The only difference was that they could see that there was a golden crystal within the chest of this phantom, signifying that this person was in control of the Divine Crystal and was the lord of this Divine Mountain.

As for the other eight phantoms, they were vague, faint, and had no figures. They were basically pillars of white form without substance and identity.

When some of the Dao Lords moved closer to the golden mountain, they realized their figures were shrinking. Apparently, the closer they got to the golden mountain, the smaller they became relative to the golden mountain, making the golden mountain appear bigger and bigger to them.

Rightfully so, these Dao Lords began to panic. Even those who were outside and were not affected felt a wave of fear wash over them when they saw that the ones who got closer to the Divine Mountain were shrinking.

Everyone was spooked by the turn of events, taking a step back in fear for their lives. While they were wondering what to do, the phantom figure at the top of the golden mountain moved.

Loki controlled his avatar to say, "As the Mountain Lord, I was given two chances. I could decide who gets to join my Divine Mountain, or I could let the people decide with their strength. I chose the latter."

"If you think you have what it takes to take my Divine Spark and replace me, feel free to join my Divine Court and challenge me. To join the Olympic Court, send a drop of your divine blood or a phantom of your godhead to the Divine Mountain and let it use it to create an avatar for you."

He pointed at the phantoms and said, "As you can see, there are only eight slots available in my Divine Court. So the first eight get to have this opportunity first."

"When one of the phantoms becomes your avatar, you have successfully joined my Divine Court. But just like you can challenge me, you can also be challenged by the other people who believe they are better than you. I wish you good luck," he said with a smile.

Then the phantom froze and stopped moving.

By this time, more than a hundred Dao Lords had arrived. Plus, his voice was very loud, so many more Dao Lords heard what he said.

This fusion also created a connection between the Dao Lords and the Divine Mountains, allowing them to purge their Entropy through the golden mountain at the rate of 20 units per second. This privilege would cost them 20 years of lifespan per second.

Not only that, but the capacity for Entropy of the Dao Lords also increased by the value of their Authority. A second ago, their capacity for Entropy was Rank * Total Divinity * Total Volume of Supreme Metacs. But now it was Rank * Total Divinity * Total Volume of Supreme Metacs * Authority.

Finally, being on the Divine Mountain had raised their standing among Dao Lords, qualifying them to have a higher Authority in their pathway. So their Authority changed from 10 to 20, which doubled their power.

These were just the benefits from becoming a member of the Divine Court. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to satisfy them.

"If being a complete Dao Lord is this good, what about the benefits of becoming a Mountain Lord?" one of the Dao Lords, Boku Boku, asked in surprise.

He wasn’t the one who was surprised by these benefits. Their caretakers and teachers hadn’t taught them any of these, so they didn’t know beforehand that these kinds of benefits could be had.

But they quickly got over their surprise and turned to look at the summit of the golden mountain with sharp, gleaming eyes. Then all of their avatars took a step forward to ascend the mountain.

However, just as the avatars moved, they realized that they were stuck. Whenever they moved side to side, there was no problem. The problem appeared when they tried to climb the mountain.

They were baffled by the turn of events, looking around in confusion. Fortunately, it didn’t take them long to find out what the problem was. As their Divine Spirits delved into the golden mountain, they saw that what was blocking them was vast world power coming from the Mountain Lord.

With a quick inspection, they also realized that the vast world power was the power of Loki’s Domain attribute and that it was what was responsible for all of the benefits that they were currently enjoying.

So by adding more Domain Power, they would make the Divine Mountain stronger, which would benefit everyone in the Divine Court. But only someone who had as much contribution as Loki could ascend the mountain to challenge him.

Currently, there was a total of 56.79 billion Domain Power in the Divine Mountain. Because this amount of Domain Power was greater than 10 billion, everyone in the Divine Court got a boost of 10 to their Authority.

By sensing carefully, they perceived that the next boost would come when the total Domain Power reached 100 billion. Until then, they were stuck with their current boosts.
