As they talked, the two of them walked to the car.

Diana took out the car keys to unlock it and said in a gruff voice, "Speaking of which, who exactly is behind the Dark Fortress? Why did they capture our people and then release them without a scratch? It’s illogical."

Nathalie Quinlan walked to the passenger seat, opened the car door, and sat inside, all the while pondering the minor clash in Terrafina that Diana mentioned.

She was caught up in her thoughts, so she didn’t notice someone spotting them not far away.

...

"That license plate..." Zevaney Kingsley got into the car with Simon Grayson.

Simon wanted to inquire about the weapons merchant, and as he was speaking to her, Zevaney glanced up, sharp-eyed, spotting the illuminated license plate on one of the cars in the front row.

These past few days, she had been investigating David’s information.

Being connected to Regina Isadora, many powers were willing to give her face, and she did manage to gather some useful information.

For instance, the license plate number and car photo of Mr. David’s vehicle in Inderia.

Zevaney stood in place, amazed at her good fortune; just coming out for a meal, she ran into David’s car.

"What’s with that license plate?" Simon, the president of the trade alliance, also stopped and looked over instinctively.

The lighting in the underground garage was poor, and the man about to get into the car was wearing a hat, so he couldn’t make out the face from a distance.

He didn’t understand what Zevaney recognized in such dim lighting.

Zevaney’s heart pounded; unwilling to miss such a good opportunity, she freed herself from Simon and quickly stepped forward, afraid that if she delayed, the person would get in the car and leave.

"Mr. David, please wait a moment."

Seeing the man about to open the car door, Zevaney ignored whether Simon was following her or not and hastily called out to the person about to get in.

Diana had her hand on the handle, stunned, and turned to look.

He didn’t recognize Zevaney at first glance.

"Who is that?"

Nathalie sat in the car, lazily glanced back, but recognized Zevaney. She pursed her lips, pulled down her duckbill cap, her eyes quite moody.

Tsk, unlucky.

Zevaney approached quickly. As she got to the man, her heart was pounding with excitement, and she hadn’t yet recognized the man wearing sunglasses and a hat. She introduced herself gracefully and warmly, "Mr. David, hello, I didn’t expect to meet you here, how coincidental."

Diana had already recognized her, sharing the same reaction as Nathalie, feeling as if they’d swallowed a fly.

Zevaney didn’t notice, proactively expressing goodwill, "Mr. David, are you here... shopping? Do you have some time? If it’s convenient, I’d like to invite you for a drink."

Seeing the other party unmoved, she maintained a smile at the corners of her mouth and said in a good-natured manner, "If you want to shop, that’s alright too. I’m familiar with Inderia; if you don’t mind, I’d be willing to guide you around."

By this time, Simon had caught up, and seeing Zevaney addressing the man as Mr. David, he understood clearly and was equally excited, extending his hand.

"Mr. David, hello, I’m Simon, from the trade alliance, pleased to meet you."

Diana took a deep breath, realizing that they wouldn’t leave without revealing herself, so she calmly removed the sunglasses, revealing the face that had haunted Zevaney’s nightmares for several days: "Ms. Kingsley, what a coincidence."

He held the sunglasses in his hand, raising an eyebrow, his tiger’s eye full of dominance, projecting an intimidating aura.

Zevaney recognized him in an instant, her expression changing drastically, unable to believe her eyes: "You, you’re..."
