The Unveiling of Secret Queen
Chapter 2357: Amadeus: Why Don’t You Show Your Evidence First?
Nicholas Fuller resisted the bait, forcefully suppressing his anger, and looked at him coldly: "You come here to cause trouble, what do you really want? Surely it’s not as simple as just confronting me."
Nathan Garland gritted his teeth, stubbornly refusing to admit: "I just want the Principal to provide evidence to prove you didn’t leak the exam questions to your apprentice in advance. Otherwise, the previous selection results are unfair to everyone. Including the Vice Principal’s student..."
"We just want fairness!" Nathan Garland spoke fiercely, his movements large: "We can’t have it said that the selection results of The First Research Institute are solely because you favor her, allowing her to stand out from the crowd. This isn’t selection; it’s inheritance. If you truly want her to inherit The First Research Institute, you might as well say so clearly, just say she’s the heir you’ve chosen."
"I did not leak the exam questions to anyone in advance!" Nicholas Fuller was already trying his hardest to restrain his temper, but truly Nathan Garland knew his bottom line well, repeatedly bringing up Nathalie Quinlan.
Nathan Garland knew attacking Nicholas Fuller himself wouldn’t work.
Nicholas Fuller is someone who remains composed, even if today Nathan Garland argued till his lips were chapped, Nicholas Fuller might not respond to him at all.
He intentionally attacked Nathalie Quinlan, dragging everything onto her. Nicholas Fuller deeply cares about Nathalie Quinlan’s reputation and would absolutely not allow him to speak recklessly.
Seeing Nicholas Fuller couldn’t hold back and clarified again, Nathan Garland wouldn’t relent, pressing tightly: "Principal, can you show evidence to prove yourself?"
Nicholas Fuller looked at him coldly, not saying a word. The anger in his chest was rising, relying purely on reason not to explode.
"Principal, you say you didn’t leak the exam questions in advance, where is the evidence? Bring out the evidence." Nathan Garland pursued his advantage, stepping forward again.
Nicholas Fuller’s eyes were blazing, his hands clenched into fists, veins bulging on the back of his hand.
Outside, onlookers were whispering, each with their own opinion.
Then,
A flippant voice interjected: "You claim we leaked the exam questions, what evidence do you have? Why don’t you present your evidence first?"
Nicholas Fuller jumped at the sound, immediately moving past Nathan Garland toward the outside. Sure enough, he saw Nathalie Quinlan and Amadeus Yancey walking side by side: "Nathalie, Amadeus, Amadeus."
Amadeus Yancey politely greeted him: "Mr. Fuller."
Nathan Garland snapped his head around, eyes venomous as he glared at the approaching girl, wishing he could tear her apart.
"I’m talking to the Principal, what does an outsider like you have to interrupt?!"
He was referring to Amadeus Yancey.
It was Amadeus Yancey who had just interjected, making Nathan Garland look awkward.
Nicholas Fuller frowned, just about to respond.
Natasha Quinlan reached out to stop him, shaking her head: "No need."
Nicholas Fuller took a deep breath, yet again forcibly holding back.
Amadeus Yancey walked inside, not coddling him, curled his lips with a teasing tone: "I heard Mr. Garland repeatedly demanding the Principal bring out evidence, I’m puzzled. Since you’re the one questioning whether he leaked the exam questions to his apprentice beforehand, shouldn’t you be the one presenting evidence?"
Amadeus Yancey reached the reception sofa, bent over, picked up a cup, played with it in his hand, then suddenly looked askance at Nathan Garland, casually countered: "Otherwise, Mr. Garland throwing out baseless accusations here seems rather inappropriate, don’t you think?"
Nathan Garland’s face turned red then white, clearly unable to defend himself: "Stop randomly accusing me."
