Evan Fairchild let go of Melody Monroe. Wrapped in such a thick bathrobe, of course she was hot.

"Take off the bathrobe."

"Mhm." Melody Monroe immediately untied the sash.

Evan Fairchild’s gaze was locked on her. ’This is the first time she’s been so forward!’

Underneath, Melody Monroe was wearing a sleeveless, ruffled dress. A flash of disappointment crossed Evan Fairchild’s eyes.

"I was afraid of being recognized, so I wore a bathrobe on purpose to look like I was just coming from the hot springs. Pretty clever, right?"

Evan Fairchild: "..."

Melody Monroe felt his arms tighten around her waist as he lifted her into his arms!

Suddenly, the doorbell rang.

"Mr. Fairchild, your meal is here."

Melody Monroe immediately dashed into the bedroom. Evan Fairchild went to open the door, and a room service attendant brought the meal in.

’He hasn’t eaten yet?’

’Why hasn’t he eaten? It’s so late.’

Suddenly, the door opened, and Evan Fairchild stood before Melody Monroe.

"Aren’t you going to eat?"

"You’re a feast for the eyes!"

...

Eileen Scott slowly regained consciousness. Her head throbbed, and her vision was blurry. With great effort, she lifted a hand and rubbed her brow.

"Eileen." A voice called out next to her.

She lowered her hand, and the person in front of her came into focus.

"Sis?"

Lana Sheffield took her hand. "Are you hurt? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"

Eileen Scott looked around, bewildered. "Where am I? Sis, why are you here?"

"We’re at the hospital."

"The hospital? Why am I in the hospital? What happened?" Eileen Scott couldn’t remember anything that had happened the day before. The large dose of drugs had erased her memory.

She struggled to sit up. A wave of nausea washed over her, and her stomach felt like it was on fire.

"You had your stomach pumped, so you’re probably a little uncomfortable. You should lie back down."

The more she heard, the more confused Eileen Scott became. She was perfectly fine, so how did she end up in the hospital? And why did she have her stomach pumped?

She thought hard for a moment, then her eyes suddenly lit up with realization.

"Sis, that live show I was on... did something happen?"

Lana Sheffield didn’t know how to answer. Eileen Scott’s mother—Lana’s aunt—couldn’t even accept that such a video of her daughter was out there. Eileen herself would surely take it even harder.

But it was impossible to keep it under wraps forever. Eileen Scott would find out sooner or later.

Seeing the troubled expression on Lana Sheffield’s face, Raymond Ford stepped forward to support her. "Madam, why don’t you go rest for a moment? Let me speak with Miss Scott."

Lana Sheffield nodded.

A terrible sense of foreboding washed over Eileen Scott. She grabbed Raymond Ford’s arm. "What happened? Hurry up and tell me!"

"There was a bit of an incident on the show, but it didn’t involve Melody Monroe."

"Not Melody Monroe? Then who was it? Me?" Eileen Scott pressed urgently.

Even though she didn’t remember anything, the fact that she was in a hospital was proof enough that something had happened!

"Mhm." Raymond Ford nodded. "Miss Scott, do you remember what happened yesterday? Do you remember how you came to drink that glass of wine? Did someone switch your drink?"

Eileen Scott patted her own head in frustration. "What did I do yesterday? Just tell me, what did I do?!"

"Mrs. Sterling has already suppressed the whole affair. The video and other materials are no longer circulating. Don’t worry. After some time, people will forget about it."

"My phone! Where’s my phone?" Eileen Scott scrambled frantically around the bed, searching for her phone.

With no other choice, Raymond Ford placed the phone in Eileen Scott’s hand.

Eileen Scott immediately unlocked her phone and began searching for news online.

By now, only text-based reports remained online, but she still found the information she was looking for...
