Sugar Daddy System: Infinite Money, Endless Harem
Chapter 12: Anna: I Will Not Betray You!
After she finished, the manager began processing it and asked with a smile, "Sir, which tier would you like, and how much would you like to top up?"
Anna was curious too, looking adorably dazed.
Ryan pulled out the black card that had come with the phone box earlier. The manager’s eyes lit up, and Anna noticed that expression.
"1 million, I guess!!!"
Ryan had wanted to say "Give me a hundred million," but thought better of it, that would be too shocking and might get him labeled a lunatic.
After hesitating, he only dared to timidly say 1 million.
This time, not only the manager was stunned, but Anna was too. Even the front desk staff all looked over.
A few gazes were not exactly friendly, after all, this guy was in street stall clothes, messy flip-flops, no name brands anywhere.
They had seen low-key wealthy people before, people who did not care much about dressing up.
But at least they would carry a designer bag or suitcase, wear an expensive watch, or sport a pendant or bracelet.
Compared to that, this guy was too clean, too plain and too young.
"What, too little?"
Seeing them all frozen, Ryan naturally furrowed his brow.
"Respected sir, no, no, are you sure you want to top up 1 million?"
The manager’s breathing quickened, because even that 120,000 member had topped up in two installments.
"Enough with the chatter, I’m hungry!!"
Ryan said impatiently. Little did he know, in Anna’s eyes, that very impatience was oozing with masculinity.
Trembling, the manager took the POS machine, processed it, and with a light swipe, payment successful.
"Sir, please wait a moment."
She was incredibly excited, bustling about. Even the front desk girls’ gazes toward Ryan had softened.
Anna instantly felt a sense of crisis and instinctively looped her arm through Ryan’s.
A wave of fragrance washed over him. Even through their clothes, the softness and warmth of a girl’s body made Ryan’s bones feel weak.
Anna’s eyes were already sparkling. Breathing rapidly, she could not even imagine, what kind of tycoon was this?
It definitely was not the lottery. This was a genuine wealthy heir, she had struck gold.
With that thought, she subtly leaned in closer, pressing her full chest directly against Ryan’s arm.
Even through her bra, the softness, the shape, and the faint sweet scent left Ryan, a complete novice, feeling dazed.
"Sir, sorry to keep you waiting. This is your highest-tier Diamond Card."
After the card was processed, the manager handed it over respectfully with both hands and said warmly, "This card can be linked to WhatsApp for use. Even if you lose it, it won’t affect your access."
Ryan took it and casually handed it to Anna. She held the card and cooed, "Why are you giving this to me?"
Ryan said generously, "That old phone I gave you earlier was a bit rude. This counts as the real greeting gift."
"But this is your money, and you topped up so much."
Anna said, playing hard to get.
"It’s not really appropriate to accept such a gift on the first meeting."
Feeling her soft scent, Ryan could not help but wrap his arm around her waist, gently caressing through the fabric, and said, "If I give it to you, just take it. Don’t be so fussy."
Only then did Anna accept the card and said sweetly, "I’m just keeping it safe for you. If you need it, just tell me."
She acted so understanding that she had the novice Ryan completely wrapped around her finger. He immediately said, "Feel free to use it whenever you need it."
"Then..."
Anna pouted adorably, "If I really use it, you’re not allowed to feel bad about it."
Ryan shook his head: "Unless you come here with another man!!!"
"I won’t!"
Anna quickly assured him, "Ryan, from now on I’ll only come here with you."
Thinking back on all those years simping for Tina, Ryan smiled bitterly, "Don’t promise so quickly. You have so many pursuers, plenty of excellent ones too. Nothing is certain."
Ryan was just lamenting his own misfortune, but Anna heard it differently.
You are practically a goddess, with a swarm of simps and backups, even you probably do not believe those words.
Hearing that, Anna said solemnly, "Ryan, I fully understand your feelings. I would never do such a thing."
"You pursued Tina for three years without ever revealing yourself, but the day before yesterday when you approached me, I felt at that moment that I wasn’t making a mistake."
"But now, I truly understand your feelings."
"You didn’t want to reveal your identity in front of Tina, but with me, you were so direct."
Anna blushed and said, "I’m not one of those fake innocent green tea bitches. I notice all these little details."
"Honestly, I think it’s totally unnecessary for you to be mocked by everyone on campus. If you’d shown your true strength from the start, that Tina wouldn’t have rejected you."
After saying that, Anna carefully watched for his reaction.
Ryan, however, was calm and composed: "It doesn’t matter anymore. What happened today is over and done with."
He then looked at the iPhone 17 in her arms and said with a sad expression, "This should be the answer."
"This was the only one, I earned it from all kinds of odd jobs, delivering food and working part-time. Probably the only one of its kind."
Hearing that, Anna, who had previously dismissed it as someone else’s reject, now felt completely different.
This was a wealthy heir who, while living a down-to-earth life, had earned it through his own efforts, penny by penny.
Given that he had dropped 200,000 on gifts without blinking and another 1 million on a membership card without flinching, that hint of melancholy showed how much this gift meant to him.
"I’m sorry, Anna. This gift really isn’t sincere."
Ryan added.
Anna felt her heart melt. An iPhone 17 was already sincere enough, let alone a 1-million-dollar membership card.
Her first thought was, this guy was too naive. Coming from a poor background, he should have been shrewder. Being this naive could only mean his family background was truly terrifying.
"But I really like it!"
"This card is still yours. Whenever you come, we should come together."
"Why do you have to be so insecure?"
As a top-tier green tea bitch with countless simps and backups, Anna knew exactly how to adapt to the situation.
The manager stepped forward and said warmly, "If you don’t mind, I’ll escort you both upstairs."
A dedicated elevator led to the rooftop garden restaurant. Without a membership card swipe, you really could not get up there.
This restaurant, located on the hotel’s top floor, had a starry ceiling at night with the sunshade layer retracted. Gazing at the countless stars above was incredibly romantic.
Upon entering, you could hear elegant, soothing piano music. The roof had been designed as a garden with little bridges and flowing water, classic and full of artistic atmosphere.
The decor featured traditional western elements. The space was large, but the seating was limited.
The main hall had about twenty tables, plus elevated VIP booths by the windows overlooking the city’s night view, all separated by screens, so with the soft music, it was not noisy at all.
"Do you have a reservation, or would you like a set menu?"
Ryan asked naively, "What’s the difference!!!"
The manager, afraid that the front desk staff might offend such an important guest, quickly explained, "Dear sir, we offer some discounted set menus. If you choose a set, you’ll be seated in the main hall at these tables."
"The VIP booths by the windows where you can enjoy the night view are for à la carte ordering."
Ryan nodded, but Anna, with her sharp eyes, pointed to a table nearby and asked, "What set menu are they having?"
At a more secluded spot in the hall, Kai and Tina sat across from each other, already sipping plum wine as an appetizer.
The front desk staff had been strictly trained and technically should not answer such questions, professional ethics and all.
But in the face of money, who cares about ethics? The manager snatched the menu and said, "Ms. Anna, they ordered the 777-dollar Japanese Seafood Teppanyaki Set Menu."
"Let me see!"
Anna grabbed the promotional menu and could not help but let out a giggle.
Just then, Kai noticed them. Seeing his girlfriend Anna standing with that simp Ryan, his face darkened and he put down his drink.
Tina also noticed his gaze. She turned around and her expression turned equally sour.
Tina put down her glass and walked straight over, her face cold as she said, "Why are you still pestering me? Even a stubborn sticker isn’t as annoying as you."
Ryan didn’t even flinch. He gave a calm, indifferent smile and said flatly, "Classmate Tina, I think you’ve got it wrong. I’m not here for you. I’m here with someone else."
He gestured toward Anna, who immediately looped her arm through his, leaning in close.
"You can enjoy your dinner without worrying about me bothering you ever again."
Tina’s face went pale, caught completely off guard by his cold dismissal. She opened her mouth to say something, but Ryan had already turned away, guiding Anna toward the VIP booth area with the manager.
"Let’s get the best table you have," Ryan said to the manager, not even glancing back at Tina.
