"A dinner party?"

Sean understood.

The person Howard mentioned who could help him was the distinguished guest visiting the Grev Family today.

In reality, he didn’t really need help, at least not with this. The worst-case scenario was just dying once, and it wasn’t as if he couldn’t afford to die. It wasn’t a big deal.

However, Howard was just looking out for him, afraid he couldn’t withstand the wrath of the Bright King’s Court alone. To be honest, it was a pretty solid move for a buddy, especially since they had only known each other for a few days. Howard was treating him like a friend, so Sean couldn’t just completely dismiss the gesture.

So Sean played along and asked, "Is this distinguished guest that impressive?"

Although Sean didn’t understand the Empire’s current class divisions and power structure, only knowing the basics, he was still very clear on what the name "Bright King’s Court" represented. Lauden, Anna, and the others had specifically explained it to him before.

It was the militant arm directly under the Pope, the final authority in all matters of law and power. Most importantly, it was filled with Grand Mages. Even the lowest-ranking Captain of the Forbidden Guard possessed the strength of a Tier Seven, which showed just how terrifying the Power of the entire Bright King’s Court was.

’To be able to pull someone from their grasp—or rather, to even *dare* to pull someone from the Bright King’s Court’s grasp—you’d have to be a Duke at the very least, right?’

Howard looked at him seriously and said, "Brother, I can tell you with full confidence, she’s even more incredible than you can imagine."

"For real?" Sean was slightly surprised.

’If I remember correctly, the masters of Austin Castle, the Potter Family, are just a Count Family, aren’t they?’

"What’s her name?" Sean asked, a little curious.

But Howard changed the subject with a sly grin. "I’m not telling you."

"You’ll find out tomorrow at the dinner party."

Sean was both exasperated and amused. "You’re just trying to keep me in suspense, aren’t you?"

Howard said, "It’d be no fun if I told you ahead of time."

He was willing to bet that Sean would never guess the distinguished guest was Daeli Duke.

After all, the Blazing Angel Family and the Grev Family were not on the same level at all. The Potter Earl Family was sandwiched right between them. From a normal person’s perspective, a Duke Family’s business would never fall to a mere Viscount Family. Even if there was something that only a specific Viscount Family possessed, like Witch Wood, the Duke Family wouldn’t come in person. It was far more likely they would delegate the task to a Marquis or a Count Family, who would then come to them.

And even then, they would just send representatives.

The classes were different. When doing business with those of a lower station, the Clan Leader of the High Nobles would never make a personal appearance.

And yet, Daeli Duke had come.

Howard still couldn’t figure out why Daeli Duke would come in person.

And if he couldn’t figure it out, there was no way Sean could.

The main reason was that Howard didn’t know how to describe Daeli Duke.

If he told Sean now, Sean would most likely ask him what the female Duke looked like and if she was beautiful.

Of course, she was stunningly beautiful.

But Howard felt that the word "beautiful" alone was not enough to describe Daeli Duke’s aura.

The same went for Daeli Duke’s younger sister.

Miss Elvire was also very pretty.

Howard knew he wasn’t very eloquent, so he decided not to say anything at all.

He’d just let Sean see for himself tomorrow night. He guaranteed the guy would be absolutely floored!

"Fine, fine, don’t tell me then," Sean said, feigning annoyance. "I’ll have to take a good, close look myself to see if this person is really as incredible as you say."

"Guaranteed."

Howard said, reminding Sean again, "Whatever you do, don’t be late."

Sean was the friend he was bringing, so in a way, Sean represented him. If Sean was late, it was the same as him being late, and he would get an earful.

Besides, it was their first meeting; Sean needed to make a good impression on Daeli Duke.

"Seven in the evening, right?"

Sean said, "Alright, got it. I’ll be there on time."

"Ok," Howard said. "If there’s nothing else, I’ll head back?"

"Hey, wait." Sean stopped him. "You still haven’t told me how to find that friend of yours, the information broker."

"Oh, right. I forgot all about that," Howard said, sitting back down. He took a small notebook and a fountain pen from his breast pocket, wrote down an address, and handed it to Sean.

"Go here to find her."

"Her name is Owl. She’s a woman with long, curly, blonde hair. She has a mole on the corner of her right eye, and her cup size is about a C..."

"Hold on." The more Sean listened, the weirder it sounded. "I’m going to her for help investigating someone, not for a blind date. Do you need to be this detailed?"

’He’s even telling me her cup size. If this keeps up, I’m afraid Howard’s going to tell me the color of her underwear. How rude...’

"You don’t get it," Howard said without explaining. "Just make sure you remember all the features I just described."

"After you get there, don’t say anything, and don’t mention that I sent you. Just find her."

"Alright," Sean said. "So, tell me again, what was her cup size?"

Howard: "B."

"Huh?" Sean said. "Didn’t you just say C?"

Howard gave Sean a look that said, ’Heh, men.’ "You remembered, and yet you still had to ask?"

Sean replied without batting an eye, "I just wanted to double-check."

"No need to double-check. It’s C," Howard said, glancing at his watch. "I have to go take inventory of some materials. You guys get some rest."

"No need to see me out."

Howard stood up and left.

Sean watched him leave and closed the door. He then turned to look at the silent Elise for a moment and asked, "So, what size are you?"

He wanted a point of comparison.

"Magic Type," Elise replied.
