Chapter 502: Chapter 470: The Blazing Flame

The last day of exams ended.

Yun Jiao walked out of the school gates and immediately spotted her family standing in the crowd.

“Someone’s coming out. It’s a girl.”

“She must be the first one out. I wonder how her exams went.”

“What’s with that girl’s hair and eye color?”

Yun Jiao’s hair and eye color were so striking they immediately caught everyone’s attention.

Then there was her face and figure.

She looked just like a young lady from a prestigious family, groomed with the utmost care.

No, she seemed even more noble and refined than any of them.

“Dad, Mom, Grandpa, Grandma—why are you all here?”

“It’s not just them, we’re here too!”

Yun Xiaowu, who had been hiding in the crowd, and even Yun Chendong and Yun Chenxi all appeared.

Yun Jiao’s eyes widened slightly.

“First Brother, Second Brother, Third Brother…”

That’s right, every single one of her brothers was here.

Including Yun Xiaoqi, who had been in Shanghai.

Each of her nine brothers, with their looks and charisma, stood head and shoulders above the crowd.

But all nine of them were Yun Jiao’s brothers.

And yet, among them all, Yun Jiao was the most unique.

The entire family had gathered, all of them here to pick her up on the last day after her college entrance exams.

“Congratulations on finishing your exams, Jiaojiao!”

“Jiaojiao, let’s go home.”

Beneath the sweltering sun, its light illuminating their faces, Yun Jiao stood at the center of their loving attention, her smile radiant.

“CLICK…”

A reporter couldn’t resist taking a picture of the scene.

It was simply too beautiful.

Hearing the camera’s click, Yun Jiao looked over and met the reporter’s eyes.

She said a word to her brothers.

Yun Xiaoqi gave an “OK” sign.

He approached the reporter—not to threaten him into deleting the photo, but to ask for a few copies.

It was too memorable a day; since a picture had been taken, they definitely had to have a copy.

They didn’t stay long in the county town and returned home that same afternoon.

Yun Jiao told her brothers about her experiences abroad.

When they heard about Yun Jiao’s current assets, everyone gasped.

“Good heavens! A gold mine! Jiaojiao, you actually own a gold mine!”

Yun Xiaoqi exclaimed, “The Flame?! Sis, the Flame is yours?!”

“I heard about the Flame from my godfather! It apparently showed up about three years ago, taking out a ton of rampaging pirates. Now it’s the biggest maritime auction house and has sold all sorts of rare treasures. And it’s yours!”

Yun Xiaoqi was at a loss for words.

He’d thought he was already hardworking and wealthy enough. After all, he owned several companies, all with bright futures.

Even without inheriting his godfather’s assets, he was already considered one of the nouveau riche.

But as it turned out, his little sister had been outshining all her brothers since childhood, and even as an adult, she was still more incredible than all of them combined!

They weren’t jealous in the slightest, though. In fact, they couldn’t have been happier for her.

Yun Xiaoqi shamelessly sidled up to her.

“Sis, if my business ever expands your way, you’ve got to pull some strings for your Brother Qi.”

Her eyes crinkled with a smile. “Of course. If you want to expand over there, or if you ever need to use the Flame, just let me know, Brother Qi.”

“Oh, right. These are for you.”

She took out several ink-colored Jade Tokens. Carved on each was a Merfolk.

On the back was the name, Flame.

“This is the entrance Token for the Flame. It’s essentially a VIP Card. With it, you brothers can go directly to the third floor to attend the auctions.”

“Besides my own, I only had ten left. These nine are for you. If you ever want to go to an auction, just take this.”

“Dad, Uncle, if you want to go too, I can take you.”

‘But she figured her dad and uncle wouldn’t be interested in things like auctions, so she didn’t give them the Tokens.’

Sure enough, Yun Linhai and the others shook their heads.

“We won’t be going to that sort of thing. We’ve spent our whole lives in the countryside; we’d just feel out of place in such a high-class venue.”

Yun Jiao didn’t force them to change.

‘She earned money to live a comfortable and free life, not to force her way into high society.’

‘Her parents were most comfortable in the village, so of course, she would let them live as they wished.’

‘Forcing oneself into a circle where one didn’t belong would only lead to discomfort and unease.’

‘With her and her brothers around, they would never let their elders be wronged.’
