Upon hearing Lin Yun’s voice, the black monster stopped right in her tracks. Although she did not understand exactly what Lin Yun wanted to do, it would not hurt to wait for a moment to see what she intended to do. She would do everything in her power to protect this place.

Without delay, Lin Yun rushed back to her own shelter, picked up the toy bear from the bed, and handed the toy bear over to the black monster.

The black monster held the toy bear carefully in her hands, somewhat incredulous, as though she could hardly believe what she was seeing. This teddy bear was the very gift she had given to Vivian when Vivian was born. However, not long after the strange incident at the amusement park, the toy bear had gone missing. And ever since the teddy bear went missing, Vivian had become even more ruthless than before.

The black monster paused for a few short seconds, still holding the toy bear. Then she nodded to Lin Yun once more, to show that she had understood. She was going to stop Vivian.

Lin Yun breathed a long sigh of relief at this, watched the black monster leave, and then went back into the room in order to look for the corresponding lock.

The black monster was not fast, so by the time she reached the floor where Song Xizheng and the others were, the battle between them and Vivian had already reached a fever pitch. When the butler and the other black monsters saw their mother coming down, they automatically stepped aside and made way for her.

The black monster took a few steps forward and then came to a stop. She sighed heavily and slowly raised her hand to tap on the railing beside her.

Taking advantage of a brief moment in the chaos, Song Xizheng turned his head to take a quick look at her. Although the black monsters all looked quite similar to one another, there were still some subtle differences between them. This black monster, if nothing unexpected had happened, ought to be Vivian’s mother, and he judged that this was very likely the case.

Song Xizheng did not quite understand what Vivian’s mother meant by the gesture, but he guessed that she probably wanted them to stop fighting. But it was not something that they could simply stop whenever they wanted to! At this moment, Vivian was like a madwoman, and if they were to stop now, she would surely kill them.

"Wei..."

Vivian’s mother was extremely anxious as she stood there. She did not want to watch Vivian make the same mistake again, but she simply could not make a sound. After struggling for a very long time, she could barely manage to utter a single syllable.

Vivian also happened to notice her mother standing directly opposite her. With her preconceived notion, she instantly concluded that her mother, too, had given up on her.

"You all deserve to die!" Vivian screamed.

The power of the small scepter in her hand grew stronger and stronger with each passing moment. She truly wanted these humans to die here. In her mind, her mother and the butler should die here as well. She had tried so hard to change everyone back, and yet they all stood against her. How could she possibly not be angry?

"Vivian!"

Vivian’s mother finally managed to speak again. Vivian froze on the spot at once when she heard her mother’s voice once more, and she turned to look straight at her mother.

"Hey!" Song Zhenzhen had not expected Vivian to stop so suddenly and without warning. The knife in her hand was already slashing toward Vivian. After realizing what was happening, she quickly turned the blade in another direction.

Xiong Qi was startled by what had happened, and he hurried over to check on Song Zhenzhen’s condition.

Seeing that Vivian had finally calmed down a little, her mother picked up the toy bear that had been lost and found, so that Vivian could see with her own eyes what the bear looked like.

"Little bear... is here!"

She wanted to say, "Little Bear is back. Can you come back too?" But she had not spoken for such a long time, and since she had broken through the barrier by force, her voice came out hoarse and unpleasant.

Vivian’s small scepter slipped from her hand and fell to the ground with a clatter.

With lightning speed, Song Xizheng stepped forward and kicked the small scepter down the stairs.

"Phew."

I’m so clever! Now she can’t attack me!

Vivian stared intently at the toy bear without looking away, as if she could hardly believe it.

"Where... did you find it?" she asked.

Arya walked over to Vivian and gently handed her the teddy bear. "Here... is for you," she said.

"No, please do not continue... okay?"

She was pleading with Vivian to stop what she was doing. She did not want Vivian to become a person like that. In her heart, her child should have grown up surrounded by love.

Unbeknownst to everyone who was present, the small scepter lying at the bottom of the stairs began to emit an eerie red light. Immediately afterward, it floated up into the air on its own.

Vivian reached out to take the toy bear, wanting to take a good, long look at the bear that she had lost for several years. Before her hand had even touched the teddy bear, her pupils flickered, suddenly flashing with an eerie red light, just like the small scepter.

Vivian grasped the toy bear’s hand. Just at that moment, the small scepter that Song Xizheng had kicked down the stairs flew up from below and rushed straight toward Vivian. Vivian raised her hand, grasped the small scepter firmly, and forcefully pulled the toy bear away, throwing it outside. A red light also emanated from the small scepter, completely tearing the toy bear into shreds. The teddy bear shattered into many pieces and fell down into the open-air garden below.

All of this happened so fast that no one had any time to react.

Arya stared blankly at Vivian in shock, not understanding why she would tear the teddy bear to pieces.

Song Xizheng and the other three men reacted very quickly. They picked up their weapons, pushed Arya back, and shielded her by standing in front of her.

When Vivian lifted her head again, her pupils had turned an eerie red, and her eyes were no longer lively, as they had been before.

"They’re all dead..."

Suddenly, without any warning, a powerful energy erupted from within her body. She wanted to drag everyone who was here down to hell with her.

At that very moment, a giant cat fell from the sky. It climbed down the outer wall and appeared behind Vivian, striking without hesitation with its claw. Vivian was completely caught off guard when a cat suddenly appeared behind her, and the blow caused her to stumble.

"I’m speechless. I should have just put her scepter in my bag!"

When Song Xizheng saw the cat, he immediately knew that it was Sang Biao, and he figured that Lin Yun had sent it to help them again.

"You’re kidding me. Who knows what other tricks that scepter has up its sleeve? It might just blow your backpack to smithereens!"

Xiong Qi cursed aloud and immediately charged forward, grabbing his weapon and launching a fierce attack on Vivian while she was still falling.

"Ha!"

Sang Biao was a truly fierce fighter, and his cat-like punches were incredibly fast and very hard to avoid. Vivian had never fought such a creature before in her whole life, and for a moment she found herself at a clear disadvantage.

"Roar!"

Tuantuan also rushed downward, but this one came down by way of the stairs. It was not as agile as Sang Biao, so it obediently took the stairs instead, and thus fell a step behind Sang Biao. Tuan Tuan bypassed several people on the way and rushed forward to cooperate with Sang Biao in attacking Vivian.

Song Xizheng and his three companions: "?"

Is that right? Where did the tiger come from, exactly? Why do they seem to know each other so well?

The group exchanged glances with one another, but they still secretly fired shots at Vivian from the side. There was really no other way. With those two huge behemoths around, they could not very well go up and cause them trouble. With just a single swipe of their claws, they would be covered in bruises from head to toe.

My life is more important. My life is more important.

Vivian was absolutely furious at this. She could not understand why such a huge creature had been hidden in the amusement park all this time. Where on earth had it come from? She dodged the attacks of the two giant beasts in a sorry state, and she did not even have time to use the small scepter in her hand.

Sang Biao had already figured out all of Vivian’s tactics. At the speed of their cat-like punches, they would let you swing your scepter once and consider it a loss for them!
