Then we talked for a few more minutes, and she genuinely blessed us to be together and gave me some advice.

I nodded to them, and finally we said goodbye to her. Nyx felt like she was completely invisible in there and used as a reference stand.

As soon as we came out from the office she glared at me.

I looked at her glare and laughed. "Do you know when you become angry you are cute?"

I grinned at her. "I have to find someone and report this. If not, some day I die by your hand and it will be portrayed as ’Great Asher dies by his girlfriend.’"

Then we went to find Miss Selena. She must have finished the class.

We went to her room and knocked on the door.

I looked at her with disdain. "What do you know, Nyx? Do you think how much effort I put into saving my merit points? And we didn’t get the resources for the last five floors. I ain’t going a single step from this academy until I get them."

Nyx looked at me. She knows how I collect those merit points, so she didn’t know how to convince me. So she decided to give this problem to the principal.

She knows the principal is ruthless but extremely values talent, so she didn’t worry the principal would do something to me.

But still she is speechless, so she too gave up and said, "Sorry, Principal. I can’t handle him."

The principal raised an eyebrow and looked at me. "Oh, merit points, huh? I remember you asking last time too. Are your points going to be deducted because I called you?"

She looked at me with a half smile.

He is now turned to normal.

I just shrugged and said, "But you have to give me a discount."

His eyes twitched, but he needs to know if there’s really a thief, so he said, "5%."

My eyes lit up. "Really? You really do that for me?"

He looked at me suspiciously and asked, "Brat, what are you up to now?"

I said in an excited voice, "I’m up to nothing. How am I not happy when you take the 5% and give me a 95% discount?"

The old man almost threw up blood in that moment.

Nyx looked at me, trying to hide a laugh bubbling in her.

The old man’s face turned red with anger. "You stinky brat. I don’t need to know the thief. I know the thief now. So go away."

"The real thief is you, brat."

My eyes twitched. "How do you know?"

The old man’s eyes twitched again. "What do you mean?"

I said, "I mean the real thief has always been in my mind. It told me, but before it had to act I killed the thought and woke you up gently."

Old man Max almost got blood pressure and died at that moment from rage.

"You...."

Nyx watched me and couldn’t stop her laughter.

I stood there with an innocent face while the old man looked ready to throw something at me. The shop smelled like oil and metal, and sunlight cut through the dusty windows.

Nyx finally covered her mouth and turned away so he wouldn’t see her shoulders shaking.

I cleared my throat. "So... about that 95%?"

"Get out!"

"Hey old man do be so cold i’m a genuine customer don’t you listen customer is always right."

"Ah no i mean customer is the god or something so be reasonable."

Old man look at me like i said something to insult him his face turned purple with rage.

"Gat out you stinky brat what god i don’t believe in those gods so gat out"

I look at me and said "hey be reasonable old man how about we talk this through out"

But he ain’t listen and kicked us both out from his shop.

Nyx just look at me from the outside of the shop.
