"Mr. Carlos, Sean and his people are on the move!"

「Three days later.」

The Royal Opera House, once again.

Carlos adored elegant dance and music, for not only did it let him admire beautiful women, but it also made him feel elegant himself.

Normally, no one would dare disturb Carlos’s refined pastimes. The consequences would be severe.

But for truly important matters—like the recent destruction of Florist Castle—a little recklessness was permissible.

Carlos had given ironclad orders to keep a close watch on Sean. So, the moment there was news, his subordinate had rushed to the opera house to report.

As he burst into the performance hall, the piano music from the stage once again came to an abrupt halt.

With his eyes still closed, Carlos asked, "What move? Speak."

Not daring to leave out a single detail, the subordinate said, "According to our informant, Sean and Flame Crow drove out of Alola Town early this morning for Kendili City. They should be at the airport by now."

"Is your informant reliable?" Carlos asked.

The subordinate nodded. "He is."

"They specialize in this line of work. Many private organizations in Siracle State work with them to get intelligence."

"Mr. Carlos, do you remember Grey Bird Logistics? We’ve given them jobs before."

"The Sea Witch’s company?" Carlos asked.

"Yes," the subordinate said. "Mr. Sabeck gets almost all of his intel from them, too."

"Good!"

Carlos’s eyes snapped open. "Sean, oh Sean. You’ve finally come to me."

"How many of them are there in total?"

"Around ten. The exact number is unclear; they’re all in disguise."

"Then we’ll assume it’s ten." Carlos’s eyes were brimming with murder.

’He knew without even asking. Sean and his people were undoubtedly heading for Sonaros State.’

"Ten kilograms of special-grade explosives for each of my men. Find a few people to sneak onto their flight, and blow that plane out of the sky for me!"

The subordinate: "???"

’Blow up a plane??’

He jumped in alarm and hurriedly said, "Mr. Carlos, don’t be reckless!"

’A plane isn’t something you can just blow up on a whim!’

’This is an act of extreme violence. It would be impossible to cover up.’

’If the Church Court were to get involved, I don’t know if Sean’s group would die, but we’d definitely be finished!’

Carlos sneered. "Didn’t someone already blow up a plane last time? I didn’t see the Church Court say anything."

"Besides, can’t you use that brain of yours and pin it on the Florist Family?"

The subordinate hesitated. "The Florist Family?"

"Weren’t they wiped out?"

Carlos: "?"

’He was getting the urge to curse someone out again.’

"Do you fucking understand what ’dead men tell no tales’ means?"

’It’s precisely because the Florist Family was wiped out that they’re the perfect ones to frame, the perfect scapegoats.’

’Sean’s group launched a sneak attack on Florist Castle, wiping out the Florist Family. A few lucky survivors, consumed by a blood feud, swore an oath of vengeance. They became human bombs, strapping hundreds of kilograms of explosives to their bodies and following Sean’s group onto the plane. Once the aircraft was airborne and there was no escape, they would resolutely detonate the explosives.’

’What a moving, tragic, and perfectly plausible story.’

’As long as the job is clean and all loose ends are tied up, no one will ever discover that the Wolf Family was pulling the strings.’

’What’s more, the Wolf Family is based in Krim State and has never had any prior contact with Sean’s group. They have no recent grievances, no past grudges—at least, not publicly. Suspicion would never even fall on them.’

"But, Mr. Carlos..."

"’But’ what?"

’Carlos was getting genuinely angry. He’d explained everything so clearly, yet this fool still didn’t get it. Did he have to do everything himself!?’

The subordinate whispered, "I was trying to say... our informant couldn’t find any record of their plane tickets. They might be taking a private jet..."

Carlos: "?"

"Then why the fuck didn’t you say so earlier!"

’Damn that Sean. He’s fucking loaded.’

’All the more reason to make that bastard pay up.’

’No one takes from the Wolf Family and gets away with it!’

"You think I can’t touch you just because you’re on a private jet?"

Carlos’s expression darkened. "You have to land sometime."

On the spot, he pulled out his phone and called Bofunova.

Due to the time difference, it was already dark in Sonaros State.

At that moment, Bofunova was soaking in her bathtub.

Her bathtub was custom-made from a material resembling frosted glass. Though the surface of the water was covered in a thick layer of foam, it couldn’t completely hide the stunning curves of her bust. Her waist and legs, submerged beneath, were faintly visible through the tub’s side—a tantalizing silhouette, as if draped in translucent silk. It was a pity no one was worthy of appreciating such a sight.

"What is it, Mr. Carlos?"

"Calling so late? Did I forget to pay you for the last job?"

A servant brought the phone to Bofunova, and her words were dripping with sarcasm the moment she opened her mouth.

’It couldn’t be helped. That guy Carlos was notoriously stingy.’

’She disliked stingy men to begin with, and now he was interrupting her downtime. It would be a miracle if she sounded pleasant.’

Normally, Carlos would have thrown a few sarcastic remarks right back.

’Payment for services rendered is a matter of course. Am I supposed to let the creditor act like my master?’

But Carlos had real business this time and had no time to trade barbs with this woman. He said bluntly, "I’ve received word. Sean is on a plane to your Sonaros State."

"Oh?"

Bofunova’s interest was piqued. "He really has the nerve to come here?"

Carlos sneered. "The man dared to kill people in New Eldo. Is there anything he wouldn’t dare to do?"
