Sugar Daddy System: Infinite Money, Endless Harem
Chapter 13: Anna: Ryan Is My Boyfriend
Facing her, Ryan felt a bit sad and could not meet her eyes.
Kai also walked over, his expression even darker: "Anna, what are you doing with this simp???"
"None of your business. You can go out with someone else, but I can’t?"
Anna sneered.
Kai glanced dismissively at Ryan and scoffed, "Even if you want to make me jealous, at least pick someone decent. You had to pick the most pathetic simp on campus?"
"I thought you had taste. Dragging out this trash to prop yourself up, who are you trying to kid?"
Tina joined in with a mocking laugh, "Oh, is this your new side gig? At least wear something decent."
"Kai, since that’s the case, let’s break up."
Anna gave a proud snort.
Kai chuckled, laughing in disbelief: "Anna, if you want to break up, just say so. I don’t need to be your simp. You really think you’re made of gold? Acting all coy when I barely touched you."
With that, he wrapped his arm around Tina’s waist and smirked, "Learn from her, now that’s femininity."
Anna gave a sultry smile, wrapped her arm around Ryan’s, and practically sandwiched his arm between her full, soft breasts.
Even through her bra, the wonderful softness was unmistakable. Ryan’s bones went weak.
"Is that so? I have femininity too, you’re just not worthy of it."
Anna smiled confidently and said, "Let me formally introduce you, my boyfriend, Ryan."
Hearing that, the two across from them burst out laughing, clearly not believing a word.
Tina said contemptuously, "Anna, I suggest if you’re going to hire an actor, at least get someone decent."
Kai mocked, "Anna, spare me. If you actually went public saying he’s your boyfriend, you would instantly become the biggest joke on campus."
"Hehe, I will go public. Just wait and see!"
Anna flipped her hair confidently and said, "We’re in a real relationship, unlike you two, a green tea bitch and a player. Actually, you’re quite well matched."
That hit a nerve. Kai’s face fell and he yelled at the manager, "How does the garden restaurant do business?"
"Is this place for any stray cat or dog? Look at this hick, dressed sloppily, wearing flip-flops."
"This affects other diners and drags down the class of this place. It ruins our dining experience."
"Get security to throw him out right now..."
Tina smiled smugly, as if envisioning Ryan being kicked out. Apparently, Kai’s dad even had a stake in this hotel.
"I’m sorry, Mr. Kai, but we have no dress code here."
"As long as the attire is decent, with no strange costumes or indecent exposure, we respect every guest’s comfort."
The manager maintained her professional smile, but her words were firm: "Moreover, Mr. Ryan has just become our top-tier Diamond Member and is a valued guest."
"What I see is you approaching to harass him. Please maintain basic decency and don’t disturb other diners."
"You..."
Kai did not expect to be shut down like this and said angrily, "You don’t want your job anymore, do you!!"
"I’m sorry, but my dismissal is up to the board, no need for you to worry about it!!!"
The female manager looked at him coldly and said, "Mr. Kai, this is a dining environment. Please don’t make loud noises."
The politest words hit the hardest. Ryan almost wanted to applaud her.
"Forget it, ignore them. Let’s see how long they can keep this up."
Tina quickly pulled Kai’s hand.
"Hmph, we’ll see!"
Kai went back, his face ashen.
Only then did the manager say softly, "Dear Mr. Ryan, Ms. Anna, we have the best view seat available now. Please follow me."
Under her guidance, they were seated at a prominent and beautiful VIP booth with a panoramic view of the city’s night skyline. It was stunning.
Anna could not help but let out a "wow" and immediately whipped out her phone to take pictures.
"Such a country bumpkin..."
Tina muttered sourly from across the room. She knew the difference between the VIP booths and the main hall, and it irked her.
Kai quickly explained, "Tina, while the VIP booths don’t have a minimum spend, people who sit there generally order accordingly."
"Given how broke that simp Ryan is, even selling him would not cover one meal there. And the menu there has nothing cheap."
"In a bit, when they’re stuck ordering just one dish between the two of them, they’ll be the ones embarrassed. We just sit back and watch the show."
Tina’s expression softened and she smiled, "True. Pretending to be rich, let’s see how they get out of this."
"Stick to beef noodles or braised pork rice with an extra chicken, what’s wrong with that? Why come to the garden restaurant?"
"But aren’t you okay with your girlfriend eating with someone else?"
Kai puffed up and said solemnly, "Tina, I swear I have no feelings for her anymore. We were barely together, and it was all innocent, we never even held hands."
"She already said break up, so I’ll cut it off cleanly. From now on, we’re strangers."
"Tina, don’t you understand my feelings? My heart is only for you."
Between Kai and Anna, the reality was that Kai, barely 170 cm, was slick and flashy, but they looked mismatched.
Calling them a handsome couple was a stretch. He had pursued Anna for a long time before she agreed to "give it a try."
This player was the type to want to take advantage immediately, but Anna was a pro at stringing along simps and backups, no way she would let him get anything.
After half a semester of dating, Kai had been caught flirting with several other girls, so naturally their relationship was lukewarm.
It was a cold war, neither really cared, both knew it, but no one said it out loud.
Tina was a bit dismissive of his claims, but still said sweetly, "Why are you telling me all this? It’s not like I’m your girlfriend."
Kai said with deep affection, "Tina, trust me. Give me a chance to pursue you. I’ll love you well."
"We’ll see how you perform."
"Ryan, what are you thinking about?"
Seeing Ryan looking dazed, Anna asked gently.
"Nothing, I was thinking I should give her a tip."
Ryan pointed at the female manager.
She was a still-attractive woman in her thirties, in a business suit that highlighted her figure, not quite a stunner, but definitely a beauty.
Anna immediately grew alert and said coquettishly, "Ryan, you’re not taking a liking to her, are you?"
Ryan chuckled sheepishly, "I’m not that lecherous. I just want to thank her properly. I’m terrible with words and can’t argue to save my life."
"Leave that to me, Ryan. Let’s look at the menu first!!!"
Anna took over that task, afraid that the female manager might intentionally try to seduce the man she had her eyes on. After all, a guest who spent one million was as rare as a national treasure here.
She proactively sat next to Ryan, pressing her thigh against his, and opened the menu.
Over on the other side, the appetizers for the set menu had arrived. The sushi platter was not anything special.
But the plates were unique, the presentation exquisite, though there was barely anything to eat. Classic rich-people food, not for the common folk.
Kai looked at Tina with adoration as she took photos. After she finished, she looked up and saw the two sitting together. She said scornfully, "What a slut, practically glued to him."
"Kai, she’s going this far just to get a rise out of you. Can you honestly say you’re over her?"
Kai glanced over, feeling annoyed, and said coldly, "Tina, what’s there to be upset about? She’s already stooped to being with that simp Ryan. She’s the one embarrassing herself."
Tina gave a flirtatious smile and said, "That’s true. But I bet Anna is paying for this meal."
"Why do you say that??"
Kai looked confused.
Tina felt proud inside but kept her composure: "You know Ryan is a broke loser. He’s been sticking to me like a stubborn sticker, so annoying."
"For my birthday this year, I heard he was working part-time delivering food and maxing out his credit card just to buy that iPhone 17 as a gift."
"He tried that hard, Tina must be so touched."
Kai teased.
"Don’t be silly. I just find him annoying."
Tina giggled, "So his pockets are cleaner than his face. How could he afford to treat Anna to a meal? Even his credit card limit is probably peanuts."
"So it’s Anna paying out of her own pocket to make you jealous, letting him be a kept man."
"You should be the touched one, Kai..."
When a top-tier green tea bitch and a player spar, it is all soft words and gentle tones, but every line is a hidden blade.
