He looked at Amy with bloodshot eyes and said, "Do you want to know why I did this, huh?"

"Fine, I’ll tell you."

"It’s because of you..."

Then he smiled a mocking smile. "The great Seraphina Starlight’s daughter."

She sneered. "Everything from childhood handed to you. This is the only chance I have to get the next head of the family."

Amy just watched him. No emptiness, no emotion in her eyes. She just looked at him like a joke.

I just looked at him too, getting bored. "Hey, Amy, just be over with this trash. This kind of trash ruined the mood."

And my cold gaze moved to him. "If you think you can have the head of the family, you are dreaming. You trash, even if Amy didn’t get it, I could step in at the last moment and still manage to get it."

His eyes turned to me, bloodshot. "You... you are the reason I failed. You bastard—"

At that, I punched him in the stomach. "Mind your words, trash. You are in no position to insult us."

Amy just raised a hand and stopped me. "Gray, stop. I need to know more."

I looked at her, took a step back, and went to Luna’s side. Astrid just watched us. She did not intend to participate.

Amy just stared at him. Nothing flashed through her eyes. No fear, no helplessness, or even joy.

Lucas spoke, "So what? I tried to drug you. Do you think my father will take this? He won’t let me happen to a thing."

Then he just looked at Amy and me. "Huh, someone like you never understands what it means to have a father backing you..."

Luna flinched a little, but Amy and I didn’t even flinch. We didn’t care about having such a cold father. Our mother gave us more than enough love.

We just looked at his joke of a performance.

Then Amy spoke in a calm voice that sent chills down. "So, Lucas, tell me what are you hoping to achieve from drugging me? You clearly know if you do something, you are finished."

Then she thought for a moment and replied, "Either way, you and your pathetic father are finished when Mom finds out. No one can save you. Family, not even Grandma."

He looked at Amy, eyes wide. "What do you mean?"

Amy just sighed. "Do you really think we need you? This head of the family position is something I have to get voted and elected for, that I need you and the other branch family’s approval or something?"

"This is the Starlight family, not some beggar family who asks for help. We don’t ask for help."

"We command them by force. If they disobey, we just take care of them too."

His eyes widened.

But Amy continued, "Do you think the other branch families accepted Mom?"

She laughed with amusement. "No one just supports Mom. She crushed them with her power and made them bow to her. That’s how she became the head of the family."

"Just like tomorrow, I’m going to crush all the others to become the next head. So do you think I give a shit about you or your pathetic father? There’s none."

I watched Lucas’s face slowly turn from amusement to terror.

Luna just placed a hand over her mouth and laughed. This was the exact same thing with her mom. She took the throne; the throne wasn’t given to her.

Astrid looked at Amy with appreciation. She knew how Seraphina got her position. It wasn’t by begging. It was by dominating.

Then something hit my head. "Hey, Lucas or whatever, tell me, is this only in you...?"

My eyes narrowed.

He just frowned, and he knew this was the dead end, but still, he refused to talk.

I looked at Amy. "Do you mind if I take over a little?"

She looked at me and just shrugged. "Do whatever you want."

I used Abyss and Devour on him and said, "Keep talking. If not, when this ends, all of your strength and lifespan will be drained."

His eyes widened, and he felt himself getting weaker little by little.

So he just blurted out, "No. I made a connection with someone to get the full support of their family as long as I deliver Amy to him while drugged."

"He is waiting for Amy."

A bloodthirsty smile appeared on my face.

Amy looked at him, her face showing absolute coldness.

Luna looked at him with utter disgust.

Astrid just frowned, but still, she kept her cool. She wanted us to take care of it.

I looked at Amy. "Hey, Amy, I have a fantastic idea."

A cruel, playful smile played on my face.

Amy looked at me, confused, and asked, "What is it?"

I took out the drug and showed it to her. "This is the drug. How about we give it to him and do the same?"

Amy was still confused.

And he just sneered. "What, you brat? Do you think I never tasted a girl before? Even if you drug me, it won’t make a difference. I’ll just enjoy it."

Luna looked at him with growing disgust.

And Amy just nodded. "That’s right, Gray. This trash will just enjoy it."

I just yawned and said, "Amy, you misunderstood me."

"I said I’m going to do what he tried to do to you."

She nodded. "Yeah, that’s too light, and this bastard would just enjoy it."

I shook my head. "No, you still didn’t get it. I mean, let’s drug him, and the other person is not a girl. It’s the person he prepared for you. Isn’t that interesting to watch?"

Behind us, Astrid tried to hold off her laugh.

Luna covered her mouth, extremely trying to hold off her laughter.

We both looked at Lucas, whose face went pale and filled with terror.

Luna on the side of me whispered, "You are evil."

I just whispered back, "Not as evil as you, Princess. You enjoy this more than us."

She giggled at that. She really enjoyed the show.

Lucas screamed for help. I looked at him and said, "You know something? I have the Space element. I isolated this section, so no sound will escape."

My smile widened, and I looked at Astrid and gave her the drug. "You know what to do, right, Astrid? Find the other person who is waiting for Amy and..."

She nodded and smiled. "Hmm, little Gray, you became quite the cruel person."

I pointed a finger at Luna. "It’s all her influence."

Luna stood there and blinked, then pointed a finger at herself. "Me...?"

Amy and Astrid laughed at that.

Luna didn’t hesitate. "You... dare to slander me?"

I showed it to Astrid. "See? Drop of a hat, she’s going to violence."

Then I looked at Amy. "Hey, how about we return to the banquet? It’s your birthday, so you need to enjoy it."

Amy nodded, the coldness fading away as a warm smile appeared on her face. "Thanks, Gray, but even without you, your amazing sister will be fine. I have guards."

Then she called, and a figure from the shadows appeared.

I nodded. "I sensed her."

Both Amy’s and her eyes widened. "What? How’s that possible?"

I just shrugged and said, "Did you forget my Perception? I can see through space itself, so she is technically in another space. So I can sense her."

Amy just smiled and brushed my hair. "Ah, my freakishly powerful brother."

"Let’s go."

Then we left. We heard the pleading of Lucas and screams that said, "Don’t do it!" But Astrid just looked at him, and his mouth shut immediately. She went to find that person and do the deed and left.

We didn’t need to worry about trash like him.

I just casually said, "I really want to see that cold father’s expression when he sees his son after this."

Amy laughed at that. "So we just keep it a secret until all the things come out."

"If not, you know Mom’s temper. She’ll kill them all before we can see the show."

I grinned and nodded.

Luna on the side said, "You two are really evil."

Amy just smirked. "You’re the one to talk, Miss Luna the Princess. I heard lots of things happened in the past from Elena."

My eyes lit up. "Tell me, Amy. I know Luna is evil, but there’s no evidence. Give me the evidence."

Luna just hit me. "Shut up."

I laughed, and we all left to the birthday party.
