The heroes want to kill me

A man could be seen breathing rough, hard breaths while also supporting his aching, wounded body.

He doesn’t understand what’s truly happening. Once he turned incorporeal, no known weapon could ever hurt him, and he hasn’t even seen supernatural powers that could hurt him. So how he got injured from a gunshot wound is beyond him.

He continues to hold the injury on his chest. He presses hard on it to stop the bleeding. He then continues to walk towards the place that could possibly save him from all this.

He was walking from corridor to corridor, passing tight passages, trying to stay out of the eyes of people.

He doesn’t understand how the villain Lupingo found his location, and with the wound on his body, he doesn’t have the mind to understand. All he wants to do now is stay out of people’s way. Maybe people may help him or not, he doesn’t know. All he knows is that he has to reach his destination.

His vision was feeling very cloudy, his body feeling heavy. It is putting a heavy strain on his body just to move it, and it’s getting too hard. He felt like giving up already and just accepting death.

He couldn’t help but look back and think of what could possibly put him in the situation he found himself in.

He is a hero, for goodness’ sake. The eye of the citizen and all that. So why would someone like him be shot by a villain?

He hasn’t done anything that relates to that villain, and he is very sure about that.

Although he has done some underhanded deals underneath. Drugs, he has done it. Even killing thousands, he has done it.

He has eaten and dined with the big bosses from the dark side. So what’s this all about? He knows that he hasn’t come across this villain at all. He felt that the villain was just an upstart when the villain came out and started popping. He saw some of his Livestreams of him torturing villains, and he loved the videos. But still, the villain wasn’t much in his eyes. So why would he come to attack him?

Maybe one of his enemies sent someone for him. But the one question is, how did they attack him while he was incorporeal? That shouldn’t be possible at all.

You know that saying that says when someone is close to death, their mind tends to go to different places. They tend to think unnecessary thoughts. Maybe that’s what is going through his mind now.

As he kept walking, he tried to keep his rationality alive, but it was getting too hard to even think straight at all. His mind was getting cloudy, and it felt slow.

The corridors that he kept passing had opened to an open space. There is no more place to go. Even though he still kept walking while also pressing hard on his chest that kept on releasing blood like a leaking tap.

He walked towards the crowd. He tried to act normal among the crowd, but some could already see his blood-colored cloth. He couldn’t hide it very well. When they saw it, some of them removed their eyes away and faced forward, while some came towards him to help him.

As those good people came towards him, they could see his unfocused eyes darting from one place to another in fright. They could see that he was afraid, like he was running from something.

"Please, I need your phone now," he said silently with his already drained voice.

The person he was talking to didn’t hear, so they asked him what he said and then moved closer.

"I said I need your phone, now," he said with all the energy he could possibly muster.

Thankfully the person heard, but before the person could give him the phone, he heard a voice.

"Hello there 🤗, it’s your favorite person, I, Lupingo!"

"I know, I know, I am a villain, but I am still your favorite, am I not?"

"But don’t be surprised. I won’t hurt you at all. I just want to have a very peaceful talk with that man over there."

"I know he’s bleeding. Don’t worry, put your mind at rest. Help has arrived."

"Oh, you can do it. Don’t worry, I will do it. If I won’t help a poor citizen like that man, who would I help then?"

The bleeding hero felt a chill just from hearing the statement from the man. He doesn’t feel safe at all from the sound of the voice.

When he looked at the person talking, he understood the reason why he felt chill. He finally knew why he felt unsafe from that voice.

That voice’s owner was the despicable one, Lupingo.

The person who put him in his current situation.

The person who shot an unknown bullet at his incorporeal form for reasons unknown.

He couldn’t see the smile on Lupingo’s face due to his mask, but he felt that the bastard was smiling.

Smiling at his situation, after putting him there.

Maybe now that he is here, he can receive the reason why he was shot, because he was sure he didn’t do anything to him at all.

And he is sure that Lupingo doesn’t kill for no reason. After all, during his Livestreams, he always explains why the villains deserve their crime. He is a hero, and he always supports the killing of villains in whatever way it comes.

And even if Lupingo tried to kill him again, he can threaten him with the life of this good Samaritan to save himself.

He knows that Lupingo doesn’t kill innocent people even though he is a villain, and that would work for him.

The life of one stranger, or even a thousand strangers, does not compare to me, Ryan Manches, the Incorporeal Hero. I can save one thousand people in return after I am well and okay in exchange.

"Stand up, dear Incorporeal Hero. I know even with the wound you can still stand upright and leave the side of that innocent bystander," Lupingo said.

The bystander who has already forgotten to run from seeing a villain. They are now interested in the ensuing drama that’s happening.

They were surprised by the words Lupingo said about the Incorporeal Hero. They saw the man Lupingo called the Incorporeal Hero, and yet their mind couldn’t fit the image of the Incorporeal Hero with the man. They look very different.

First, the hero was more thin and had a muscular body, but the man here doesn’t have that. First, he is chubby in a kind of manner. He also has a small pot belly. There is no sign of that muscular body at all.

And even if we ignore the fact that they haven’t seen the Incorporeal Hero’s real face before, as he is always wearing a mask to protect his identity, the hero there does not fit the Incorporeal Hero at all. They were sure that he looked shorter than the actual hero.

Maybe Lupingo was talking about another person, because it can’t be the man lying on the floor.

"Ugh," he made a groaning sound.

His body was in pain. He wants to stand up to put the plan in motion, but his body felt heavy and extremely painful.

But even with that, he has to ask a question. His life depends on it.

"Lupingo!! What did I do to deserve this? I haven’t done anything to you. Although I am one of the heroes of Ireland, I am sure I haven’t done anything to reach your side," he said with his groaning voice.

"That’s true, Mr. But you see, I am a villain, and I don’t need any reason to attack a hero at all, do I?"

Lupingo said in a questioning manner.

"But you don’t attack innocent people like me," he said with a shaking voice, even though he knew that he wasn’t innocent at all.

"I don’t know who spread that, but who said you were ever innocent, Mr. Incorporeal? If anybody comes out and calls themselves innocent, you shouldn’t ever dare to call yourself that. That’s just an insult to every truly innocent person out there," Lupingo said with the same calm voice.

He said it with the voice of someone who was reading a script, or doing a play.

"Save me, save me, don’t kill me. I am innocent. I am not the person you are truly looking for. You don’t have to do anything. Just take me to the hospital, and you can go on your way. You don’t have to pay any money. I would pay everything, and I won’t even sue. I would make sure whatever happened here remains buried," he said.

"That’s nice of you, Mr. Incorporeal. But whoever said I need the matter to be buried? I need the matter to spread far and wide, to everywhere, to every hidden corner out there. Your death 💀 would make a very trending story. #Lupingo killed the hero Incorporeal#. That would even be a very trending topic on ’Y’," Lupingo said with that same voice.
