The Shining Star Above The Heaven

Chapter 1312: Time to Retake the Second Heaven!

  • Next Chapter

Time quickly passed by, and ten days had passed.

During those days, Aldrian spent most of his time with his family. His parents had already come back from their visit, and they also discussed many things with Aldrian.

He also visited his followers who would ascend to the Second Heaven with him and told them the plan once they arrived in the Second Heaven.

He would spread all of his followers across the Second Heaven in groups, and each group would be responsible for taking control of its assigned territory with the help of the local resistance group.

He believed that with their strength, they could accomplish it despite still being outnumbered by Avergis' followers.

Moreover, the total war against Tarius' followers was ongoing, and they would not realize what hit them from behind.

Aldrian had already left a message to Heaven to send all of his followers across the Second Heaven evenly so that most of the domains would have them when the time for departure came.

As for the domains that still had not received their arrival, they had to depend on their local resistance groups until the reinforcements arrived to support them if they still could not take control of those domains.

At this moment, just as the sun rose from the eastern horizon, Aldrian already stood on the platform in the vast field within the Guardian Palace's grounds.

In front of him were thousands of his followers from the Higher Heavens, all watching him with solemn expressions. There was not a single one missing among all of the followers whom he had freed from the time-stopping formation.

It included Bai Cangming, who had already reached low immortal foundation stage.

He spent all of his time inside the time acceleration room cultivating, and he had already spent more than six years cultivating there.

With the rich Heaven and Earth energy and the resources given to him, he was able to reach that level from the Grand Duke Stage in just six years. That was truly an impressive speed that would put even the geniuses of the Higher Heavens to shame.

However, no one here was surprised because Bai Cangming had been a god in the past, so his comprehension of laws and cultivation speed were naturally extraordinary.

If he could not accomplish at least that, then his fame and status as a Divine Realm cultivator in the past would not be worthy of recognition and would be nothing but rubbish.

Truthfully, he was still too weak to participate in the war that would mostly depend on Peak Immortal Saint cultivators to achieve victory.

However, it would be wrong to just leave him behind when he had also waited for this moment for so long.

He also wanted to take action, and many knew he would be extremely pissed if he were left behind simply because he was too weak.

The Heaven-Shattering Fist Demon was someone who would not simply accept that he was too weak to fight strong enemies. He was someone who liked fighting powerful opponents, and he could fight across cultivation levels.

Someone who enjoyed the thrill of battle.

The name Heaven-Shattering Fist Demon was not just an empty title. It was a testament to his strength.

The Divine Vanguard Knight Order stood in the distance, looking at the ranks of Aldrian's followers from the Higher Heavens with determined gazes.

For this war, they would not be joining it because they were still too weak. This war was already at the level of the Immortal Realm, something that was beyond the league of every member of the Divine Vanguard.

Even the strongest among them, Xin Haotian, had not yet reached the Immortal Realm, even though all of them had already spent a long time cultivating inside the time acceleration room.

They wanted to join their emperor in going to war, but they knew that with their current strength, they would be nothing more than a burden. If they joined, they would be no more than offering their lives to their enemies for free.

They were determined to grow much stronger, much faster, so they could become a great help to their emperor in situations like this.

Behind Aldrian stood his wives and his parents, all looking at his back, which at this moment appeared so heroic.

Aldrian swept his gaze across all of his followers. He saw the expressions of anticipation as they waited for him to speak. He could sense all of their emotions, all of their fighting spirit.

They could not wait to take action.

To give those invaders a taste of despair after what they had done to their universe.

After a long moment of silence, Aldrian finally opened his lips.

"Great warriors of this universe! It is truly an honor for me to stand before the people who are ready to give everything for our future. No matter what your main profession is at this time, no matter whether you are an alchemist, a blacksmith, or a physician, all of you are great warriors who have survived until this moment." His voice could be heard by thousands of his followers.

"Despite what happened in the past and everything you have experienced, you still placed your faith in me. I know that all of you have been waiting for this moment. I have already set the stage for all of us so that you can finally unleash that burning fury inside your hearts!"

"You have already experienced the bitterness and humiliation of losing so many things, including your loved ones, when those invaders attacked our universe." Many of his followers' eyes glistened, and they could not help but grit their teeth.

Their restrained fury was clear to see.

"I can feel your burning desire for revenge. I can feel your fighting spirit! And after this, you will finally get what you desire!" Aldrian shouted. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ

"After all of you ascend to the Second Heaven, you will get your revenge, you will get your battles, and we will retake our home, our Second Heaven, our universe!"

"UWOO!" Thousands of voices roared with cries full of spirit, making even space tremble and nearly collapse.

Most of them were cultivators whose cultivation was far above the Immortal Realm. At this moment, all of them had already opened part of the seals on their cultivation, allowing their cultivation to reach peak immortal saint stage.

Their united aura, which almost broke past immortal realm when they shouted, made the space of the First Heaven almost unable to withstand them.

"I hope that when the Second Heaven is fully ours, I will not hear that anyone here has lost their life. It would be embarrassing and unbecoming of your origins, considering all of you came from Heavens far higher than the Second Heaven. How could you lose your lives fighting cultivators who are so much weaker than you?"

Many of them chuckled upon hearing the slight joke from him.

"Follow the plan, and don't forget the friends beside you. REMEMBER! You are going to fight in groups. Don't abandon your friends. Don't just think about yourselves and arrogantly try to do everything on your own. Your enemies might have something that could surprise you and put your lives in danger."

"Also, don't forget the resistance groups in the Second Heaven, as they are also our comrades. They are just like you. They are your comrades despite being much weaker than you. Their contribution is also great because it is thanks to them that I could set the stage this quickly so that we could retake the Second Heaven as soon as possible."

Aldrian swept his gaze across all of his followers once more before raising his hand, which was already clenched into a fist.

"May all of us succeed. May the glory of victory be upon us!"

"May the glory of victory be upon us!" the others shouted in unison.

"Depart!" Aldrian shouted, and at that moment, the Heavens' aura suddenly enveloped the entire vast ground. Everyone present could feel it, and at that moment, cracks of spatial rifts slowly appeared in the sky.

A portal exuding blinding light appeared beneath the floating land. All of Aldrian's followers were slowly dragged toward it by a pulling force that they could not resist.

As he watched all of his followers ascend, Aldrian then turned to look at his parents and his wives. He smiled warmly at them.

"I will be going first."

His family also smiled and nodded.

"Be careful. May you succeed, son," his mother said.

Aldrian nodded before looking at his wives.

"Once the situation is safe, I will bring you to the Second Heaven," he said softly.

All of his wives nodded.

"We will wait for you," Sylphia said.

Aldrian showed them one last smile before turning around. His expression became calm as he sent his consciousness into the avatar that had already been waiting near the Second Heaven's central region of heaven.

After his consciousness entered the avatar, which at this moment was buried deep underground, he instantly created his domain. Once the domain was created, he returned his consciousness to his real body.

"I'm departing," he said before teleporting near the central region of heaven.

His figure floated high in the sky with his hands behind his back. At this moment, his bearing was truly like an emperor looking down upon all things.

There was no amicable aura around him like there was when he was with his people or his family.

Only the aura of an absolute ruler.

He looked down at all of the temple's cultivators who were carrying out their routine patrols. The patrols instantly sensed Aldrian, as he did nothing to hide his presence.

It was as though he was announcing, "I am here. Come to me."

All of the Immortal Saint patrols were truly shocked by his sudden appearance, but they instantly assumed wary stances, and many of them approached Aldrian.

At the same time, thousands of portals appeared across the Second Heaven, stunning everyone who witnessed them.
