Chapter 1134: Struggle For The Divine Court.

The stern voice of their caretaker came out from the cube communicator, saying, "However, fighting between your true bodies will still be penalized regardless of the motivation for fighting. You have been warned."

After speaking,the hologram of the bull headed caretaker stopped being projected by the cube. As the hologram disappeared, the younglings that were previously hesitant immediately sent the projections of their godheads into the Divine Mountain.

When the Divine Mountain received their energy signatures, it checked to see if they were worthy. It checked their Domain Power, and if it was higher than the Domain Power of any member of the Divine Court, it allowed the challenge to proceed.

For those who didn’t meet the requirements for challenge, their projected power was discarded. But for those who met the minimum requirement, the Divine Mountain created an avatar for them to fight with.

After an avatar formed, it walked over to the Divine Mountain. Next, it approached any phantom at the bottom of the Divine Mountain that it could reach with its Domain Power.

So not every member of the Divine Court could be challenged by just anyone. Only those who had smaller Domain Power could be challenged by the avatar and be forced to prove why they deserve this spot in the Divine Court.

The Divine Mountain based the challenge on Domain Power because that was the most important foundation of its power. But since Domain Power wasn’t everything determining the power of Dao Lords, who would win the fight wasn’t certain.

To make the fight fair, the Divine Mountain removed the amplification of Authority during the fight. So the two avatars could only fight with their Rank, Divinity, and Supreme Metacs.

Because more and more celestial gold was added to the Divine Mountain, more slots were opened up, and more Dao Lords joined Olympus Divine Court. As more Dao Lords joined, more celestial gold was added, which created more slots, which in turn led to more people contributing towards the growth of the Divine Mountain.

Eventually, the growth of the Divine Mountain through celestial gold slowed because it took more and more celestial gold to add more slots to the Divine Court.

Exactly 100 units of celestial gold had been enough to add 10 slots. But when the total contribution increased to 900 celestial gold, there were only 30 extra slots, not 90. After this point, one more slot required 61 units of celestial gold, not 4 like when Boku Boku was adding celestial gold.

Eventually, the total contribution stalled at 11,400 celestial gold. This was because they had an average of 100 celestial gold. At this point, there were now 106 extra slots and a total of 114 subordinates of the Mountain Lord. None of the 114 had enough to increase the contribution needed to add one more slot.

However, this was just for the moment. The contribution was so intense between the members that they would do anything to find more celestial gold to add.

The competition between the members of the Divine Court and the challengers was also intense. In fact, this level of competition was even more intense than the one between the members fighting for contribution.

The more slots were opened, the more younglings learned about the benefits of joining a Divine Court, and the more they spread the news. So the more people joined the Divine Court, the more people learned how great it was to be a member of a Divine Court.

This spread of information was the fuel motivating the competition to join the Divine Court. As time went on, more Dao Lords learned about it, so more Dao Lords came to Olympus to fight for the opportunity to join it, causing the fighting to escalate over time.

The competition led to the replacement of some of the members of the Divine Court, which in turn led to the supply of more celestial gold because the new members also tried to increase their contributions to the Divine Court.

What’s more, none of the celestial gold that was contributed could be taken away. And because only those with a greater Domain Power get to replace the members, no matter how the competition raged, the Divine Mountain always came out stronger.

While sitting on top of the golden mountain, Loki saw all of these things clearly and was able to perceive the changes within the golden mountain even more clearly.

He saw more and more Dao Lords gather around the Divine Mountain over time. In just an hour, over 5 thousand Dao Lords had arrived. Among them, he saw a humanoid wolf with black fur and two black pythons as its tail.

The humanoid wolf also looked up at the golden mountain to stare at him. Then the humanoid wolf grinned menacingly at him before walking up to the golden mountain.

As he watched, the humanoid wolf sent an avatar to compete for the mountain. From there, the avatar was judged to have met the requirement to challenge a member of Olympus.

Unfortunately, the avatar was weak. It was only a two-celestial, so it failed to win the fight.

After its avatar was destroyed, the true body of the black humanoid wolf outside the golden mountain smiled at Loki and said, "Don’t be so glad. I am not done yet."

As he teased Loki, he created another avatar to join the Divine Mountain. However, he chose to challenge someone else this time. The person he chose seemed to be weaker than the first person.

"Hmmp," Loki snorted in response.

Then he swept his Divine Spirit and Divine Perception through the avatar of his son. He saw two Supreme Metacs within his son, one of which was a Cosmic Dao while the other was a Grand Dao.

The Cosmic Dao was a Supreme Metac he was very familiar with. It was the Devouring Supreme Metac. Since it was stolen from him, there was no way he wouldn’t recognize it.

However, the Devouring Supreme Metac looked a little bit different now.
