Chapter 1132: Part 1: Wilderness (City A)

City A (4th Zone)

Jeremy Night heard everything from them, digesting the information in his heart. He wasn’t the only one paying attention to the matter.

Stella, inside the mental zone, was paying attention as well.

She was memorizing all the important information, especially the details regarding the borders and other dangerous spots in the wilderness.

The conversation went on for 20 minutes. Jeremy Night then checked the time. He felt that it was time to leave.

He raised his head and asked for permission to leave. The conversation stopped there.

The senior admin staff decided to ask the manager. The manager was the overall head of the place, and they couldn’t make a decision without his approval.

The senior admin staff then made a phone call to the manager. The old man heard the news that the genius beast tamer from the special base had arrived.

Knowing that Jeremy Night was here, the manager left his office and decided to meet him personally.

He hadn’t expected the young man to come here to help. He knew the young man had backing; he possessed the golden card given by old man Dave.

A few minutes later,

He arrived in the lobby and walked up to the admin desk, coming face to face with the young man, Jeremy Night.

"Young man Jeremy, it’s nice to see you here," the manager said.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night greeted the old man.

"I want to go to the wilderness right now," Jeremy requested.

The admin staff turned toward the old manager. The old man understood the seriousness of the situation.

He shifted his attention toward the young man. He had gone through his profile just the last time he was here.

He knew the young man was quite special. He could fight across tiers. Despite being a Tier-4 beast tamer, he could slay Tier-5 beast tamers.

The old man then said, "I know a lot about you. But this is still City A. You have to follow certain rules before going into the wilderness."

"I will follow the rules," Jeremy replied. He didn’t want to waste any more time, so he agreed right away.

The old man smiled and nodded to the admin staff.

"Go with him. He will take you to the inventory. You can enter the wilderness after that, but you are only given permission to roam in the inner area," the old man said in a serious tone.

"If you find yourself in the core area, you will find it hard to escape alive," he added.

His words held a heavy seriousness.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night realized the severity of the matter. He thanked the manager and followed the admin staff.

The senior admin staff entered the inventory room, and Jeremy stepped inside as well.

The staff member opened the storage shelf. There were many combat and armor suits inside, all made using advanced tech from a famous company.

The senior admin staff’s gaze fell on the armor suits. He observed them for a moment before picking one out.

The armor suit was black, but it was unlike the others. It looked pristine, complete with a helmet. The grade of the armor was Tier-8.

It could withstand attacks from higher-tier beasts. This new model was made using technology designed to provide comfort to beast tamers.

That was why there were only a few pieces left.

The staff took the pristine black armor suit from the shelf and placed it, along with the helmet, on the table.

"It’s one of the newly made battle armor pieces. Most of them have been taken by the Beast Taming Association members. There are only a few pieces left here. I didn’t expect the manager to give one to you," the senior admin staff said.

Jeremy Night observed the armor suit. He already had an armor suit given by Elder John, but he still decided to wear this one.

He could tell it was made using the latest technology. The inner part of the armor had many features, designed to provide both safety and comfort to the beast tamer.

He accepted the armor suit from the staff and went to get ready. In one of the changing rooms, he put on the full-body armor and helmet.

A few minutes later,

When he returned to the lobby, the senior admin staff gave him a map of the local wilderness.

The other staff members were seeing Jeremy Night in a full-body armor suit for the first time.

They were quite jealous, as it wasn’t easy to get that armor, but they knew the young man’s background.

They could tell that the manager didn’t want anything bad to befall the young man, especially since he had come to help them out. So, they eased their expressions.

Jeremy Night bid goodbye to the staff before leaving the place. He went outside and boarded a cab immediately.

The cab driver understood the passenger was heading to the wilderness without even having to ask.

Jeremy told the cab driver to drop him at the gate, and the cab departed.

20 minutes later,

They reached the city gate. It was already past noon. Jeremy Night stepped out of the cab and wanted to pay the driver.

However, the cab driver refused the payment. Jeremy thanked him before heading to the gate. It was wide open, and there were no security checks.

Beast tamers from all sides were welcome to enter. Thus, when he went inside, he wasn’t stopped anywhere.

Jeremy Night set his gaze ahead. He was still a little new to the area, having only been here once after his immediate breakthrough to the Tier-4 stage.

Now that he was here again, he decided to explore the area little by little. There was no need to go directly to the hot spots, where the higher-tier beasts resided.

As he walked along, it took him some time to get comfortable in the armor suit.

[Let me out!]

Jeremy Night heard her voice. He had almost forgotten about her, so he quickly summoned her outside.

A beautiful six-winged butterfly appeared.

[I will help you look for the higher-tier beasts. Then we can start hunting them down,] she said.

Hearing that, Jeremy agreed.
