The void shook.

Creating worlds?

More worlds?

Would it be like what Forefather Blood had created?

Did someone as peerless as this one want to create worlds as well?

Were the worlds that nice?

And what was a river of time?

The crowd did not understand, yet they were also excited and agitated in the same breath. Why weren’t they allowed to watch the proceedings? Forefather Blood had invited them, why didn’t Sword User?

It was so weird!

As strange as it was, everyone was inclined to toe the line given how they feared this person. They didn’t even know his name. When they heard of how he would establish a river of time...

Could it be that he was the forefather of time?

No one knew and no one dared approach.

Some stirred with anticipation in the chaos. Was there something good to be had from creating worlds? Why were people creating them left and right?

Three days later...

That was just the blink of an eye for powerhouses.

Li Hao stood proudly in the void. This was the center of the new chaos. He took a stance at the top of the void and percolated the power of desire through the chaos. It was one thing if no one came, but if they did... they couldn’t blame him for showing no mercy.

“Rise!”

Spirits were hidden in the surroundings, Li Hao ignored them. A soft call brought a gale force into existence in the windless void. It also seemed that waves were washing ashore. The sound of towering waves filled the cardinal directions!

Water seemed to crash upon empty space and endless chaos strength rushed over!

Unending energy swiftly gathered. It was like a tear had opened in the sky and river waters poured out of it!

It was an unending stream of water that was the physical manifestation of chaos strength.

Countless demons and gods stared, completely stunned!

Where had all this dao strength come from? There was an unending quantity of it!

The chaos strength solidified into a river. It was a tiny river, one with only the source visible, but with waters that covered the entire void. Some of the water even transformed into dao crystals!

They were as resplendent as the stars.

Countless demons and gods nearly lost their minds at the sight. Jaws dropped. There was so much dao strength! What an incredible bounty!

It spread out of the void and blotted out the sun and sky!

The sound of the river gradually filled the chaos. Li Hao unsheathed his sword!

The longsword emerged in a flash of light and sparkled with energy. He seemed to rip through the sky, making room for the river to extend through and expand. Li Hao was beginning to craft his worlds, but this was just a beginning!

The river expanded in the opening that he created for it. A supernatural character descended from the sky, coming with a large surge of dao strength. It snaked in all directions, prompting one demon god to gasp, “What is that?”

It was a supernatural character!

This was Li Hao’s supernatural character that would create a world. It became part of the world domain and rushed toward the river of dao.

A portion of the river formed a world, one with the great dao in it. For that split second, the connate demons and gods could sense... an incredibly pure great dao from it!

They couldn’t control themselves anymore!

“That’s... the origin of great dao!”

“It exceeds the great dao that we wield... it’s dao rules!”

“Rules?”

“It must be...”

All of them were going mad as they didn’t know what the mysterious thing was, but they knew that it was something very nice to have.

“Stop him from creating his world!” someone roared. “He’s absorbing all of the strength in the chaos. If this continues, we’ll become a barren, bleak land!”

Fury, greed, desire, and madness reared their heads!

Countless demons and gods appeared.

“The sword in his hand is an ultimate treasure!” someone roared. “And that book, and the star that just appeared! They’re all treasures! Kill him! If we don’t kill him, we’ll be in for it regardless once he takes all of the strength in the chaos!”

“He’s really strong, but there’s only one of him!”

“Let’s rush him together!”

“Get him!” So many demons and gods were yelling because they really couldn’t hold it together anymore. If they didn’t kill this interloper, they might not be able to improve anymore once all of the chaos strength was extracted from their home.

And of course, greed was a major factor. Sword User carted around too many treasures.

“All of you will be your own downfall!” Li Hao laughed heartily. His river began to extend, bringing out untold strength and crashing it down outside.

Rumble!

The chaos seemed to be exploding. Heaven and earth shook violently.

Some demons and gods couldn’t resist anymore and rushed over, delighted when they found a supernatural character that seemed to be a great match for them.

“This... thing? Character? Appears to be a good fit for us!” one of them roared.

Li Hao nodded with a soft chuckle. “That’s right. There are five thousand of you and there are five thousand great daos, as well as five thousand supernatural characters...”

Of course they were a great match!

Perhaps there might not be enough demons and gods to go around, but there were enough supernatural characters. Hence, everyone could locate a dao that was a good match for them. Therefore... it was an even greater allure for them.

What Li Hao needed to do was to kill the corresponding demon or god and use their spirit to nurture the relevant dao. Such was to nurture dao spirit!

Later on, once the world grew bigger, then the dao spirit would become even stronger. That would be the purview of those to come and how they cultivated. It would have nothing to do with Li Hao.

The young man grinned.

The horde rushing him had gone completely insane. They raced up the branch of the river. Li Hao laughed and swung his sword down!

Rumble!

A massive explosion ensued as he cut down the ferocious onslaught. Their spirit flew away while their bodies fell apart, melding into the great dao. The relevant dao character was immediately strengthened!

Almost all of the energy and purified spirit that they’d cultivated over the years remained behind. None of it was permitted to leave when the participant was expelled!

Whether it was New Martial or Silver Moon, they could enter Li Hao’s chaos to study and comprehend the great dao. But taking this energy with them?

That wouldn’t happen.

I don’t have enough for myself! Figure things out yourself! There will be a way once you reach the relevant cultivation level.

Killing one demon god with one stroke seemed to provoke something in the rest.

“One against him isn’t enough, all of us need to go together!” Several dozen of them howled. “The chaos will fall into disarray if we don’t kill him. I can already sense disaster descending in the future...”

“Kill!”

“Kill him!” Led by their leaders, countless demons and gods charged with bloodshot eyes. They couldn’t pay attention to too much anymore, they just had to charge the river!

The river continued to expand as Li Hao waved his arms around. It expanded to the point where other spirits hidden in the shadows sensed something.

“Wait!” they gasped. “Wherever his river runs through is where we are excluded! There will be no place left for us in our home once his river encompasses the chaos!”

“I am human, so wherever my river reaches is where humans may dwell!” Li Hao’s voice rang out. “You are connate demons and gods, some of whom are human and some of whom are not. Those who are human may enter, those who are not human may not. Instead, you can choose to integrate with the dao river and enter as spirit!”

His words angered some of the demons and gods that’d been hanging back out of fear. A giant beast of demonic flame manifested in the distance, yelling, “Why are things thus?! Why is it so unfair?! You are strong, but this chaos is where we came to be! It is our home! Why are you so unjust??”

Li Hao smiled faintly. Unjust? Long Zhan had once asked that question too.

“Because... I am a human being!” he smiled. “Of course, of the fifty great daos, forty-nine are naturally born from the heavens. That leaves a sliver of a chance for you. If you do not cause trouble for me today, I will leave one-tenth of the chaos for you to reside in...”

“What?!”

One-tenth?!

That wasn’t acceptable!!

They were used to running rampant through the chaos! Someone wanted to seize ninety percent of their home?? They wouldn’t stand for that!

“Kill! Kill him!” raged Demon Flame. “All of us will decline if we don’t kill him!”

Boom!

Figures swiftly appeared in the heavens and barreled toward Li Hao. He looked at the shouting Demon Flame...

And blinked.

Why aren’t you charging too?

Are you really Long Zhan?

Well well. You just spur other people into action but don’t do anything yourself. It looks like you really have constrained some of your desire and have learned how to scheme against others!

How interesting!

Li Hao smiled and ignored the commotion, waving his sword around some more. He cut down his would-be assailants and incorporated them into the great dao and supernatural characters. Branches of the river pierced through the void like the roots of a tree, spreading out and putting down roots in the chaos.

They absorbed chaos strength to complete their own dao, but did not form a world.

It was easy to create worlds. All that was needed was for a demon or god to voluntarily become part of that branch and turn their body into a world. That would naturally be its genesis. But if no one was willing, a world could form all the same if someone cultivated this dao!

It was just a matter of timing.

However, there was some strength of disorder in all of the daos!

Li Hao shook his head. The Disorder master was certainly an irritating fellow. Forget it, he would permit disorder to be mixed in with everything!
