The Shining Star Above The Heaven
Chapter 1311: Spending Time with His Wives
Aldrian played with his little siblings for some time before he finally left with his wives. They moved to another part of the garden, looking for a more private place.
There was a pavilion in another part of the garden, located above a large pond, offering a beautiful view and a serene atmosphere.
Aldrian and his wives then sat there, and Sylphia asked the maids served them tea.
Once they had served the tea, the maids left them alone as Aldrian had instructed.
"Dear, are you okay out there? I heard that you were doing something dangerous in the Second Heaven," Sylphia asked in a concerned tone.
Aldrian smiled at her.
"I am. Don't worry, my love. I haven't met anyone capable of hurting me yet."
His answer made all three of his wives feel relieved.
His avatar in the palace actually would always report on his well-being whenever his wives came out of the time acceleration room. It was his way of reassuring them and preventing them from worrying too much.
As their pregnancies progressed, their emotions became more sensitive. To ease their worries, his avatar would regularly update them about his condition.
He did not want their heightened emotions and overthinking to affect their babies.
However, it seemed that wasn't enough. They still looked worried and wanted to hear the reassurance directly from his real body. And, he did not mind it at all.
"I see. Then that's good," Sylphia said.
"How long will you stay with us this time?" Baek Jimin asked.
Aldrian looked at her.
"At most ten days. After that, I'll have to return to the Second Heaven. Many people have already been preparing for the war that's about to happen."
Hearing that, his three wives became worried again. Sylphia gently took Aldrian's hand and brought it to her cheek. She rubbed her cheek against his hand as if she wanted to continue feeling its warmth.
"Just make sure to keep yourself safe. I think the war in the Second Heaven will be much tougher than the one in the First Heaven," she said.
Aldrian smiled at her.
"I will. Besides, other than all of my followers in the Second Heaven, I also have my followers here, and their strength is something that those powers from the Second Heaven cannot contend with. I know they've already been thirsting for action ever since I released them from the time-stopping formation."
"Maybe with our overwhelming power, we can make the war in the Second Heaven far less bloody than the one in the First Heaven. Those Avergis' followers are not like Tarius' followers, after all."
Aldrian gently stroked Sylphia's cheek.
"Could you tell us about your experiences there? I'm curious about what kind of place the Second Heaven is," Baek Jimin asked.
Aldrian smiled at her.
"Of course. Why wouldn't I tell you? I'll even tell you everything I did there."
Aldrian then began telling them his story, starting from the moment he first appeared in the Second Heaven. His wives listened with expressions full of interest, and their faces displayed a variety of emotions as his story unfolded.
They paid no attention to the passing time and simply enjoyed being together.
Without realizing it, more than six hours had passed. They not only talked about Aldrian's experiences but also discussed what had happened in the First Heaven, especially the progress of their pregnancies. They couldn't help but talk about their children's names.
Aldrian had already prepared several names for the children, but he knew his wives must have come up with some of their own as well, so he discussed them together.
At one point during their conversation, Baek Jimin looked at Aldrian.
"Dear... umm... I know you've been busy with the Second Heaven. I don't know how long it will take to resolve everything there. But if you can... could you stay with me when our child is born?" she asked with slight hesitation.
Aldrian raised his eyebrows and couldn't help but smile warmly.
"Of course I will be beside you when that time comes. How could I not be by your side when this is our first child? I don't want to miss the moment of her arrival into this world."
Hearing that, Baek Jimin gave him a relieved smile.
"However, although we still don't know the exact time when our child will be born, from what I've checked, I don't think she will be born anytime soon. It's the same as the last report from Imperial Physician Tiera. It might still take several more years before she is born," Aldrian continued.
Then he couldn't help but sigh. He cast an apologetic gaze at Baek Jimin before looking at Sylphia and Angelica as well.
"To think that our child will need such a long time to be born. I know our child will be a special case and someone extraordinary, but it's still surprising to me that it will take this long. I just feel bad that you have to carry our child for such a long time. Carrying our child in your wombs for so many years must be uncomfortable for all of you."
Sylphia and the others couldn't help but smile.
"Why are you apologizing? This is what we want, and we are truly happy to be carrying our child. Although it's true that we can't move around normally or do the same activities as before we became pregnant, we've also experienced a new sensation that makes us feel more complete. More mature," Sylphia said.
"Yes, please don't feel bad. We know that you're a special being, so our child must also be special, and we were already prepared for that. Although we will have to carry our child for years, we are completely satisfied with it," Baek Jimin said.
"Husband, please don't feel bad. We are truly happy to be carrying your child. Whenever we're together without your presence, we always talk about how our child's existence has brought us a joy we've never felt before. The new feelings and sensations we've experienced are something we truly cherish," Angelica spoke next.
Then she lowered her head slightly, feeling shy.
"And personally... I've already decided that after our child is born, I want to give you another child as well, if that's what you want," she added in a shy voice.
This made Aldrian, Sylphia, and Baek Jimin raise their eyebrows before they smiled. Sylphia then looked at Aldrian.
"Look, even Sister Angelica already has that kind of intention. So if you want another child, you can come to her first and devour her until she becomes pregnant again before coming to us," she said in a joking tone, which made Angelica blush even more.
"E-Eldest Sister, what are you talking about? I didn't mean it that way," Angelica said shyly, making Aldrian and the others chuckle.
"Well, anyway, when all of your due dates arrive, I'll definitely come back to you and stay by your side," Aldrian said.
The others smiled and nodded.
They then talked about other things for some time before his wives wanted to take a stroll with him, which he happily obliged.
They strolled through the garden for a while before they wanted to go outside the palace, a request he also fulfilled by taking them flying across the continent.
Under Aldrian's protection and control, they didn't have to fly by themselves or endure the disturbance of the wind. The sight of the sunset accompanied them as they enjoyed sightseeing across the continent until night fell.
While they were at it, Aldrian also checked on the condition of the people from the Outer Realm, especially, the Earth.
It had already been more than six months since the two realms had been connected through the twin portals.
The people from the Outer Realm had already adapted to this world. They had even built their own connections and communities here. They had also brought their culture with them, and some citizens of the Empire had already become accustomed to Earth's culture.
The most serious problem that had ever occurred between the two sides was when someone from the Outer Realm was beaten up and apprehended because they didn't know their place.
Someone had arrogantly flaunted their status from the Outer Realm before a mortal from the Inner Realm. As a result, they were repeatedly slapped by one of the city's troops before being apprehended until their family arrived, after which all of them apologized to the mortal.
The strict laws of the Aster Empire were clear to everyone.
Even though the victim was only a mortal without any cultivation, they were still a citizen of the Empire, and it would never allow anyone from outside the Empire to mistreat its people without the perpetrator receiving punishment.
Aldrian then checked the twin portals connecting the two realms. The activity at this place never quieted. Thousands entered the Inner Realm every minute.
They came from various races, and because the news regarding the Inner Realm had already spread much more widely throughout the Outer Realm, otherworlders from different planets—those who had never even set foot on Earth or had any connection to it at all—also came.
After sensing that there were no problems, Aldrian stopped paying attention to the beings from the Outer Realm and continued enjoying his time with his wives.
He still had more than a week to spend with his family before the war to retake the Second Heaven began!
