Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 2216: There is someone else.

Chapter 2216: There is someone else.

“Indeed, while protecting our High Level Worlds to prevent him from getting stronger may be a good defensive strategy, we still need something more offensive.”

The Entity of Balance spoke up as well, backing up the Entity of Darkness. It was a rare sight, but the Infinities could see how important it was, and these weren’t beings who would let a previous argument get in the way of their discussions. They were too old to do something so childish.

Of course, none of the Infinities asked how or why only the High Level Worlds were the target of protection. The patterns were clear; every one of them could see that the stronger the world he devours, the quicker he grows, so instead of protecting trillions of worlds spread throughout the Universe, they only needed to focus on a few thousand High Level Worlds, and that would be more than enough to stop the Anomaly from growing more than he already had.

The main problem, however, was the offensive part.

Defense was still possible but…

When only the enemy had a way to come to them while they themselves were completely clueless about his whereabouts or how to get to him—there was only so much they could do.

The Infinities had no choice but to wait for the Anomaly to appear and then do something.

But…

All four of them could see how inefficient this was, especially when they didn’t even have a way to know where and when the Anomaly would appear for sure.

It was… it was similar to a mortal shooting into a dark space and hoping to hit the target. While it was still possible, the likelihood of it happening was… concerningly low.

The Infinities needed to increase this likelihood, and for that—

“We need to erase his Immortal Army.”

Seraphielle spoke up, attracting the other three’s attention.

“The Anomaly is quite cautious. Instead of moving himself, he moves through those vile puppets he has brainwashed and taken into his Universe. He did the same thing when he had a conversation with me.

We need to destroy their very existence, and only then can we force the Anomaly to move himself or send someone who originally belongs to his Universe.

That way, we might be able to learn more about their Universe and think of a more complete plan—a plan that includes not just offense but defense too.”

“So what you are saying is…

We need to focus on defense until his temporary forces, the ones he can use, no longer exist, forcing him or his true forces to move instead? Is that it? Is that all you want us to do?”

Ul’Thakar raised his eyebrows at those words, clearly not satisfied, but Seraphielle did not care.

“If you have another way, then go on, enlighten us all.”

She answered sarcastically, giving back the mocking and sarcastic gaze that Ul’Thakar had first used when he came here.

Ul’Thakar didn’t say anything. This time, he was the one who ignored the woman, since he too couldn’t think of any other way when they knew next to nothing about the enemy.

But then—

“We need help.”

The Entity of Eternity spoke words that surprised all the Infinities present here.

Help…?

They needed… help?

It was strange to even think about it.

They were the Infinities, beings who had ruled the very Universe since… since it was created.

They were the Absolutes, people who had the power to decide the very fate of the Universe in just one discussion. Even the Universe’s Will itself needed to be wary of them; every other being in the Universe feared them—

Who… who could possibly help… them?

But then, a name came to their mind—

“Are you talking about… her?”

Seraphielle asked, thinking about that strange, eerie woman.

One of the few… entities in the Universe that even she, an Infinity, couldn’t quite understand—who she was, what she desired, what her goals were… none of it was clear.

Even when they investigated her…

They found… nothing.

Just like them—she had been around since… forever. A being that they felt was the Sixth Infinity, the one who never bothered to show herself unless she desired.

The woman who claimed to know all—

The Seer.

And yes, when they thought about her, the Four Infinities did feel the ’fog’ that had caused all the confusion and raised all the questions fading away—

Yes, if it was her…

If she decided to help them… then there was a slight chance they might get the answers they were looking for—at the very least, they might get some form of lead, something to hold onto and follow. But—

“My children have been trying to reach her. There are no answers. It is as if she has… disappeared.”

The Entity of Balance spoke in a solemn tone.

Yes, all Infinities knew that.

The Seer moved according to her will. They knew that as long as she didn’t wish to show herself, no matter what they did, she would not move.

The fact that they had no clue about her whereabouts didn’t help either.

“Disappeared my ass. She last appeared in one of the Middle Level Worlds of my Faction. She talked with the leader and then disappeared. I sent my subordinates to ask about her whereabouts, but just like usual, no answer.”

The Entity of Darkness snorted.

Just thinking about how arrogant that woman was made him want to rip her into pieces, but again, he too was helpless.

“To think the woman who appears every time we are in the slightest bit of a bother has not made an appearance in centuries, even after multiple things happened.

This is all… a little too suspicious.”

Seraphielle narrowed her eyes. Her mind was coming up with possibilities she did not wish to believe in.

But…

This matter was never about her wanting to believe it or not—it was something far above that.

“She and the Anomaly have quite a lot in common.”

And just then, the Entity of Balance spoke up as well, saying exactly what Seraphielle was currently thinking.

The other Infinities, who were thinking the same, turned toward him and Equarios began to voice his thoughts.

“We know next to nothing about both of them—their goals, their desires, what they are. None of it is clear. They appeared out of nowhere. The similarities just… go on.

The only few differences are that the Seer has been around since… the beginning of our Universe, even during Zylarith’s time and before that. And the Anomaly… he appeared only a few centuries ago.

Other than that…”

“Don’t think too much.”

Before Equarios could finish his thoughts, Orravyn spoke up.

“There is one major difference between the Seer and the Anomaly.

Our Universe doesn’t react strongly to the Seer’s movements—it does to the Anomaly.

That would mean the Universe doesn’t feel threatened by her; she… is not our enemy, at least for now.”

“But what if… she purposefully made it so the Universe doesn’t react to her by acting within her boundaries?

What if it is all her plan to have us lower our guard?”

The Entity of Balance countered but—

“And she has been doing this ever since the beginning of our Universe for what exactly?”

The Entity of Eternity interrupted.

“Waiting for the opportunity? If she wanted to do something, she would have done so during Zylarith’s time, when we were at our weakest.”

“What if she wasn’t strong enough back then?”

Ul’Thakar raised another point.

“This is the same woman whom none of you, not even my mother, could find the whereabouts of. She has been eluding you since the beginning of the Universe. You have never once succeeded in tracking her, and you are here saying maybe she wasn’t strong enough back then?

Do you see how truly absurd it sounds?”

Orravyn countered, and once again, the room turned silent.

As unwilling as the Infinities were, they had to admit—the Seer… wasn’t an entity they understood at all.

Even the Anomaly himself was far less complex compared to her. Comparing the two would be… quite a big leap, especially when they probably knew more about the Anomaly within just a few centuries than they ever did about the Seer, despite knowing of her existence for thousands of years.

“But yes, your concerns are valid.”

Eternity nodded, not disregarding their words.

“The Seer’s complete absence ever since the Anomaly showed up is concerning. She is a being we do not understand. It… might not be surprising if she is the one helping the Anomaly behind the scenes.

That would explain how the Anomaly has managed to trick us till now.”

He spoke, looking specifically at Seraphielle. The Entity of Light didn’t say anything in return. She did not wish to discuss her ’loss’ again.

But if the Seer was indeed with the Anomaly, then this was… quite concerning—far more than what they initially believed.

Then suddenly—

“But the Seer wasn’t the only help I was talking about.”

Orravyn spoke up, once again attracting the attention of the entire room.

“There is someone else.

Someone… maybe even stranger than the Seer.

Someone who… definitely has a connection with the Anomaly.”
