The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 2355: Ironclad Evidence Is Right Before Our Eyes

The person who had just told everyone to check the forum walked quickly up to him, shoving her Phone toward him, her expression anxious as she said, "Mr. Garland, look! It’s about you. Is there someone named Madeleine in your group? She’s posted on the WLA forum."

"Who did you say? Madeleine... There are so many people in the level-5 laboratory, how am I supposed to know everyone’s name."

Nathan Garland was extremely displeased at first at how rude the other person was acting, but the next second he seemed to remember who it was. His brows shot up sharply as he snatched the Phone out of her hand. "Let me see!"

The others also pulled out their Phones, all looking at the posts on the WLA forum.

According to the rules of the WLA forum, anyone who isn’t a WLA member has no qualification to log in to the forum, let alone browse the posts on it.

But today was especially strange.

The WLA forum was actually open to the public.

Even though they weren’t members of the WLA forum, they could read the posts at will.

It was obvious an administrator had opened up the permissions.

At this moment, the post on the WLA forum accusing Nathan Garland of long-term appropriation of his subordinates’ research results had been highlighted in red, bolded, and pinned to the very top.

When Nathan Garland saw the name of the poster, his eyelids twitched violently, his breath stopped, and his fingers stiffly tapped the post open.

What followed was Madeleine’s account, an accusation of how he had long used his position to seize the research成果 of the group members under him.

None of these were the truly fatal parts.

Nathan Garland wasn’t afraid of her making those things public. After all, his qualification and reputation were right there; who would believe some obscure nobody instead of him, the highly respected head of a level-5 laboratory at the institute...

But against all expectation, Madeleine provided evidence!

The evidence he had personally formatted and destroyed back then appeared before his eyes once again, and all the timestamps on those documents were earlier than when he published the成果!

For a split second Nathan Garland almost couldn’t breathe. His mind went blank, as if an invisible hand had clamped around his neck, making it impossible for him to lift his head.

He flung the Phone aside, consumed by Anger, and said, "This is framing and slander!"

Yet this time, not a single person in the office spoke up for him.

Madeleine’s evidence was too solid!

The experiment times, experiment photo, and experiment records posted on the forum all came from before Nathan Garland published those成果.

Once could still be called an accident.

Twice, three times?

Three, four times?

No one was that stupid.

And in the evidence Madeleine released, it wasn’t just Nathan Garland who was implicated; it also implicated Nathan Garland’s prized protégé, Zevaney Kingsley.

If it were only Nathan Garland getting dragged into this, one could say Madeleine had schemed for a long time just to make his life hell.

But her research成果 hadn’t only been taken by Nathan Garland; he had even handed Madeleine’s成果 over to Zevaney as a free gift to burnish her credentials.

This was ironclad proof!

It couldn’t be washed clean.

Nathan Garland’s mind was a complete blank, his thoughts a chaotic mess. After he shouted that this was framing and slander, he realized no one was echoing him.

Heart was already starting to panic.

No one echoing him meant no one believed him.

Nathan Garland couldn’t be bothered with anything else; he grabbed his coat and rushed out the door. "I’m going to the dean!"

*

Nicholas Fuller had just been forcibly dragged back by Orson Saban and was in the middle of a long lecture. He had only just managed to get a grip on his emotions and gradually calm down.

Who would have thought that in the very next second, Nathan Garland would burst in.

"What are you doing?" Nicholas Fuller looked up and saw him; his blood pressure, which had finally gone down, shot back up again, the fire in him flaring. He pointed at the door and shouted, "Get out!"
