Mia continued pacing while Sienna watched her with amusement.

From the way she was behaving, Sienna was almost certain Mia would accidentally reveal Zachary’s secret to their other best friends the moment she got too excited. Mia had never been particularly good at hiding her curiosity, and now she had been handed gossip that involved Zachary Sterling, her and his famous ex-girlfriend.

"Mia, don’t worry," Sienna finally said, her voice soft as she tried to calm her down. A warm smile appeared on her lips. "I will tell them myself when the time comes, and there’s an opportunity to do it. You don’t have to carry this secret forever. I promise."

Mia finally stopped pacing and looked at her. "Really promise?"

"Yes, really, really promise."

Mia let out a long sigh of relief before rushing over to the sofa in the corner and dropping onto it. "You made me feel like my knees had turned to jelly with this sudden gossip."

Sienna burst out laughing at the strange comparison. "Well, you’re the one who asked me."

She stood from her chair and walked over to join Mia on the sofa. Once she sat down, Mia turned toward her, looking much more relaxed now that she knew she wouldn’t have to keep the secret forever.

After a moment, Mia’s curiosity returned.

"By the way, would you mind telling me why she came here?"

The smile on Sienna’s lips disappeared as soon as she remembered her earlier conversation with Jessica Simmons. The question brought back everything that had happened in the café, from Jessica asking about her marriage to the way she had reacted after hearing Zachary’s voice.

Sienna leaned back against the sofa and took a quiet breath. She had hoped that once Jessica left, she wouldn’t have to think about the encounter again. Unfortunately, Mia had just opened the subject all over again.

"No. I’ll tell you. She came here because she wanted to ask me something about my husband," Sienna finally said, her voice becoming more serious.

Mia’s eyebrows lifted immediately. "About your husband? What? That’s crazy!"

Sienna nodded, her expression remaining calm even though the memory still irritated her. "Yes. And believe me, Mia, you’re going to find this part even more interesting."

Mia sat up straighter, her curiosity returning at once. "So, what exactly did she ask?"

Sienna looked at her best friend and couldn’t help feeling that she had made the right decision by telling Mia. She told her everything, and somehow she felt slghtly better.

Yet, Sienna couldn’t shake the question that had been bothering her: How had Jessica found out about her marriage to Zachary?

She knew Zachary hadn’t announced their marriage publicly. Only their close family and friends knew, so Jessica had no obvious reason to know she was his wife.

The more Sienna thought about it, the more uncomfortable she became.

’Did Hannah tell Jessica about it?’

The thought immediately crossed her mind, but another question followed.

’Or did someone else tell her? Who?’

Something else bothered her even more. How had Jessica known she would be at Secret Garden today?

She had only planned to be there to take care of some work, and her schedule wasn’t public to her in-laws. As far as she knew, only Zachary and the people in their house knew where she would be.

’And... Who the hell told her I’m here!?’

Those were the questions that troubled her most. It was one thing for Jessica to somehow find out about her marriage. Still, it was another thing entirely for Jessica to know her whereabouts.

Someone had to have told her, and Sienna couldn’t figure out who.

The questions kept echoing in her mind, leaving her lost in her own thoughts until Mia’s voice finally pulled her back to reality.

"Sienna, what’s wrong?"

Sienna blinked and looked at Mia with a slight frown, as if asking through her expression what she meant.

"I said your name a few times, but you didn’t answer. I guess you seemed completely lost in your thoughts," Mia said, concern flashing in her eyes. "Are you okay?"

Sienna gave her best friend a small smile, trying to reassure her. "Hmm, I’m okay."

Mia didn’t look convinced. She continued watching Sienna carefully before asking, "Are you sure? I can tell something is bothering you. You looked slightly different after meeting Jessica Simmons."

Sienna lowered her gaze for a moment. She knew Mia was only asking out of concern, but she wasn’t ready to discuss her suspicions. She didn’t even have an answer for herself yet, and talking about it before she understood what had happened would only make her more confused.

"Mia, would you mind leaving me alone for a while?" Sienna said softly. "I have something I need to do right away."

Mia studied her face for a few seconds. She seemed to understand that Sienna didn’t want to discuss Jessica Simmons anymore, so she didn’t push the matter. Instead, she nodded and stood from the chair.

"Alright. I too still have some work to take care of outside the café," Mia said cheerfully, trying to lighten the mood. "But if you need anything, you must not forget to call me before anyone else! Deal?"

"Deal." Sienna smiled back at her and gave a small wave as Mia walked toward the door.

Mia glanced back before leaving the room, then glanced back once more. Still, she didn’t say anything else and only closed the door behind her, leaving Sienna alone in her office.

For a moment, Sienna simply remained seated. She looked at the closed door before slowly leaning back in her chair. Without Mia there to distract her, her mind immediately returned to the questions that had been troubling her.

How had Jessica found out about her marriage to Zachary? More importantly, how had that woman known that she would be at Secret Garden?

Sienna spent several minutes going over everything in her mind, trying to find an explanation that made sense. She considered the people who knew about her marriage, the people who knew about her schedule, and those who might have had contact with Jessica.

The more possibilities she considered, the fewer answers she found.

Eventually, one possibility seemed more likely than the others.

"Could It Be Hannah?!"
