She really was a living, breathing fairy!

So beautiful, so ethereal.

If Eileen Scott were to stand next to Melody Monroe, only one word could describe her: tacky!

Eileen Scott looked at Melody Monroe. As resentful as she felt, she had to admit that Melody was truly beautiful.

’Her beauty was probably the only reason Evan Fairchild would get out of the car for her!’

From the moment Melody Monroe appeared, Eileen Scott had turned green with envy.

Tonight’s dinner was a buffet, and the groups would be live-streaming throughout.

"Looks like they want us to do a mukbang!" Shaun Owen teased as he walked over to Melody Monroe.

As soon as they saw Melody Monroe, the other group members all headed her way.

"If we just sit here and eat, will anyone actually watch?"

"Live-streaming is so popular now. People will watch anything!"

"Yeah, didn’t the crew from another show complain about this a while back? They said over seven thousand people were watching a security camera feed!"

"Just how bored can those seven thousand people be!"

"See? No matter what you stream, someone will watch."

"Attention, all groups. The streaming equipment will be activated shortly. Please prepare for your broadcast."

The staff were in position, and the groups took their seats at four separate tables.

The banquet hall wasn’t very large. A long buffet table laden with delicious food ran down the center, and everyone sat at four large dining tables arranged around it.

"Alright, let’s dig in! It’s a happy mukbang today!"

"Let’s go get some good stuff! The spread looks pretty lavish today."

Melody Monroe glanced at the dishes on the table. So many were her favorites, but for someone who had to watch their weight, this was pure agony.

’I can’t eat any of it.’

After a trip around the buffet, Melody Monroe’s plate was the most pathetic of them all.

And it was all green.

"Captain, that’s a foul! You’re eating so little! What are we supposed to do?"

"Exactly! Look, our plates are piled high! After days of instant food, this is like heaven."

Melody Monroe didn’t dare say a word.

Just then, a waiter approached. "Would any of you care for a drink?"

"I-I would. A glass of whiskey for me, thanks."

"I’ll have a glass of juice, thank you."

The others at the table all ordered something, but Melody Monroe remained silent.

"Miss Monroe, what can I get for you?"

"Just water is fine for me. Could I have a glass of plain water, please?"

"Of course. One moment, please."

As the waiter was walking toward Melody Monroe with the water, a figure suddenly cut in front of him. The tray in his hands tilted, and the glass nearly toppled over.

The person steadied the waiter’s arm and said, "My apologies."

The waiter gave a faint smile and let the person pass.

He failed to notice that as the person bumped into him and then steadied him, they had dropped something into the water.

A small trail of bubbles fizzed in the water before it quickly went back to normal.

Keith Coleman saw the whole thing. He quickly walked over to Melody Monroe.

"Don’t drink the water."

Melody Monroe froze for a second at Keith Coleman’s words. The waiter had already brought the water over.

"Miss Monroe, your water."

"Thank you," Melody Monroe said quietly. She glanced at the glass in front of her. ’If Keith is warning me like this,’ she thought, ’there must be something wrong with this water.’

"Come with me for a second." Melody Monroe stood up and walked toward a corner of the banquet hall.
