STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer
Chapter 1130: Part 1: Heading to City A
Special Base (4th Zone)
The call lasted for twenty minutes. After getting all the valuable input from him, he thanked Elder John. Elder John said that he would book tickets for the night departure before ending the call.
Jeremy leaned back against the sofa and started to reflect on the information. He had underestimated the intense situation in the City A wilderness.
He had to prepare well before departure. Not wanting to waste time, he began his daily routine. After some time, Stella woke up from her sleep as well.
He explained the situation to her, and Stella grew excited. She had always wanted to fight against higher-tier beasts. The mission in the City A wilderness was going to be a huge deal for her.
Jeremy also used this chance to ask about her breakthrough. She had made a giant leap from the 1st rank to the 2nd rank of the Tier-4 Stage.
He had also experienced a similar breakthrough because of the natural energy fruits and her feedback energy.
[I consumed a golden-colored natural fruit. It was more special than the other natural fruits,] Stella said to him.
She then continued to talk about her experience and how she had ended up there. She had chased after an injured Tier-7 Red Snake that had escaped into the wilderness.
Later, she found a special tree and consumed its only golden-colored natural fruit.
Jeremy was shocked internally, but when he heard the latter part of her experience, he was truly dumbfounded. She had toyed with a Tier-8 hybrid bird beast.
Her natural speed ability had helped her a lot. Jeremy Night calmed his heart. He knew that it was a higher-tier bird beast, but he hadn’t thought it was a Tier-8 beast.
After hearing her account, he was truly impressed. It was not easy to win against a bird beast. He realized that if she had not driven it away, he would have encountered the bird beast along with the panther.
He then collected his thoughts and resumed his routine.

City A (4th Zone)
City Governor Evelina was in her office. She was pondering over a call she had with a senior from the Human Alliance a few minutes earlier.
The Alliance wouldn’t send help to her without evidence of a Tier-9 Corrupted beast’s presence behind the attack.
Furthermore, the Alliance knew that she was a Tier-9 Beast Tamer herself. They wanted her to handle the problem. Evelina was frustrated. It wasn’t that she couldn’t handle a Tier-9 beast.
She was afraid that a human hand could be behind the incident, but she could not casually dismiss the remarks without evidence.
She touched her forehead, accepting the fact that she wouldn’t get any help from the Human Alliance for the time being.
She collected her thoughts and shifted her attention to the files placed on her desk. It was a list sent by the governor’s offices in other cities. They had sent some Beast Taming Teams to help out.
She raised her eyebrows. She wanted to know which city had sent the most help, as she had helped them the most during their times of crisis. It was their turn to help City A.
After all, if City A was affected, the fate of the other cities wouldn’t be any different.
As she went through the list, she figured out that the Governors of City B and City C were honest. They had sent more than ten teams comprised of higher-tier beast tamers to the city.
The rest of the cities were weak compared to the top three, so she was not expecting much from them. Yet, those cities had surprised her as well.
They had sent a greater number of teams than she had expected. They had sent 10 teams each, though they were all Mid-tier Beast Taming Teams.
A bright smile appeared on her face.
She was satisfied. Those Governors hadn’t forgotten her help. Lastly, her gaze fell on the list sent by the Special Base. Her gaze hardened.
If there was any place that could challenge the Beast Tamers of City A, it was the Special Base. They had the strongest beast tamers in each tier.
She opened the list and began to go through it. It didn’t take long for her eyes to flash with anger, but she quickly calmed herself. The Special Base didn’t send any teams like the other cities had.
Instead, they had released a statement saying that it was a voluntary mission.
Because of this, most of the beast tamers wouldn’t come. Recruitment was currently going on there, and it was a lifetime opportunity for the beast tamers.
She calmed her heart. Her anger subsided as she realized she couldn’t blame them. She was also grateful for the people who had come and those who were going to come.
Next, she began to pay attention to the battle situation in the wilderness.

Special Base (4th Zone)
Evening had arrived. Jeremy Night left his room and headed towards the administration building. He was going to buy some necessary materials. After arriving, he stepped inside the building.
He went to the front desk and met with Elder Smith. He requested a few things from him, mainly healing items. Elder Smith brought the healing items and other supplies.
He checked them one by one. Elder Smith knew what was going on, as he had heard about it from Elder John.
"Be careful, the fighting is quite intense out there. If you are not careful, you will be injured," Elder Smith said.
Jeremy Night was not surprised to hear that, figuring Elder John might have told him. He nodded and assured him that he would be careful.
After getting his things, he left the administration building. He then came across one more person: Elder Leah.
"Hey, are you leaving for City A?" Leah asked.
Jeremy nodded to her.
Leah’s eyes flashed with approval. She had heard from Elder Sandra and Elder John.
She thought that with this kind of character, this young man would enter the top three zones sooner or later.
"Don’t think about the recruitment. You will get there eventually," Leah said.
"I know. I’m focusing on the present," Jeremy replied. He then bid her goodbye and started heading back to his room.
Leah watched his retreating back. She hoped the young man wouldn’t face any trouble out there.
