Chapter 2481: The Two Discover Someone Else in the Car

That day, the person who broke into their laboratory turned out to be the weapon dealer, David?!

Simon hadn’t figured out the situation and, seeing Diana not shaking hands with him, awkwardly put his hand down and curiously watched the two of them. With a gentle smile, he said to Diana, "Mr. David, I just heard Ms. Kingsley mention you. I didn’t expect everyone to meet so quickly. Would you like to have a cup of coffee sometime?"

"Oh? She mentioned me?" Diana raised an eyebrow, glanced at the pale-faced Zevaney Kingsley, and grinned, "What did she say about me?"

"Well..." Simon couldn’t quite grasp his meaning and honestly said, "Ms. Kingsley just mentioned that you are very nice and said she would introduce you to everyone sometime."

Zevaney felt as if the sky had fallen and her head was about to explode, unable to accept the reality in front of her.

Simon’s words only added to her embarrassment and awkwardness amidst her shock. Her face felt hot, her eyes wavered, and she braced herself to face the other’s teasing expression, saying, "Mr. Isadora mentioned you to me."

She seemed to make a casual statement, but it was a reminder to Diana that she was Regina Isadora’s person.

She thought Regina Isadora had been the first to seek out Diana, assuming they had met, unaware that Regina had left with her ego bruised, not even meeting the person.

Diana, familiar with the ways of Terrafina, immediately folded her arms and gave her a once-over: "Ms. Kingsley, you should avoid acting familiar with people you’re not close to. After all... if they really want you to introduce them, can you do it?"

Zevaney instantly understood what he meant, her face burned red, and it felt like she had been slapped hard.

Until a familiar voice came from the car: "Let’s go."

Nathalie’s head ached, rubbing her temples, she looked up at him and spoke before he could, "I promised to find time to take you out for dinner before, and I’ll let you know when I have the time."

Simon felt an instant relief, like drinking a cool beverage on a hot summer day, soothing his anxious mood. He stepped aside, very gentlemanly, saying, "Then I won’t disturb you."

Simon was flattered.
