Lana Sheffield stared at the materials, stunned speechless.

“Lana, once this gets out, Melody Monroe will never recover! I can’t believe she’s so shameless, to actually do something like this.” Eileen Scott’s eyes lit up with excitement at the thought of Melody Monroe’s downfall.

“Was this photo taken in Jansburg?”

“Yes! This villa must have been bought by Melody Monroe’s sugar daddy!”

“Does the child live there too?” Lana Sheffield pressed.

“No, from what I’ve investigated, the child only visits occasionally. Melody Monroe probably just brings the little bastard over when her sugar daddy isn’t around. Do you think she’d let her sugar daddy find out she’s had an illegitimate child?”

“Of course not!” Eileen Scott immediately chimed in.

Yasmine Scott had only managed to take a single photo; the rest was all a product of her own imagination. Still, she was convinced that the reality of the situation was exactly as she had pictured it.

From what she knew of Melody Monroe, she was the type of person who would stop at nothing to get what she wanted.

All that news about her online is just a carefully crafted public persona. Her tactics are much more sophisticated than they were a few years ago.

“Lana, what’s our move? Should we leak this information now?”

“I need to plan this out carefully. We can’t act rashly. We’ve been burned before, and I won’t let it happen again.”

“Lana, what are you waiting for!” Eileen Scott said, growing impatient.

“What happened to Aya Winters?” Lana Sheffield asked in a low voice.

Eileen Scott was immediately speechless.

“Aya Winters… Wasn’t that because of the Mrs. Lewis affair? She was a mistress; she dug her own grave,” Yasmine Scott added, sharing the bit of gossip she knew.

“You mean, Aya Winters’ downfall was also connected to Melody Monroe?” Eileen Scott hadn’t made that connection yet.

‘On the surface, Aya Winters and Melody Monroe don’t have any bad blood, do they?’

“The only one left to compete with Melody Monroe for the Best Newcomer award is Mia Sutton. Do you think Melody Monroe, wanting to win that award, wouldn’t play some tricks? As far as I know, Aya Winters knew Carter Lewis from the very beginning of her career. They’ve maintained that relationship for years. So why, after all this time, did it suddenly come to light right now?”

Eileen Scott and Yasmine Scott both nodded. Now that they thought about it, it did seem to add up.

“If Melody Monroe is taken down, could I compete for the Best Newcomer award?” Eileen Scott asked Lana Sheffield.

“You don’t even have a nomination. Tiana Gable is with Stellaris, so she could probably swoop in and take it.”

“But Tiana Gable is one of Rose Shaw’s people!”

“Rose Shaw is gone! Tiana Gable is with Stellaris now! You don’t think they’d let an honor like that go to an outsider, do you?”

Eileen Scott was deeply displeased, but there was nothing she could do about it.

“I’ll handle this personally. The two of you don’t need to get involved.”

“Alright,” the two replied in unison.

Lana Sheffield looked at the files. ‘This time, I’m not just going to hold my son’s full moon celebration, I’m going to make it a grand affair! A truly magnificent event!’

The full moon celebration was to be held in the Sheffield Family’s name. As Mrs. Sterling, she sent out invitations to numerous figures in the entertainment industry and even made a point of inviting several well-known media outlets.

…

When Melody Monroe saw the invitation, she had no idea what Lana Sheffield was up to. ‘She actually sent me an invitation?’

‘I wonder if Rose got one?’

Melody Monroe quickly called Rose Shaw.

“You shouldn’t go either,” Rose Shaw advised over the phone.

“I wasn’t planning on it. I’ll just have someone take a gift over so I don’t seem rude.”

“Lana Sheffield invited so many people from the entertainment industry… what exactly is she planning?” Rose Shaw wondered aloud, feeling suspicious.
