Chapter 1117: Stella’s Rampage

Wilderness (Special Base)

It didn’t take long for him to get out of the green vegetation and step into the plain landscape. He had spotted some lurking Corrupted beasts on the way.

But he had avoided them carefully. He didn’t want to waste energy on the lower-tier beasts. He had decided to set his gaze on the higher-tier beasts.

Right now, he was walking on the open field. There was no patch of green grass or other vegetation. He was directly exposed to the scorching sun.

But he ignored it. Earlier, he used to worry about the time. Since he was a Tier-4 Beast Tamer now, his strength was not what it used to be.

As time passed, he headed toward the abandoned valley. He didn’t have to look at the map because he recalled the exact terrain in his mind.

Roar!

Not long after, he heard a huge roar. When he heard that, he didn’t stop moving; he continued to walk forward.

As time passed, the roaring grew louder. It didn’t take long for five or six beasts to appear all of a sudden and surround him from all directions.

All the beasts were over 2 meters tall, and one of them was over 3 meters. Five of them were Tier-5 Corrupted beasts, and one was a Tier-6 beast.

Jeremy Night’s lips curved upward. He was thinking about the hybrid dogs inhabiting the place, but he hadn’t expected their numbers to increase.

He had killed some last time, but he hadn’t expected their numbers to grow like this. He thought some of them must have come from a different place.

Roar!

The hybrid beasts roared at him. In their eyes, he was just a Tier-4 human who was easy to kill.

[I want to come out!]

Jeremy heard Stella’s voice. He realized that she was awake. He then summoned her outside.

Swoosh!

Stella appeared in her full form. Her six wings started flapping, and her bluish-white figure came into view.

Her whole body was covered in starlight power.

Stella flew high above to a considerable height. She then looked down at the Tier-6 Hybrid Dog.

The Tier-6 Hybrid Dog was drooling. Its mouth was wide open, exposing a row of razor-sharp teeth.

The hybrid dog thought that the beast flying in midair was tasty food. It had eaten the flesh of beasts that fought side by side with humans before.

Swoosh!

Stella flapped her six wings, coating them in starlight power. The next moment, she vanished from the spot.

She used her speed ability. The next second, she appeared on top of the Tier-6 Hybrid Dog. The hybrid dog was clueless; it kept staring at her previous location.

Puchak!

Under Jeremy’s shocked gaze, her six wings covered in starlight power cut through the neck of the hybrid dog.

Slash!

Her wings were enormous. She decisively decapitated the beast in one move. The large head of the Tier-6 Hybrid Dog fell to the ground.

Puchak!

A torrent of blood gushed forth from the severed neck, drenching the entire area. The kill happened in a fraction of a second.

Stella didn’t stop there. Using her speed once again, she appeared in front of a Tier-5 beast and cleaved its body in two.

Similarly, she appeared before the other beasts one by one and did the same. Within a couple of seconds, she killed all the hybrid dogs threatening Jeremy Night.

She killed six beasts in total and in no more than 30 seconds. Jeremy Night didn’t even have to count; the beasts were cleaved apart one by one before his eyes.

Swoosh!

She appeared next to him. Jeremy looked at her wings. They were crystal clear not even a single drop of blood could be seen on them.

He had to admit that Tier-6 beasts were no real match for her. They needed to find Tier-7 beasts, whose skin was much tougher.

Jeremy Night then walked up to the corpses and collected them into his storage container one by one. Fortunately, he had prepared well before entering the wilderness.

He knew they were going to do a lot of hunting, so he had brought plenty of storage containers with him.

Lastly, he put the corpse of the Tier-6 Hybrid Dog and its decapitated head into separate containers.

They were going to fetch him credit points and leaderboard ranking points.

"Let’s go," he said to Stella.

Both of them continued toward the abandoned valley. He wondered whether he would even get a chance to fight with Stella around.

Jeremy shook his head and kept walking toward the abandoned valley. It didn’t take long for his eyes to spot another higher-tier beast.

Once again, it was a familiar beast, a two-headed lizard. But this beast stood 4 meters tall at the shoulder. It was a stronger Tier-7 beast.

It was not a Tier-6 beast. He quickly warned her, but she had already vanished from the spot. Seeing that, Jeremy Night’s heart skipped a beat, and he chased after her.

Swoosh!

In a flash, she appeared above the red lizard. Both heads tracked her, but her speed was too great.

Stella used her wings once again. The blade-like wings struck the scales, but this time she felt slight resistance. It wasn’t as easy as cutting through butter.

Pfff!

Her wings sank halfway into the lizard’s body. Blood spurted from the wound. Just then, the lizard’s tail whipped around right behind her.

Swoosh!

Sensing the danger, she vanished and reappeared beside Jeremy Night.

Boom!

The two-headed lizard missed its target, slamming its tail into the ground out of frustration. The impact sent a shockwave tearing through the terrain.

Dust and smoke billowed into the air.

Pfff!

Blood continued to spurt from the wound on its back. The two-headed lizard was severely injured, yet it still didn’t know what had attacked it.

Both heads looked confused. On the other hand, Jeremy Night turned toward Stella. He could feel her fierce battle intent; she wanted to take down the beast alone.

The two-headed lizard continued thrashing, destroying its surroundings. After a moment, it regained its senses and turned toward the flying beast and the human beast tamer.
