Transmigrated as The Best Female Character of the Year
Chapter 386 - 384: The Humans Are Inferior to Pigs Series
Only when Melody Monroe and her group arrived at the hot spring resort did they realize today’s task had also been arranged in advance. Otherwise, with the current situation, they probably wouldn’t have even been able to book a room.
Evan Fairchild’s arrival had caused every single room in Somberfell City to be completely booked solid!
And what no one could understand was this: booking rooms for the next couple of days was one thing, but what was up with people booking for a week from now? Evan Fairchild would be long gone by then, wouldn’t he?
What the hotel staff found even more baffling was that, in a single day, rooms had been pre-booked for the next half-month!
A single Evan Fairchild had single-handedly transformed the slowest tourism month of the year into peak season!
Having arrived at the hot spring resort, the group paused their livestream. It would resume later when they attended the dinner party.
They only had an hour to wash up and get ready, which was a very tight schedule.
When Melody Monroe got to her room, Rose Shaw, Keith Coleman, and Talia were already there.
She set Bunny down, and the little fella immediately scurried on its short legs to hide under a chair, seemingly not yet accustomed to the unfamiliar surroundings.
"Melody, are you really going to keep this pig? What are we supposed to do with it?" Keith Coleman asked, glancing under the chair.
"While I’m busy filming the show, I’ll need you to take care of Bunny for me," Melody Monroe said to Keith Coleman.
"What? You want me to take care of this pig?" Keith Coleman instantly flipped out.
’My status has already hit rock bottom! I haven’t even complained about that, but now I have to raise a pig?!’
"Oh, and you’ll also need to buy some things for Bunny. A comfy bed would be best," Melody Monroe added as a reminder.
Keith Coleman was speechless.
’Did I agree to help raise this pig?’
"Here’s the dress for the dinner party later. You don’t need to be too over-the-top. I figure some simple makeup will be fine, so I didn’t call for a stylist." Rose Shaw took out the dress and handed it to Melody Monroe.
"A stylist isn’t necessary. Going overboard at this kind of event would be counterproductive. Appropriate is what matters."
Rose Shaw and Melody Monroe exchanged a smile, clearly on the same page.
"Rose, is your lodging sorted out?" Melody Monroe asked, slightly worried they might not have rooms.
"All sorted," Rose Shaw nodded.
"Good. I’m going to take a shower," Melody Monroe said, heading for the bathroom.
Keith Coleman crouched down, peering at the pig. Bunny blinked its little eyes and stared right back at him.
Just as he reached out to grab it, Bunny darted under another chair.
This miniature pig was different from others. Most pigs have black fur on their heads or bodies, but this one was completely white with a faint pinkish tint. It was also a bit smaller, and its expression was particularly, adorably dopey.
Rose Shaw found it utterly charming and squatted down as well, holding her hand out to the little pig.
The little pig slowly trotted over and sniffed Rose Shaw’s hand.
"Miniature pigs are pretty easy to care for. They mostly eat things like mini cucumbers, carrots, and fruit," Talia Mercer said, already looking up information on her phone.
"There aren’t any pet stores around here. Talia, order some supplies online."
"Okay, Rose. I’ll find some shops close to our location. With any luck, the delivery should arrive tomorrow or the day after."
Rose Shaw sat down in a chair, holding the little pig. She had given it a little sniff and found it didn’t have any odd smells. It looked quite clean and seemed to love snuggling in a person’s arms, as if that made it feel more secure.
When Keith Coleman reached out to pet it, the little pig immediately recoiled, refusing to let him touch it.
