While Skylar was busy with his shopping bag, Logan turned toward Sienna. His expression became slightly guilty as he lowered his head.

"I’m sorry, Ma’am. I should have asked for your permission before going to the restroom. Because I wasn’t there, I wasn’t able to protect you when the Old Madam and her friend brought inconvenience to you."

Sienna shook her head gently.

"It’s alright, Logan. What’s done is done. And even if you were there, the last thing I want you to do is get involved. So, don’t blame yourself."

She wasn’t angry with him. The incident had already happened, and there was no point in making Logan feel guilty about something he couldn’t change.

"The important thing now is finding out whether anyone recorded what happened," she continued. "If someone did, make sure they don’t post it online."

Logan immediately nodded.

"Don’t worry, Ma’am. Our people already made sure no one kept any pictures or videos. We also had the IT team check the internet and social media. So far, nothing has been posted, and there doesn’t seem to be anything for you to worry about."

Sienna finally felt the tension in her chest ease.

"Thank goodness," she said, letting out a quiet breath. "That’s all I wanted to hear."

She smiled more naturally this time. The worry that had hung over her since leaving the store finally began to fade. At least she didn’t have to worry about a video of the confrontation suddenly appearing online and making the situation even bigger.

"Alright, let’s not talk about that anymore. We’re here to enjoy our lunch, so let’s just forget about what happened for now." She looked at Logan and smiled. "You should join us."

Logan’s expression immediately stiffened.

He quickly shook his head. "No, thank you, Ma’am. I’ve already ordered lunch with the others. We’re eating at the table outside."

Sienna was about to say something else, but Logan quickly gave her a polite nod.

"I’ll leave you and the Young Master to enjoy your meal."

Before she could insist again, he excused himself and walked out of the VIP room.

Sienna watched the door close behind him before turning back toward Skylar. Her son was sitting comfortably in his chair, busy with his new lens inside.

After what had happened earlier, Sienna allowed herself to relax, even though the situation with Hannah remained unresolved and she knew she would eventually have to face her mother-in-law again.

But for now, she didn’t want to think about any of it. She had promised Skylar they would enjoy their day together, and she intended to keep that promise.

Shortly afterward, the server returned with their lunch.

One by one, he carefully arranged the dishes across the table. There was a large salmon sashimi platter, crispy shrimp tempura rolls, spicy tuna rolls, salmon avocado rolls, grilled unagi sushi, and tamago nigiri. A bowl of warm miso soup was placed in front of each of them, followed by chilled green tea for Sienna and a glass of fresh orange juice for Skylar.

Once everything had been served, the waiter politely wished them an enjoyable meal before quietly leaving the VIP room.

As soon as the door closed behind him, the atmosphere inside the room gradually became lighter. The tension that had lingered since they arrived slowly faded, replaced by the familiar comfort they always shared whenever it was just the two of them.

Sienna picked up her chopsticks and smiled warmly at her son.

"Alright, let’s eat."

Skylar’s eyes immediately lit up with excitement. Without wasting another second, he picked up a sushi roll and happily took a bite. His eyes drifted shut for a brief moment as he slowly chewed the soft rice and fresh tuna.

A second later, his eyes flew open.

He looked at Sienna with genuine excitement.

"Mom, this is so delicious! You have to try it."

Sienna couldn’t help smiling at his enthusiasm. She had visited this restaurant many times before, so she already knew how good the food was. Even so, she obediently picked up the same sushi roll he had recommended.

She took a bite and nodded with satisfaction.

"Wow, you’re right. It’s delicious." She pretended to think for a moment before adding with a playful smile, "It looks like the chef is in a really good mood today. The sushi tastes just as good as the last time I came here."

Skylar nodded seriously as though he were evaluating the restaurant like a professional food critic.

"I think Chef Danny should learn from this chef."

"Oh?" Sienna raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"So he can make delicious sushi at home."

His serious expression made Sienna laugh softly.

"That’s not a bad idea."

Skylar nodded confidently before reaching for another piece of sushi.

After taking another bite, he looked even more satisfied.

Sienna watched him for a moment before a playful thought crossed her mind.

"Or..." she said casually, "should we just ask Daddy to hire this chef to work at our house?"

Skylar, who had just picked up another piece of sushi with his fork, suddenly went still, as if a light bulb above his head had just switched on.

He slowly turned to look at her.

"Yes," he said with great excitement and earnestness. "Let’s ask Daddy to hire him."

Sienna blinked before laughing.

"What about Uncle Danny?" She asked.

Skylar frowned as if he were solving a difficult problem. "It’s okay. We already have a chef."

"Exactly."

Then he added, "So this chef can help Uncle Danny."

"Help him?"

Skylar nodded earnestly.

"If Uncle Danny is tired, busy, or wants a holiday, this chef can cook instead. Teamwork is important, Mom."

Sienna laughed again, this time even harder.

"Oh, sweetheart, that’s very thoughtful of you."

"I know, Mom..."

His confident answer made her laugh once more.

She had wanted to distract him from everything that had happened earlier that afternoon, but somehow the opposite had happened. Without even trying, Skylar had managed to distract her instead. His innocent logic and unexpectedly mature answers always brightened her mood.

The rest of their lunch passed peacefully.

They chatted about Skylar’s photography class, the basketball practice he would have the following week, and the long shopping list he had prepared before leaving home.
