s Viper, Black Knight Mathew Bade’s army, is approaching the kingdom’s capital!"
