The Unveiling of Secret Queen
Chapter 2479: They Released Our People
Her footsteps slowed down, her face full of surprise: "Why is she here?"
"Mrs. Lordon, why did you stop?" Willy Kingsley, walking ahead, noticed Mrs. Lordon wasn’t moving and turned back to follow her line of sight.
He too saw the girl in the hot pot restaurant engrossed in her phone.
Upon seeing Nathalie Quinlan, he immediately recalled the incident where Zevaney Kingsley was almost kicked out of the Kingsleys Family, which left him feeling inexplicably uncomfortable. He frowned and said disdainfully, "Isn’t she supposed to be the heir of The First Research Institute after climbing up by Mr. Fuller’s favor? Why is she dining in such a place?"
In his understanding, high-class clubs or restaurants suited their social status.
Not these down-to-earth hot pot restaurants.
Willy Kingsley prided himself on his status and would never frequent such places.
Mrs. Lordon shared the same sentiment and wouldn’t set foot in places like hot pot restaurants. She looked indifferently in the direction of the girl, seemingly noticing a man walking over, and sneered, "I thought she was something, but she still relies on men! But this man doesn’t look great!"
Willy Kingsley also saw the man she mentioned.
The man wore a hat and sunglasses, making it hard to see his face. Yet from his casual dress, he resembled a bumpkin.
Willy Kingsley glanced once and then withdrew his sight, telling Mrs. Lordon: "Madam, let’s go. I’ll send Zevaney a message later to see if she has time to come over."
Mrs. Lordon lost interest in Nathalie Quinlan upon hearing Zevaney Kingsley’s name and turned her head away.
Willy Kingsley seized her curiosity about David’s affairs, smiling slightly, exuding confident assurance: "If she can come, I’ll ask her about Mr. David for you."
Mrs. Lordon thoroughly dismissed the thought of greeting Nathalie Quinlan, not even glancing at the hot pot restaurant as she followed Willy Kingsley’s lead.

"Come on, let’s go." Diana returned after settling the bill, noticing the girl watching thoughtfully in the opposite direction.
He curiously glanced over, saw nothing, and asked: "What are you looking at? Is there something across the way?"
Nathalie Quinlan slowly withdrew her line of sight, stood up, picked up her phone, and said to him, "Let’s go."
She had just felt someone looking at her, but when she observed, she only saw two backs, not familiar, unsure of their identity.
Nathalie Quinlan guessed they were acquaintances from Inderia.
But since they didn’t come over to greet her, they were probably not close.
She didn’t bother herself with it.
The two took the elevator down and went directly to the parking lot.
Diana brought the car around.
Nathalie Quinlan asked him to drop her off at The First Research Institute.
On the way, Nathalie asked him when he would return to Terrafina and about the business there...
"Our business is pretty good, but still the same problem, there are frequent conflicts with our competitors; business rivalry is intense."
Diana solemnly discussed business, his expression growing serious, his voice low and authoritative: "Dark Fortress’s business is expanding, having already snatched two of our old clients, and their weapon sources are abundant; they’re ahead in fighter jets, with more channels."
"Not long ago, I sent someone to scout their headquarters, and they got caught."
Rarely does Diana face such setbacks in Terrafina; just mentioning it made him blush with embarrassment as he awkwardly scratched his ear.
Nathalie Quinlan’s eyes narrowed slightly: "They moved on our people?"
Diana shook his head immediately: "No, they didn’t."
"They let the person go." He stroked his stubble, not lacking in exterior appeal, possessing a wild masculine charm uncommon here: "I asked him, and he said nobody at Dark Fortress touched him."
