THE GOD EATER
Chapter 1133: Contributions For The Divine Mountain.
They also sensed that of the 56.79 billion Domain Power, their Mountain Lord was responsible for 56.7 billion. So their Mountain Lord was currently responsible for 99.84% of the power of the Divine Mountain.
Therefore, until they could have a majority contribution of at least 50.1% like the current Mountain Lord, the only way to become the next Mountain Lord is to acquire the same amount of contribution as the Mountain, resist the suppression of the Mountain Lord, ascend the Divine Mountain, challenge the Mountain Lord to a fight, and defeat him.
Even if they kill the Mountain Lord, the Divine Crystal wouldn’t become theirs. Instead, the Divine Crystal would fall to the person with the second-highest contribution in the Divine Mountain. Therefore, the only way to become the Mountain Lord is to help the Divine Mountain become stronger.
Upon sensing the things they needed to do to usurp the Mountain Lord, some of them became frustrated.
"Damn it. This is not fair."
"We just arrived at the Sea of Worlds. We haven’t had time to gather our Domain Power. Can the caretaker remove some of these requirements?" another person said in frustration.
In fact, they didn’t wait for an answer. They already took out their tablet of communication to complain to their caretakers.
Only Boku Boku was silent. He seemed to be contemplating something.
During his contemplation, he took out some celestial gold. It was ten units of celestial gold.
He glanced at the divine gold and looked at it for a while. After making a seemingly difficult decision, he tossed the celestial gold into the golden mountain.
As soon as the celestial gold struck the golden mountain, it melted and fused into the golden mountain. Then three more phantom figures appeared at the bottom of the Divine Mountain, making a total of 11 phantom figures. The latest three were white fog, nondescript figures like the earlier eight.
"It worked," Boku Boku said in excitement. "We can improve our contribution this way.
Even without telling them, the other seven could perceive what he had done. They saw in the Divine Mountain that the value of his contribution had increased by 10.
Of the previous 56.79 billion square kilometers of Domain Power, he was responsible for 10 million square kilometers. But now the Divine Mountain was valuing his Domain Power at 100 million square kilometers, which raised the total Domain Power to 56.88 billion square kilometers.
Of course, this level of increase only raised his percentage contribution from 0.0176% to 0.176%. It was far too little to threaten the position of the Mountain Lord.
However, this gave Boku Boku and the other seven hope to dethrone their Mountain Lord. When they looked at Boku Boku, who, because of the increase in his contribution, could now move up the mountain a little bit more than he could before, they felt hope.
One of the eight said with a smile, "So aside from Domain Power, we can compete with celestial gold too. That’s not bad. I doubt this indigene could be as rich as us."
"Don’t be so sure," another snorted and said. "Didn’t you see that celestial gold was lying around everywhere when we arrived? I bet the indigenes have stockpiled a lot of it."
A third said in enlightenment, "I was wondering why a barren Domain such as this had celestial gold just lying about. I’m guessing the celestial gold is remnants from the previous Divine Mountains that were shattered."
The fourth one said with pride, "Forget about celestial gold. In at most one year, my three worlds would become Super Worlds. At that time, I would be able to compete with these indigene even in the aspect of Domain Power."
As for Boku Boku, he wasn’t talking. He wasn’t talking because he was too busy pouring all of the celestial gold into the golden mountain.
When he added a total of 16 celestial gold, a fourth extra phantom figure appeared at the bottom with them. When the celestial gold became 25, a fifth extra phantom figure appeared.
One more phantom figure appeared when the total celestial gold in the divine mountain became 36, 49, 64, 81, and 100, making for a total of 10 extra phantom figures. The value of his contribution also increased in tandem.
He stopped when he reached 100 units of celestial gold. At this point, his contribution had increased in value by 100 times.
So the total Domain Power had become 57.78 billion square kilometers, and his contribution had increased from 0.0176% to 1.73%.
Just as he was feeling excited by his progress, the ten extra phantoms he created were occupied by ten different Dao Lords. The ten new members also brought a Domain Power of an average of 11 million square kilometers with them, raising the total Domain Power by 110 million square kilometers.
So the total contribution of Domain Power increased from 57.78 to 57.89 billion square kilometers. This was a good thing for the Divine Court, as it meant that they would be able to reach the next milestone for the amplification of the Divine Mountain faster.
However, this was a bad thing for Boku Boku because his contribution fell from 1.73% to 1.727%. This wasn’t so bad at first, but it got bad when everyone began contributing their celestial gold to the Divine Mountain to help it grow and increase their contributions.
While this was going on, another thing happened that changed the dynamics of the competition. Many of the other Gemini younglings had hesitated to participate in the struggle for the Divine Mountain because they were concerned about the rule banning fighting.
They had received this rule a day ago when they just arrived. So instead of trying to fight for the limited spots, they sent a message to their caretakers asking for permission.
Fortunately, they soon received a message from their humanoid bull caretakers saying, "Fighting for Divine Mountains doesn’t count as breaking the rules as long as you fight with your avatars."
