Chapter 289: Are You Really Married to Zach?

Logan stopped, although his expression remained stern, ready, yet cautious. He clearly wasn’t happy with what lay before him or what Sienna had instructed. Still, he respected Sienna’s silent order and stayed where he was.

Once she was certain Logan wouldn’t use brute force against Jacky, Sienna turned her attention back to the man. She studied him for a moment before shifting her gaze to Jessica.

She let her eyes rest on the woman for several seconds, carefully observing her expression and trying to understand why she had come here.

Jessica kept smiling, but Sienna still sensed the tension and anxiety beneath it.

Something about the way Jessica sat there felt deliberate, as though she wanted Sienna to recognize her but was waiting to see how she would react.

After a few seconds passed, Sienna finally allowed a small smile to appear on her lips. She had no reason to pretend any longer. "Ah, I remember you now. I’d remember your face quicker if you hadn’t slightly covered your face," she said.

Jessica’s smile widened, and her eyes lit up with satisfaction. "I knew it. You really do remember me," she said proudly.

"I remember our counter at Mogul Megamall," Sienna said softly. An apologetic smile appeared on her lips as she continued, "I’m sorry our first encounter was unpleasant."

Before Jessica could respond, Sienna continued, completely ignoring Jacky’s fierce gaze. "By the way, we’ve met once, but I still don’t know your name. So, I don’t understand why you came here to meet me."

The warm smile that had been on Jessica’s lips disappeared instantly. Her face flushed red, clearly showing how angry Sienna’s words had made her.

For a moment, Jessica looked as if she wanted to say something harsh, but she quickly controlled herself. After only a second, her smile returned, although this time it didn’t reach her eyes.

"I didn’t know whether you really didn’t know me or whether you were just trying to anger me," Jessica said, her voice tight as she tried to keep her composure. "My name is Jessica Simmons. You were bold enough to slap me that time. If it hadn’t been for Hannah, I would have already sent you to jail."

Instead of being intimidated by Jessica’s threat, Sienna smiled. She could tell the woman was trying very hard to maintain her dignity, and for some reason, that only made the situation more amusing to her.

"Ah, now that I’ve heard your name, I remember a celebrity with the same name, and you look like her too. Oh..." Sienna suddenly covered her mouth with her hand, pretending to be shocked. Her eyes widened as she looked at Jessica. "You. You’re that celebrity!?"

Jessica’s expression immediately changed. Her eyes narrowed, and the smile on her lips became stiff. Sienna could clearly see that her words had annoyed her again.

But Jessica held herself back. She seemed unwilling to let Sienna bait her into another confrontation, especially with Jacky still standing nearby.

"I’m glad you recognize me," Jessica said calmly, forcing her expression to relax. "Yes. Yes, you’re right. I’m Jessica, the celebrity."

Her confidence returned slightly as she said it, as though reminding herself that she was someone important and that Sienna should treat her accordingly.

Sienna almost smiled at the obvious effort. She was satisfied to see Jessica looking increasingly exasperated and annoyed. Still, she had no intention of dragging the conversation out any longer than necessary. She had work to do, and she didn’t want to waste more of her time dealing with a woman who had appeared at her café without an appointment.

"So, again, what brings you here?" Sienna finally asked straightforwardly. Her voice stayed calm, but her tone clearly lacked interest.

Jessica didn’t answer immediately. She sat quietly in her chair, seemingly trying to organize her thoughts and decide how to approach the conversation. Her fingers tightened slightly around the sunglasses in her hand, and she glanced at Sienna before lowering her gaze for a moment.

After a few seconds, Jessica finally opened her mouth as if she was ready to speak. However, she stopped herself and turned toward Jacky instead.

"Please leave us for a moment," she said. "You can wait for me outside."

Jacky immediately looked at her in disbelief. He clearly hadn’t expected her to ask him to leave. "No. I’ll stay here."

"Please, Jacky. This is my order," Jessica said in a commanding tone.

Jacky’s jaw tightened. He looked at Jessica, then at Sienna, as if he was worried about leaving her alone with the woman he had already seen provoking her. He clearly wanted to object again, but after a few seconds, he finally gave in and nodded.

"Fine."

He turned and walked toward the door, though he gave Sienna one last suspicious look before stepping outside.

Logan was still nearby, watching him carefully and still, in all respects, ready to make a move. However, Sienna gave Logan a subtle look to let him know that everything was under control.

Once Jacky was gone, Jessica turned her attention back to Sienna.

"Sienna, you can sit," she said softly, gesturing toward one of the chairs.

Sienna didn’t argue. She walked over and sat down, crossing one leg over the other as she waited for Jessica to explain herself.

Jessica sat across from her and adjusted her posture before speaking, "I just wanted to confirm something with you."

"Go ahead," Sienna said casually.

Her voice was relaxed, but inside, she could already feel her patience thinning. She had a strong feeling about where this conversation was going, and she didn’t like it. Still, she kept her expression calm. There was no reason to give Jessica the satisfaction of seeing her lose control.

Jessica sat up straighter and cleared her throat. "Are you really married to Zach?"

For a moment, Sienna simply stared at her.

Internally, she almost laughed. So that was the reason Jessica had come all the way here.

Sienna had already guessed that Jessica’s visit had something to do with Zachary, but hearing the question directly still amused her. She leaned back slightly and looked at Jessica with a calm expression.

"Miss Jessica, you are still a stranger to me. So, I think we aren’t close enough to discuss my private matters."
